“Wow wow wow wow! The potato wedges are amazing. Especially the fact that they’re gluten-free! I ordered their special Masego chicken burger on a lettuce wrap and it is spectacular. My partner ordered the pesto, chicken burger. I love that they have a pile of pickles as a side dish. I like to see a food cart that has this many options for people with dietary restrictions. I will definitely be back.Edit- next trip I had three beets to the wind (chicken) which was amazing and my partner had chicken cordon blue which he loved. “Really really good burger! The garlic fries are super good- we ordered them and then asked for them to be well done and they were so crispy and delicious. They have a lemonade with whatever featured berries and that was also good. They don’t have a large menu so more like a place that does something and does it well. I look forward to trying their chicken and fish sandwiches.“

“stopped by for late lunch and tried their bento based on the great reviews (lunch pricing ends at 3pm). the food was super fresh and yummy! ordering is via QR code on the tables. the server was kind and checked on us. sashimi and sushi were fresh. the spicy chicken serving was probably twice the size of what i usually get in a bento. i ended up bringing most of the chicken & rice home and had them for dinner. this meal fed me all day!“

They are working very hard to provide a creative, upscale, and authentic Thai food experience that is on another level from what you can get on a regular basis. The flavors are not tailored to an American palate.It is also quite expensive, one of the more expensive restaurants I have eaten at. The food is very good and the experience is unique, but be warned it is extremely expensive. Our bill came to almost 500 dollars for 2 people.I feel like it's also worth noting that some of the food is very spicy. Thai food is spicy, so this is a good thing, but be ready. This is a tasting menu, so you can't really substitute or order other things if you can't eat spicy food.Lastly, I was somewhat disappointed in the wine pairing. The cocktails here are exceptional, though, so next time, I would try those for the money you would spend on the wine pairing. Just my two cents, but if you prefer wine with dinner, get the wine pairing.“

“Black Star Grill catered our wedding. They created an amazing menu and even delivered to our venue. Due to our covid concerns, they boxed each meal separately. This was very convenient to take home after the wedding. The food was DELICIOUS, even the staff loved the food. Many of our guests got to experience West African food for the first time. Chess Tacos took over the space that used to be El Diablito which had some of the best tacos in Portland [just my opinion] so they had big shoes to fill and did not disappoint.I tried the Pollo Burrito and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and quick. The burrito is loaded with fresh ingredients, the chicken cooked perfectly, and great flavor! The chips are fresh and crisp, the perfect addition to the burrito. The avocado sauce is a bit meh, but other than that it's all delicious. I will be back to try some of their other salsas and some tacos! Will update once I've tried more, but it was a very pleasant first visit. I took my order to go but there are picnic tables with umbrellas or a few bar seats on the deck if you want to hangout for a bit to enjoy your food.“

“Until recently I worked on NE Broadway for nearly the last 5 years and have passed the place many a times and decided to stop in tonight to take myself on a solo dinner date. I am now kicking myself for sleeping on this place. What a cute, tucked away hidden gem! Sabrina was working the front of house and was an absolute sweetheart. I mentioned I was a lactose intolerant and pescatarian and she nailed it recommending the salmon salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the salad was fresh, and light while still hitting savory, sweet, acidic and a little nutty with the the feta. I enjoyed myself while dining alone but i’n looking forward to having a new date spot! Especially on the cute little patio while summer winds down.“

Bete Lukas Ethiopian food is a great place to spice up date night or come with a large group of friends first a birthday.“

“Delicious, but slow. First, this is an indoor "cart pod" facility and Coco Garden is over off the options. There is a performance venue, and lots of tables. It is like a mall food court, but in a good way. A Thai place inside Zed, they have an extensive set of gluten free options. I got pineapple curry and my husband got pineapple fried rice (see the theme?) I also got Thai ice tea. All tasty and worthwhile. I was sad that the ice tea was made with half and half, rather than coconut milk, but I also didn't ask if I could have a substitute. The only downside was how long the food took. Our party ordered from multiple locations. The others had finished their meal before ours was ready. So, give it a try, just need prepared to wait.“

“Great little Thai spot! We've been going here for years, mostly to-go, as the inside is a little small, and we live real close by. Very consistent food and they have a larger menu than some other places, and gems like their BBQ chicken with sticky rice is a real treat. And when they say spicy, they mean it, which is great! But, can order no or medium too, obviously. Totally Thai hot, though. Another real stunner is their papaya salad, fresh, sour, sweet and fish sauce heavy, yum! Big portions here too, so another plus, and no lack in flavor or quality. Prices are what I would call fair, I don't think anything, in these times, is over-priced. Apps (except a combo), are under 10$ and mains between 10$ (smaller soup) and 18$ on the high end for seafood or duck. Sometimes, especially on a first order, they will include a little extra gift in your order, two (more as it seems it's per dish ordered, so one per person) nice and hot little spring rolls for free! Very nice touch and appreciated, as it shows that they love their customers and want them to return!“

“Came here for lunch and was absolutely delighted with their food. Got a breakfast sandwich (avocado + egg) and the bread was perfectly toasted. I also got a wedge salad and it was pretty tasty too. Only thing is that I wish it came with a bit more sauce. But that’s just my preference. Was still yummy.“

My only small issue is; while our server was really good at her job, she seemed to be in an off mood and it translated to how she spoke and interacted with us. While I understand we have off days, it would have been great not to feel like we were a bother, this dinner was an early Mothers Day from my sons and daughter in law so we were all out for a great experience. I would have eaten all of it if I didn't need to save room for pizza. It was that good. The combination pizza was light and crispy and I liked how it was cut into squares. The deep crust pizza was just right for my son.“
