What a unique and delicious experience. Loved how immersive the atmosphere and eating process was. Mohammed showed us the ropes for our first time and was very kind and helpful. Excellent service and the beef was juicy. Everything was popping off with flavor. All in all extremely memorable and satisfying.
I have been visiting this restaurant for a couple decades and I can truthfully say that as far as North African cuisine goes, it is without pure in the Northwest aside from its sister restaurant in Seattle. The five course meal is delightful. The Bastille Royale is a very unique appetizer. They have the best richest lentil soup I've ever had and a wonderful, salad Mediterranean African salad. A visit to Portland wouldn’t be complete without a dinner at Marrakesh. Always amazing in every way and tonight was no different. We celebrated a birthday with a delicious, authentic five course meal and wonderful Moroccan red wine while a belly dancer entertained us. So fun. The atmosphere creates such a chill vibe and Swerky, our server, made sure everything was perfect. So much more on the menu that I want to explore. Add this stop to your plans and thank me later
