“I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find a place that is both excellent and inexpensive. For $15 you can get two chicken sandwiches and a good amount of fries. Many other places charge $15 for a single sandwich.But not only is it inexpensive, it is delicious. We've been several times now, and the chicken is always freshly fried and cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of jucieness and crispyness. Sandwiches come with pickles, coleslaw, and your choice of sauce. I recommend the hot honey. The fries are seasoned and good as well.I frequently order fried chicken sandwiches when I'm out and I see them on the menu. This place is one of the best in the city. “Alhamdulillah the food was so good I ordered a spicy six piece with mashed potatoes instead of fries and it was delicious. The establishment was very clean and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. I will definitely be ordering again.“

“Very yummy and fresh. As you can see in the pic of the burger, I bit it already so you can see the lettuce, mayo, tomatoes and onion are crunchy fresh! Love their buns too they have a slight buttery texture to them, but you have to eat them while they’re still hot! Coleslaw is good too. Also I did get with my order of chicken tenders(5)a bowl of potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit, it was all very good food. Love that the mashed potatoes were not that nasty box stuff you get from other places, I can see a couple of micro potato skins in there so I know they made it from scratch! I would suggest however that if you hop by this place do remind them to get you some condiments and napkins. Very good food for the price.“

“I came upon another "KKC" Fried Chicken establishment, this time inside of a Sunoco Gas Station in Southwest Philly. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a quick serv fresh fried chicken franchise. I've found their chicken portions are way bigger with less breading than a Popeyes. Their chicken only comes in one flavor which has a little bit of spicy kick.The staff at the store was nice and quick to help me out. I've always gone with their tenders which have always been pretty fresh and tasty. The biscuits are decent and the wings they had out looked delicious. I'll have to give them a try next visit. They have an open air cooler for cold chicken meals to go. The manager told me that they sell well on EBT. The sides they offered looked decent, mac and cheese, jumbalaya (i've had before it's good) and mashed potato's (not as good as popeyes, but ok). The manager was in the store so he gave me a quick run down. They receive the chicken in fresh - white meat, dark meat so wings, breasts, thighs etc. and prepare it all in the back - from flour and seasoning to frying it and then putting it out in a warmer. Looked like a quick and efficient setup, kept clean by the staff. The gas prices at this Sunoco are always the lowest and the manager told me they have grubhub and Ubereats available. Not the best neighborhood, but the chicken was good!“

“I mean....its a Popeyes. You know what you're getting. And this one is on par with any other one you'll go to in this area. Similar to the Adams Ave location, this one is also in a strip mall with some possibly "off" individuals, but I wouldn't say it's any worse. The thing I don't like about this location however is the lack of space at the counter where you order. The counter is right next to the entrance, so when you come in to order, as you stand off to the side to get your food, you are in the way. People coming in, people going out, people queuing up to order, other people waiting for their orders. Other than that, everything is pretty much par for the course. Yes, there is a walk up window, but I'm not sure how or when that comes into effect; maybe order ahead orders, and they definitely take card, so maybe that other review caught them on a bad technology day or something.“

“Just so that you know it is a street cart and not a brick and mortar place. This kind of places remind me my old days when I used to work in one of this during my master in NJ. Food was ok and prices are always reasonable in such a cart. Chicken could have been more chopped and juicy. Overall it was a decent lunch.“
