The kielbasa one is my kids favorite.-I ? the honey spice latte.-There is an awesome toy corner and I saw the owner wipe them down after some kids played with them.-Also has a great big table that would be perfect for a study group or coworking session.Vegetarian options: The sweet kolaches were all vegetarian, and there was an egg and cheese kolache that was vegetarian as a savory option.Dietary restrictions: Clear communication about allergens was availableKid-friendliness: Great toy corner!”

“It'd be tough to imagine a better ice cream shop. This place had a line 20 people at the door so we knew it would be worth trying. We were able to get in pretty quickly, and were instantly met with you recognizable aroma of hot, fresh waffle cones. The ambience makes it feel a little bit more upscale, but the staff is so friendly and makes it a fun and casual place to get some delicious ice cream. They let me sample almost every flavor and seemed excited that I wanted to keep trying. They serve a wide variety of classic and more non-traditional flavors. I ended up getting a scoop of olive oil and a scoop of their special cookie dough, but would have been delighted with all of the options. They were all lusciously creamy, and the flavors were excellent!”

“So...update time. We recently went back to Hush Hush Cafe. I swore I would not go back but when you crave a particular food, you give in. We ordered two falafel sandwiches, a chicken shawarma sandwich, and lemonade. I asked for the sammies to be grilled and they tasted delicious! What a huge improvement! “It's hidden; walk into the office building and just beyond the stairs you take a left and then another left and you'll find a tiny yet remarkable little cafe! I love Kimbap and saw this was very close to my house so I decided to try and and I'm so glad I did! Delicious! The women working was super sweet and gave my kids some chips to free! I don’t care about your MSC-certification. Be clear and be honest about your sushi.It is a farmed fish. It has added color. For example, more than any other fish on the menu, its the almighty “King Salmon.” Color added through the food pellets they consume in water-pens. Period. Look it up yourself folks. That beautiful color isn’t so natural. Neither is that fat content.You should really consider where you eat with misinformation floating around like this…Ps: You’re probably just doing your job, but this this is not OK as a customer.”

My husband and I dipped really quick while our son was at basketball practice, and she was doing a wine tasting event, and even though her event was full and we didn't have reservations, she encouraged us to say, and I'm so glad she did. We learned a LOT about wine that night, and we got to take home some delicious new wine.”

Service staff was busy which it took a bit to take orders but understandable from the busy night and server was helpful with recommendations. Appetizers came quick and our dinner course followed not too long after. Food was delicious. We didn't have space for dessert which we will be back to try next time.”

The vegetable samosa is piping hot, perfect balance of tangy spices and a light fried shell. The tikka has great flavor, texture and plenty of tender chicken chunks. The paneer is the best we have had in Portland. We used to go to Swagat before moving out to West Linn--this food is WAY better. Service was great. Attentive, checked back several times, replace our water carafe. What more could you ask for? Ambiance is pretty simple, but we are not going there to be wowed by the walls.”

“I'm so sad that Oven & Shaker changed their kale salad. I loved the old salad with the finely shredded kale, grapefruit, delicious dressing and crunchy bread crumbs. The new salad has large pieces of kale, a boring balsamic dressing, and way too many hazelnuts. It lacks the sweet counterpart to the bitter greens. The kale salad used to be one of the main reasons I came to O&S.”

“We've tried several Thai food restaurants in Lake Oswego, and hands down Adisaya is amongst our top two favorites, with Thai Basil. It's our go-to since it's closer to us, but it's honestly very good. You can even request for vegan versions of their dishes and it's fantastic. The food isn't pre-made, it's made to order. Many Thai restaurants will exclude the sauces when ordering it vegan, but not here.”

I've lived in Oregon 50 years and it's the best I've found (except for the wood fired oven of The Bread Board in Falls City); have visited over 50 pizza parlors rated highly thru-out Oregon. Maybe there's an A-team that works Friday nights, or the regional manager was in the house (or they just stepped things up after a couple recent bad reviews). There is outdoor seating here, plus it's in the very pedestrian focused nook of shops in downtown LO, so really you have the whole area to walk around and get a seat overlooking the lake. The inside seating is nice too, a lot of variety, you can sit with just one other person at a smaller area or sit with a group at the larger tables. Almost always other people here, but even on a Saturday I found immediate seating and the line moves fast. They always have multiple employees behind the counter, even at busy times, which I love because they're so consistent in service. Always friendly too. Unpretentious. I thought I knew something about the espresso coffee variants, but I found myself stumped by the names of the drinks on there, and put on the spot, I went for the usual latte. “I found this place because of my eldest daughter, who resides in Oregon. We decided to take a road trip from her nearby city and we found this spot. This cafe is located in the business area. The interior of the cafe was nice, which consists of a interior and exterior area. We tried the chicken baja wrap and the cold brew smoothie. Both were very good and a nice portion which filled us up. Its a very nice area and the staff was very friendly. Its definitely a spot I would like to come to again, if I ever come this way again.”

“If you visit downtown Lake Oswego, this is one of my favorite bakeries. Not to mention that it has a great music, Frank Sinatra is playing currently in the background, but it does remind you of walking into a French café. Although they're open all day, my recommendation is always going in before 1 PM. Before 11AM will always be busy, so expect to wait, it's worth it. “When you think of a hole in the wall restaurant that serves authentic Costa Rican food, you probably don't think Lake Oswego. But Casa del Pollo is legit. The smoked chicken is amazing, the gallo pinto is unreal, and everything is good.”

“It'd be tough to imagine a better ice cream shop. This place had a line 20 people at the door so we knew it would be worth trying. We were able to get in pretty quickly, and were instantly met with you recognizable aroma of hot, fresh waffle cones. The ambience makes it feel a little bit more upscale, but the staff is so friendly and makes it a fun and casual place to get some delicious ice cream. They let me sample almost every flavor and seemed excited that I wanted to keep trying. They serve a wide variety of classic and more non-traditional flavors. I ended up getting a scoop of olive oil and a scoop of their special cookie dough, but would have been delighted with all of the options. They were all lusciously creamy, and the flavors were excellent!”
