I was able to make same day reservations though! We got lucky, someone canceled! Even though this is a sushi spot, they had vegetarian options, and they had non-sushi options like the pork katsu. Their veggie sushi roll was SO good. I love when places get creative with veggie rolls and put a variety of veggies in. I also tried the roll that had lemon and jalapeño. I'm not the biggest fan of crab, but this roll was amazing. The lemon adds the perfect amount of zest! Plus, it's fun to try rolls I've never seen before. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, I needed to order the fried ice cream. It was SO GOOD. The fry batter is super light and crispy, and the red bean ice cream was amazing. If you're in Charleston, you should definitely try to get a reservation here!“

“I have been coming to the Fuji locations for over five years. Fell in love with this crunchy roll which has drawn my taste buds back every time I'm in Charleston. Yes it's pricy. This one roll during lunch was $11. But worth it on occasion. Kind employees. Modern, Asian, fine dining atmosphere + a bar.Parking: Paid parking garage across King.Kid-friendliness: Not kid centric. “What I’ve had at this restaurant.. I’ve absolutely loved. They have a roll with lobster salad, salmon and sprouts that is incredible. I also order their spicy tuna cracker every time I go. They are so flavorful and delicious.. would recommend to any spicy tuna lovers. I could order those two items any time and be happy.I have also tried a couple of their lunch specials, which are very reasonably priced and delicious.Their miso soup is wonderful and their customer service is excellent as well.“

“The best dining experience we have had so far during our visit to Charleston. The restaurant is beautifully laid out and decorated. We had selections from the happy hour menu and added the fried rice. All the food was really good. All the staff we interacted with were great. Our server Sam was warm and wonderful. We are from New Jersey and had the pleasure of having dined with on the delicacies created by Tim at our local sushi restaurant and are jealous that folks in Charleston have access to this great restaurant. We walked by here and thought it would be good. The restaurant isn't exactly the cleanest and to food isn't exactly the highest quality that you may be used to in Charleston but it was pretty good, especially for the price. My husband and both ordered a drink and entree and shared a roll, all for about $50. It's almost impossible to get all that anywhere else. I even opted for the duck, which was a thigh portion but I really liked it. The curry was good and the vegetables were fresh. The roll wasn't very fancy but they had some that sounded really good to choose from. At under $10 for a roll, the price was right. Our server was nice and the food came out pretty quick. This looks like one of the hot spots for the college kids, probably because it is so affordable and it's pretty darn good. I'd definitely recommend and if we were local, we would definitely be back.“

“Wow, I was impressed. All-you-can-eat, made to order sushi, apps, and hot food for $30. I went early evening on a weekday, so no crowd. Staff was amazing and as they explained how it worked, but I was waiting for the catch. There was none. I ordered a full plate of nigiri to start, then a couple plates of rolls and more nigiri. There was even dessert, but I had no room at that point. Server and host were very kind and friendly throughout and talked up how lunch is even a better deal. Sadly I am not local or this would be a weekly thing for me.“

“The food was excellent, as were the margaritas! But the true star of the show was our waitress. She was so incredibly sweet and attentive. We were never without drinks, and while there was a small wait for our entrees, she kept refilling our sides and even offered us a discount for the wait. We really weren't worried about the wait time, it was really very short and we were having such a a good time, we honestly barely noticed. But as someone in the industry, it meant the absolute world to me that our server was so patient and sweet to us. Could not have asked for a better dining experience ?“

“This place is amazing, especially for bachelorette's and birthday's. They brought out drinks for our friends who were celebrating a bday and a bachelorette and played music for them and let them bang the gong with a drum! The server was super friendly, gave us passes to skip the line at nearby clubs and when the kitchen messed up an order of sushi rolls, they gave us the messed up one for free and brought out the correct one super quickly. 10/10 service, and really good food and prices!“

Steak was juicyZ not the best hibachi I ever had but great for a quick lunch and pretty good I think. The restaurant needs a deep clean. The bathrooms and floors haven't been cleaned in awhile. That's the only reason I deducted points .“

“The absolute height of food in the area and the only Chinese worth getting in WA.It's small, unassuming, and discretly tucked into a strip mall, but it is absolutely worth your time.We had a bunch of sushi rolls, a teriyaki chicken, and a Mongolian beef bowl...multiple times...multiple days...in a row. Each time was perfect and felt better than the last! I loved it so much that I got some for a flight out of Charleston as my in-flight meal.All the food is served in to-go containers, but they could serve this masterpiece in a trash can, and it would still be great.Recommended highly!“

“Ordered the veggie ramen with tofu, roasted seaweed, and chilli paste. I will say without the paste the ramen is bland but with the paste it's DELICIOUS. I wish the tofu was included as well vs paying additional. Also ordered the Lychee Japanese soda which is so good and tough to find.“
