“Aside from difficulty queing up due to a dining table being in the way, this place is always amazing. Heavy food, so be prepared, I have yet to have something I didn't like. The Maverick - a vegan western bacon cheeseburger, is my go to sandwich. All of their fries are amazing - especially the "special" fries which are topped with onions, cheez, and a thousand island - ish sauce. They also have Oogave soda (try the watermelon! in fact, try an oogave watermelon float with coconut ice cream). I make it a point to go here whenever I'm in the area. Again, though, be prepared to be full for quite some time after.“

“Our Friday night favorite! For takeout or dine-in, you can't beat their Chopped Salad and any one (or two!) of their delicious pies to celebrate the beginning of the weekend. Staff is great (hi Jackson!) and the location in Downtown Lake Oswego has that cool "neighborhood restaurant " feel. We're lucky to have them!“

“Wow. Nigiri was out of this world fresh, plump, melt-in-your mouth delicious. Tempura was impeccably light and flavorful. Service professional and not overbearing. I had my 87yo mom with us and the quiet nature of the restaurant was perfect for her. Really enjoyed it - and our teen did too. Not flashy, just delicious and simple.“

“When you think of a hole in the wall restaurant that serves authentic Costa Rican food, you probably don't think Lake Oswego. But Casa del Pollo is legit. The smoked chicken is amazing, the gallo pinto is unreal, and everything is good.“

“So...update time. We recently went back to Hush Hush Cafe. I swore I would not go back but when you crave a particular food, you give in. We ordered two falafel sandwiches, a chicken shawarma sandwich, and lemonade. I asked for the sammies to be grilled and they tasted delicious! What a huge improvement! “New menu means new items, possibly too many? The maramen was extremely spicy! If you can't handle ghost pepper heat, I wouldn't try it. It laterally gave me heartburn! The karaage (Japanese fried chicken) was burnt and definitely tasted it. But the tonkatsu ramen was perfect. And of course the service is always good here.“

“We just brought home take out from Open Rice Sushi. Tried one of their rolls, a nigiri and General Tso's Chicken. Everything was quite delicious. This is going to become a go to restaurant. Great new find! Definitely recommend for sushi eaters or non sushi eaters.“

I myself had the duck, duck is hard and this was prepared to perfection, absolutely delicious and a nice twist, with the breast leg and thigh all on one plate! I would highly recommend the duck, the vegetables- fruits, & balsamic, vinaigrette, and olive oil on the plate, complemented the duck perfectly!“

“Was fine but I have been going here for years and have always been able to order a half chop salad.. A week before at the Wilsonville location ordered it without issue. This time the server said I could not order that and it has always been that way. I asked her ask the manager and she never gave me answer. So I paid for a whole one. Don't feel she handled it properly.“

“Super cute spot in Westlake off the beaten path. The wine is wonderful and the owner is so nice and accommodating. My husband and I dipped really quick while our son was at basketball practice, and she was doing a wine tasting event, and even though her event was full and we didn't have reservations, she encouraged us to say, and I'm so glad she did. We learned a LOT about wine that night, and we got to take home some delicious new wine.“

“I came here on a beautiful evening in Portland and really enjoyed sitting out in the patio overlooking the lake. You order at the counter with food brought out later. I opted for a grilled cheese which was served with prosciutto, honey and red pepper flakes which really hit the spot. I didn't check out the theatre but great spot for a meal on the water.“

“overall ratings food: 4.8/5 service: 3.5/5 atmosphere: 4/5 price: $$ value: pretty good! thai basil has been on my bucket list for the longest time. i've heard rave reviews from all of my friends and i was excited to give it a try. firstly, i would like to commend the tasteful interior decor and the availability of parking spaces, which made the visit convenient. additionally, the food, including the pad see ew, pad thai, and chicken satay, was well-prepared and enjoyable. the portion sizes were generous, and the value for money was commendable at $15 for what felt like two meals. however, i did notice an area for improvement in terms of customer service. once our order was taken, there was limited engagement from the staff. no one checked in on us, refilled our water, or attended to our needs. furthermore, when we finished our meal, we had to wait for approximately 20 minutes to receive the bill and request take-out boxes. eventually, we had to flag down a staff member to assist us. i believe enhancing the customer service aspect would greatly benefit the overall experience. despite these observations, i still believe thai basil is a solid neighborhood thai restaurant. given the positive aspects mentioned earlier, i would consider returning if i am in the area again.“

“We love this neighborhood gem. Their food is good, prices reasonable, and service is excellent/friendly. We’ve also had great luck with their to-go food. “Dined here last last night for the first time and had the best dish I've had this year - the Lamb Sugo. Great upscale atmosphere, attentive and friendly service from the host to the server to the bartender. I stuck my head in the kitchen to compliment the chef and it was received with genuine appreciation. Will definitely be going back for more!!!“

“My husband and I just moved to Oregon and we went to The New Gemini for the first time last night. We had so much fun, great live music! The staff was fun to chat with, the newlyweds that bartend together took amazing care of us. They had funny stories and went out of their way to make us some special cocktails!
