“I loved the ambiance of this place. I love that there are no tvs, how small and dark it is. It reminds me of places in NYC. The service was great. The food was good. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of pasta dishes for an Italian restaurant, but that's my only complaint.“

“Service was very attentive and welcoming. Once in the restaurant was very cozy, and quiet. We went on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all. There seems to be additional seating on a back porch area. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the lamb. The pizza was full of flavor. The lamb was absolutely delicious“

“I love this pizza place. They’re a good distance from my house, so I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve walked over to get a pizza just to myself now and then. And not only is the pizza always delicious, but I feel perfectly welcome to sit down inside, take my time, and enjoy it. My friends and I like to sit in there as well, for good food and good company. The man I assume to be either the manager or the owner is extremely friendly, and checks up on the customers whenever he’s in— which is very often. If anyone’s looking for a sign to find a new favorite pizza place, this is it.“

“Our ROMEO lunch group of 8 went here today. Were seated immediately and waiter took our orders. The Tuesday special was a 12" pizza with two toppings and two sides. Four of us went together and ordered 2 of the Specials...had a great pizza and side pizza with buttermilk dressing and one guy ordered a honey mustard dressing. The other guys ordered the Oklahoma Burger. Smashed burger style with home fries. They said the burger was very good. Service was good. Great atmosphere. This is one of our favorites. Ratings by the guys varied from 3.9 - 4.5, with most of us giving it 4.5. Average rating was 4.2. Great place...nice outdoor seating on the porch when the weather's nice.12 Inch“

“Busy Sunday Brunch with Mixed Results -We visited Tazza Kitchen for brunch on Sunday around 1:30 PM. The restaurant was initially busy but cleared out quickly. While we were seated promptly, our server didn't inquire about drinks and seemed more focused on closing up, as they close earlier on Sundays. The breakfast burger was delicious, but the Baja bowl lacked flavor and seasoning. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot our Bloody Mary order. Overall, it seemed like the staff was ready to end their shift. On a positive note, once we were able to get someone's attention, they were happy to help. Salt and pepper shakers were missing from our table, but a staff member readily provided them when requested.“

“I have to admit I don't usually give many 5 star ratings for the simple fact that it's symbolic to perfection, and it's not often that I encounter that. Even during the busiest of weekends (prom), the service, food, and atmosphere was delightful. I had the Stella Rose Moscato and crab cakes with pasta and marinara sauce...absolutely delicious!! Our server was vibrant and on point with our entire fine dining experience. I certainly recommend scheduling a reservation!“

“Now that I've had this about 2-3 times, I feel I can confidently leave a review. I'm a northern transplant from NJ, and I can safely say this pizza reminds me of home. The crust is thin and crunchy, and the taste is pretty dang spot on. Folding a slice and eating it, I wouldn't be able to tell an NJ slice and a blue pizza slice apart. I will say, there's been a pizza we ordered where there was far too much grease for my liking, but that's pretty typical of NJ pizza anyway. So, while annoying, it is authentic. The things we've ordered so far were: - 2 plain slices - garlic knots - 1/2 plain 1/2 bacon pizza - 1/2 plain 1/2 bacon & chicken pizza The slices, like any NJ joint, were kind of lackluster. But I'm a firm believer that you should never judge an NJ pizza spot on their slices. So, that's why we got some pies and waited to review. Disappointingly, the garlic knots suck. I would say it nicer, but really there's no way to get around it. They suck. They barely tasted like garlic, and I could probably get better ones at Publix. That being said, it didn't deter me from coming back. I just was pretty miffed. The 1/2 plain, 1/2 bacon pie was pretty good, coming from someone who doesn't really like bacon all that much. This was the pie that was a bit too greasy for my liking. I'd say it was the bacon, but my next order said otherwise. The 1/2 plain, 1/2 bacon & chicken pie was the best thing I've eaten from this place. My partner had a hankering for a chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza and unfortunately for him I'm not a big fan of ranch, so we settled with this. I have to say, it had us wishing we got the whole pie as chicken & bacon. It was that good. AND it wasn't greasy. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go if you want a taste of home, or if you're looking for some authentic NJ pies. Really hope they add stuff like cheesesteaks, hoagies, etc in the future. **Ratings: Plain slices: 5/10 Garlic knots: 2.5/10 1/2 plain, 1/2 bacon pie: 6/10 1/2 plain, 1/2 bacon & chicken pie: 8.5/10 I'll give this place a 4.2/5 for now. Price: ~$20 for a large pie. Pretty standard.“
“We had a great time here for my husbands Christmas party. We had never been and were excited to try a new place in Columbia. The idea of using an old airport hangar is amazing, I love repurposing of old buildings. The party was hosted in the private section of the restaurant, we had great service at the bar. My husband specifically loves one beer so he was a bit disappointed but he loved his mixed drink. He said that this is one of the only places where the bartender makes his favorite correctly. I loved the wine selection and enjoyed my sangria. The homemade pizza was delicious! It had a great tasting crust and sauce! We loved the pizza. The atmosphere was great, we loved the decor and especially how pretty it was for the Christmas holiday. We definitely will be visiting again!“

