“Our first visit to Folly Beach and I'm so glad we found gems like Jack of Cups. The Asian fusion dishes are a nice twist but the highlight for us was the absolutely heavenly Ube cheesecake. And I like that the description says it's a 'no nonsense' place. Loved the atmosphere.“

King Street Bev Co Bar • $$

“We sat at the bar and got the burger and the shrimp tacos-- both were so good I can't find words. I was expecting bar food-- boy was I wrong!! The place was packed (we came for the Rose Bowl Game-- a really cool vibe). Despite the crowd, the bartenders were very attentive. 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back!!“

“I found this place from google maps. I wanted a chicken sandwich, and they have one . It was so good ! It hit the spot with honey and bbq sauce. The pace is know for the Moscow Mule. I had mint julep. With a upscale look you know you're in for something good . It has an inviting pleasant atmosphere. Casual dress attire. We were greeted with good old southern hospitality . The owner took time and showed us local vodka , and bourbon. He was friendly“

“First time in Charleston, came for the tennis tournament and stayed downtown. Recommended we go down a block to the Dispensary for some great food and drinks. There was live music, singer/ guitar. Not too crowded, had open booths across from bar. Menu on the QR code. Ordered 'Berry Me Alive' cocktail that was amazing! Ordered two Appetizers that were very good- Ham Cheese sliders, mozzarella sticks, and Pretzel dip - all were perfect! Not too much or filling to take away from our entrees. Entrees- buffalo chicken wrap, full Caesar salad with grilled chicken and Cuban sandwich with side of truffle fries . Normally would not expect bar food to be so great but these were delightfully delicious!! Everything! Ambiance- local college + bar . The live music/ bands are great! Put in a request for Tennessee Whiskey and the lead singer didn't disappoint... plus they played all , country, pop, reggae, rock, 80's, 90's ... very talented . Came in around 8, left around 11. Surprised to see 3 security guards/bouncers on a Thursday night. Later on we learned from the concierge that things pick up after 10 / bar hopping/etc. This didn't alter our experience whatsoever as everything about this place was amazing! Definitely will return and recommend as a place to add on your visit!“

“The noise level was low but we were also there early before the place got hopping. The waitress was super accommodating and was able to speak well to the food and drink options. The restaurant aesthetic was relaxed, comfortable. We sat on the back patio, which was almost like being in someone's backyard (a good thing!). The Carolina Wren and Stateside Swizzle were creative and sweet! For eats, we had only appies -- crab cake deviled eggs (delicious but couldn't tell there was crab), brussel sprouts (pretty tasty but a bit overdone), street corn tostada (absolutely the best of what we ordered!), and the Pork & Pistachio Terrine (wouldn't order again). Overall, Prohibition provided an inviting, comfortable experience with mostly really tasty, flavorful treats to nosh on. If I found myself in the area again, I'd come back.“
