Hadn't been here since before Covid, we now live in Vancouver, Wa. The food was great then, still is. We have yet to find a Chinese restaurant in the Couve that is as good. Wish we could! The food, service and personal are just great. I had General Tso''s Chicken. Oh, Yum! Egg drop soup, the best, anywhere! Everything good! Will return in spite of drive and that says a lot..
It's sad what the ownership has done to a once great restaurant. Lots of fond memories there with family and friends. All the staff who made hunan pearl the best are now gone. Taken for granted.

Awesome food, great service and a classic Chinese food restaurant style dine-in experience. If you are taking to go..grab a drink in the back at the bar. Always one or two characters sitting there and bartender-servers are friendly and at times funny. Fried pot stickers kill. Kiwi-shrimp is a must! Drunken noodles medium spicy won't disappoint. It's a standard go to for me in the LO Tigard area.
