“Finally had the opportunity to visit Lewis Barbecue and it was fantastic! It was a Friday night, around 7pm. There was a long line but it did move and having drinks from the bar while waiting certainly helped to pass the time! The time in line also provided us with the opportunity to review the menu and plan our order. My husband and I split an order of pulled pork and chopped brisket - along with Mac and cheese, fries and the sides (including yummy pickles!). Bread was offered but we declined. Everything was delicious - and we took home leftovers. We look forward to returning soon!“

“The food was as good as my Nana and Cousin Odessa's cookin' - delicious! Gabe was our hostess and her service was excellent! The ambiance included good music, beautiful wall art, pictures and of course our joy and laughter shared with everyone. Our drink will always be the "Dirty Obama!" Celebrating three birthday's, we were serenaded with Stevie Wonder's HBD song sung by everyone in the place! Thank y'all for the best dining experience of our SC visit!“

“Swig and Swine has the best barbecue in Charleston! The food and the service are amazing. I usually get the brisket or pork and it is delicious. The staff are very hospitable as well. I’d definitely recommend trying it out if you’re in the area.“

“Service was amazing and very nice building with neat decor. The food was AMAZING and I mean absolutely to die for. I got the cheeseburger with mac n cheese, tasted like someone's papa and grandma put their heart and souls in that food. Didn't have to wait a long time for the food but honestly even if you did, I would genuinely say absolutely worth it. Pricing was fair for everything. Ps if you get a salad go with the visagarette, it's life changing.“

“Yo!!!! The best brisket ever!!! Say no more!!! Omg!!!! Anyways ordered the trio platter with the whole hog (for me was just ok , I’ve had better lechon, sorry) the pork shoulder (really well seasoned and moist! Very tasty one of the best pork shoulders I’ve tasted, then the brisket! As soon as I bit in to that brisket! It was a flavor and texture perfection! The brisket was soft and juicy, very well seasoned, no need for the extra sauce. The collard greens was very good too!!! I’d most likely order just the brisket next time as it was my favorite. Come here early like 4-5pm and there’s no line.“

“Yall, this place is an insanely good hidden gem. They have AMAZING food, that tastes like its made from scratch, is cooked as fast as any fast food place (they even have a drive thru) and they are also cheaper than pretty much ANY fast food chain. It's honestly mind boggling. But on top of all of this..the staff is so sweet and amazing and they really make you feel like your the most special. This place is my new favorite restaurant and I will be eating here over and over and over again! Thanks for being awesome yall, keep up the great work! <3“

“So glad I found this spot and only about 2 blocks from me! The food is amazing, I'm from Texas and they do their brisket just right! My favorite though was their pulled pork! They have so many sauces as well and all the employees I interacted with were so nice! I came during the masters golf thing and they had pimento sandwiches for sale as well ans they were spot on, I csnt wait to come back!“
