“Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service!“

“I’m not sure if this page is current…seems you have moved to a new location, but I wanted to leave a review anyway. My family had dinner at your new location yesterday and it was hands down the best service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I never really take the time to leave reviews so the fact that I’m doing so speaks volumes. Food, atmosphere, service, and prices were all top notch. It’s always a struggle to find a restaurant with all 4 of those qualities, let alone a menu with enough options to please everyone in my family since they all have different tastes. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and the owner even came out to greet us. We will definitely be back soon!“

“First time I’ve ever been to this venerable tradition of Roxborough. The food was good, the people were friendly and I got my scrapple, which is unheard of where I live now. I recommend it highly!“

“Was in the area getting some work done on the car and decided to try this spot. Food and service were pretty good. Went with the hungry man meal which was the right choice for a filling meal. Typical diner eggs with a very tasty and crunchy home fries. The bacon was good and the sausage was juicy and tender. Can never go wrong with a nicely cooked breakfast sausage. The pancakes were a little dense but it was a nice finish to the meal. Will definitely be coming back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp with enough space for wheelchair users to get around inside.“

“Every time I come here the staff are always nice and attentive. When it comes to the food, they have the best tasting breakfast menu in the area. I love pancakes and most places make them so thick that they soak up all the syrup, not this restaurant! This local eatery’s pancakes never disappoint so don’t hesitate to order a stack. “I loved my experience here. As a Senior citizen, you can't beat the Senior discount menu. It was outstanding. The food was discernably much higher than you could expect from a diner. My waitress was sweet and attentive. She made me feel right at home. I had the stuffed flounder from the Sr. Menu and it came with the salad bar which made it an exceptional value. I would have given it 5 stars for atmosphere except I was really uncomfortable with the phone conversation I was forced to overhear about highly unsavory and unpleasant matters 4 or so booths away. You never know what you're going to get in any given diner, but It was like that Saturday Night Live sketch with Jason Momoa where he plays an Uber driver. If that guy had not ruined my meal by putting his highly uncomfortable conversation on speakerphone I would have given it 5 stars. I am absolutely coming back again.“

“I would have given five stars , but the issue is not with the food or the service or the Atmosphere. The issue is with their credit card and debit card system whatever you want to call it. This is the first time since I've opened this bank account that THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!IT took 2 weeks to first take the original charge and then after the fact took another week to take the tip. This bank account has been so fantastic that the amounts that get taken off usually get taken off immediately right away. But not with this diner and this is not the first time i've experienced this.“
