The tacos were just okay, they were the best but they good for lunch. Mahi was the best, tuna is a seared tuna btw and the shrimp was just okay and fried. I was able to make same day reservations though! We got lucky, someone canceled! Even though this is a sushi spot, they had vegetarian options, and they had non-sushi options like the pork katsu. Their veggie sushi roll was SO good. I love when places get creative with veggie rolls and put a variety of veggies in. I also tried the roll that had lemon and jalapeño. I'm not the biggest fan of crab, but this roll was amazing. The lemon adds the perfect amount of zest! Plus, it's fun to try rolls I've never seen before. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, I needed to order the fried ice cream. It was SO GOOD. The fry batter is super light and crispy, and the red bean ice cream was amazing. Also do not sleep on their happy hour - it's a great deal with food and drink. Their Caesar salad is unique and has the best crunch with the seeds addition. We also tried the Korean chicken which was a great share item for the table and packed with flavor. All the pizzas are great but the tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had. “Excellent service, excellent food! This restaurant was one of the few that is able to handle a large reservation (for us 13 people). We were split into two tables and had to order family style (meaning they serve a variety of dishes, you are able to tell your waiter if you have any specific requests though). The food was so amazing, for the first course they gave my table of 6 two pizzas, meatballs and a caesar salad. The second course they served a roasted chicken with gnocchi and asparagus. It came with 2 pastas (a red sauce and a carbonara) as well as brussel sprouts. The dessert was a tiramisu. The caesar salad was SO good, it was well dressed and had the right amount of parm! A person in our group has a celiac allergy and the staff here were so so accommodating. It was impressive how knowledgable they were in ensuring there was no cross contamination (asking questions such as if it was ok to fire the gluten free pizza in the same oven as the others). They were able to create gluten free versions of the pizza, pasta, and dessert. In addition in each course they clearly communicated which dishes were specially made as well as which of the normal dishes were safe as well. Overall super impressed!“

“First time visit recommended by nephew. Great food, great server and prompt service. Always try to be considerate in not overstaying our welcome when people are waiting to be seated. We finished our lunch having been there a total of one hour , enjoying talk with nephew who we hadn’t seen in months when another employee rudely and abruptly said “so, are you ready to settle up?” Never have we felt like we were being ejected from a restaurant! And the real rub is there were at least 3 empty tables and a booth in our seating area. We three were so stunned by her rude manners, we politely gave her our card, (and she took the liberty of pre-selecting a 22% tip which we gladly gave our server)paid our bill and left - NEVER TO RETURN!“

“I had Saturday brunch with my parents here while visiting Charleston. It was a lovely spot that felt very hip and had a cool vintage aesthetic to it. The food was amazing and tasted very fresh! We ordered the lamb burger, surfer delight, cauliflower wings, and a cocktail. I loved the cauliflower wings and the lamb burger came with sweet potato fries which were my favorite! The service was great!! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful with choosing dishes. We were also sat very quickly despite it being a Saturday and a busy crowd. The ambiance is so cute and I loved the vibe. It's a bright space with nice windows, a bar, and outdoor seating. Great spot that I'm glad we came across while visiting!!“

“The go to spot for bar food in town! My friends and I love going here. Cheap drinks and food. As mentioned, you can expect bar style food...but cooked to perfection. The fries are cut and made in house, making them the best fries in town. Staff is usually swapped but will always greet you with a smile. The food can take a bit longer when they're busy, definitely worth the wait if you've got the time to hang out!“

“Stopped in for a few drinks after dinner and this place was perfect for our girls night.Live music was being played in the corner by a solo musician that set a quiet tone while an old Mel Gibson flick played on the wall on the opposite side of the bar. The mood was quiet , quirky and sophisticated. It was refreshing from the “college kid vibe you get from most places after 9pm DT .“

“Great diner with friends. Great service. Pricey for the food which was good, but not top notch. I had the scallops and was surprised to seem them prepared in a brown sauce which I really didn't care for. Perhaps I just didn't read the menu description throughly. Rib eye was very good, but very pricey.“