“Za's has been around Columbia since the end of the last century, and the fact that it's still operating says good things. And there are a lot of good things here starting with the people who work here. We showed up one recent evening with a couple of handicapped people as our guests. Rendell could not have treated any of us with any greater dignity and courtesy; he was a gem in getting us seated conveniently and quickly. And he made sure our server Collette was every bit as kind and helpful. We are much appreciative. Za's has always been fun to some degree because it has a lot of shaded outside seating (and dogs are welcome). But it also has a good beer and wine list and some good food including lots of varieties of brick-oven pizzas. Yum. We especially loved the charred okra, spinach and artichoke dip, the hummus and a couple of the aforementioned pizzas. We came away very happy. Really the only downside seems to be the lack of parking given the small lot and businesses in the area. If you drop by please say hello to Rendell.“

“Been wanting to try these guys for years. Managed to get off early enough to catch them before they were closing. I called roughly 30 minutes before they were supposed to close just to make certain it was okay to put a order in because I don't like being one of those terrible people that shows up before a business clothes expecting full service. The young lady that answered the phone was very welcoming, very sweet about it, and actually almost made me feel Goofy for asking because it was no big thing. Ordered a large Meat Lovers, and take it home from my son and me. My new favorite pizza place. They got the meat cheese and sauce balance just right, my son was ecstatic and he normally doesn't care about that sort of stuff. Can't wait to come back and dine in.“

“We enjoy the Doko pizza. Smoked brisket on a pizza, can’t go wrong. Their pepperoni pizza is great with two types of pepperoni. So far, everything we’ve tried, we like. They are now on Door Dash for delivery.“

“I love that you can create your own pizza and not get charged for extra toppings. The service is ok depending when you go. I love the atmosphere it's very family oriented and chill.Vegetarian options: Since you can create your own pizza you can get all veggies or what have you.Parking: Parking in a small shopping enter and parking is a headache. Be careful because people don't look where they going and hit you and keep going!Kid-friendliness: Kids can go and enjoy themselves with parents of course. They can create their own pizza and share their creations with each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is too far away from blaze and mostly taken up anyway.“

“Stopped by this location on Easter Sunday, since a lot of the other locations were closed. I had the spicy teriyaki wings, which had a great flavor. I also had the egg rolls, which were amazing. The dipping sauce went very well, with the egg rolls. The customer service was great. The gentleman at the door helped with me getting a menu. The bar tender Gabe was very friendly.Definitely a great spot to pop in to grab drinks, or shoot a game of pool.“

“My wife and I went here last night for dinner. We decided to split a large Greek salad with the creamy salad dressing and also, split the house special pizza. The salad was very good with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers and feta cheese. The salad dressing was also good. The pizza was excellent. It had a very crispy crust with sausage, pepperoni and ground beef, black olives and onions. The cheese had a great taste and the sauce was also good. The nice thing is that the crust was crispy and strong enough to hold that many toppings without falling over as many do. You can actually pick up a slice and eat it! Great menu with a lot of choices of subs, Italian dishes and Greek gyros and plates. Will definitely return!“

“Was visiting from out of town. Amazing food and friendly staff. The fettuccini alfredo has the best sauce from any restaurant I've been to. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Options are not aimed at vegetarian diets or labeled as such, but there are plenty of options that do not have meat or offer meat as an optional addition, which allows for a large selection of dishes that are friendly to vegetarians.“

