“Great location to avoid chain restaraunts! An Irish pub on a corner in residential area of Fairmount. Traditional fare and one of the best pours of Guinness in the area! Our favorite was Donegal fries (image shown). Even the regular fries that came with our meals beyond expectations! Looking forward to return!“

“Curran’s makes some of the best wings in Philadelphia & they have for years! Excellent atmosphere & service! There is both indoor & outdoor seating! Great place to take in a game & grab drinks with friends! 10/10 would highly recommend!“

“We stumbled into this wonderful place cold, hungry and exhausted. The wonderful lady at the door, who turns out to be the owner, welcomed us with open arms and began to search for a table. We had to wait a few minutes so she got us 2 stools to sit on while we ordered our beer. Minutes later our table was ready! We ordered the Guinness Casserole and left nothing on that plate! She came over to check on us and saw that we had no soda bread and got us a plate full. We boxed a few pieces to take back with us to enjoy at breakfast. As we left we thanked her and I told her that everything was FANTASTIC and showed her the bread we were going to take home! She then took the box and filled it for us so we had enough for long drive home! I will come back anytime I'm in Philly. I have told all my friends and family to come here. It is a wonderful place. Live Irish music and extraordinary service. Thank you for your warm hospitality and delicious food and cold beer!“

“Despite the other reviews that I read that only gave this phenomenal bar one or two stars, I come with facts! No emotion! Just facts! I work for Southwest Airlines, and I visited this bar during one of my Philadelphia overnights. I had an incredible experience. I would give them 10 stars if it was possible. Furthermore, I met the manager, and he, too, added to my incredible experience. I travel across America every day, and I know what to expect from a good establishment. If you are ever visiting Philadelphia, then do yourself a favor and visit Con Murphy's Irish Pub! You will enjoy yourselves.“

“It's a pretty pretty good happy hour with half off drinks. But last time I was there the bartender took so long to give me my check that I left a five and walked out. I hope I left enough. Oh well if I get banned, there are so many other bars that I won't be disappointed.“

“Nice Irish pub in South Philly. Went with my GF. I had the House burger which was delicious with onion rings (pictured). My gf had the Shepard's pie and she devoured a good chunk of it before I could take a photo. We shared the Bacon Mac and cheese as an appetizer.“

“Fall of the bone wings with great flavor. Only wish they could also be crisper but just my personal preference. Still delicious nonetheless. The fried Ravioli with the marina sauce is also a fave of mine. Place is small so we always order out.“