“I throughly enjoy the food here. It is always fresh and flavorful. The servers are friendly and know the menu very well and can offer suggestions. My suggestion, in addition to all of the dishes on the menu, is the Turkish flat bread... the presentation is beautiful. The only thing I haven't tried is the pizza. Even when very busy, the kitchen is able to keep up with the patrons and there is never a long wait.I absolutely recommend the green olive!Vegetarian options: Salads, appetizers, pizza...Dietary restrictions: My husband is dairy free and there were no issues.Parking: Right next door is a large parking lot.“

“During my recent inaugural visit to Upper Crust, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Guiding me through the culinary journey was Christopher, our attentive server whose warmth and knowledge of the menu were remarkable. Christopher not only provided insightful recommendations but also ensured our glasses were never empty and our food arrived promptly. The dishes were served piping hot and exuded freshness, a testament to the quality upheld under the new ownership, of which Christopher proudly shared his involvement as part of the management team. To encapsulate my satisfaction, I can only urge you to request Christopher's service when you next visit. He truly deserves a raise for his outstanding hospitality.“

“Ive been going to cicis since I was a child, it’s a comfort place for me. The manager Jessie was so nice to everyone. Had an amazing attitude and came up to our table personally to ask how everything was and if I wanted my macaroni pizza remade because it wasn’t as fresh as he’d like it to be. Amazing service from him!!!“

“Pizza is delicious. Sames like the regular crust style is "thin crust". So you would have to pay extra for "thick crust", which is what I consider to be "regular pizza thickness". It's a little pricey as well. But the flavor is really rich.“

“Been looking forward to trying this place and found it interesting... Very busy on a rainy Friday night. Ordered at 4:15 and was ready by about 5:30. Guys were slammed and working hard. Everything was prepared correctly and well made. Really liked the meatball pizza ?. The Brussels sprouts pizza was good but the caramelized garlic was very very caramelized. Like caramel. Stick to your teeth. Different. I didn't like the flavor of the pepperoni on the jalapeno pizza. A bit gamey for me.I will Definitely ? be going back for meatball and try something else. Love a place that's doing it differently!“

“Great little brick oven pizza place. Toppings are fresh and there is plenty of seating if you plan to dive in.Parking: Street parking is limited, but there is an open parking lot behind the shopping center for all overflow parking. Walkways between the buildings open up the shopping center for ease of access from the parking lot.“

“The food was beyond terrific! I had the Extra Special Calzone, my wife the Chicken Parmigiana and my sister an individual pizza. We all enjoyed our meal tremendously and the service was also top notch. If I wanted to complain, I would have liked a little more choice in the tap beer, but that's insignificant. And the price was extremely reasonable! Go here-you won't regret it! Highly recommended!“

“Came in after a long day on Tuesday April 9th between 7/8pm. The staff there greeted me with smiles and awesome customer care! I can't remember the ladys name in the jean overalls but she's the perfect example of going above and beyond to please the customers needs. MOD Pizza should be happy to have such a great team member that represented the company well! Each staff member took their roll serious and literally perfected every pizza and the one salad that I ordered! Keep up the good work guys!“

“Decided to stop through town at this pizza spot. Ordered 2 slices they were good wish 1 of them wasn't so burnt on the bottom but other than that it was good. Not to greasy or over sauced/cheese. Crust was a bit big and thick for my liking.“

“My husband got nine wings. Five hot and four with a rub that the waitress recommended. He loved the rub better than his hot wings which is all he ever eats. I got the lunch special, salad, individual pizza and drink. The only thing that disappointed me was, there was no onion in the salad but that won't deter us from going back. The food was very good as was the service.“

“Great Fazoli's experience. Pizza was good and the bread sticks were amazing. A lot of times when going to a Fazoli's the breadsticks are dry. Not here lots of garlic butter. Hot and perfect. Staff was friendly too... I love this Fazolis and will continue to visit when we come to Columbia. Waiting patiently for the one in Anderson to open though, it's a lot closer to Greenville...Parking: Parking is OK but at night the parking lot is a bit dark...“

“Cool local spot. Great atmosphere. Small and quaint with hip artwork. Our pizza was a little undercooked and doughy in the middle. 4⭐ for the category. Personal preference for the sauce to be a little more savory and the crust more well done. We had the mixed greens salad and that was excellent. Service was ok. Our server was nice enough but we felt a little rushed. No checking in on the food, no refills, or offer for dessert.“
