“We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with kindness, understanding, and genuine care. Alex was a fantastic server and the other wait staff were very attentive. He knew what to suggest on the menu and provided us with great options. Our steaks were delicious and the sides (baked corn and lobster mac-n-cheese) were so tasty. We left with our bellies full and feeling well taken care of. Such an amazing place to go for date night or a special occasion.“

“Well, Hendrix is my favorite place in Columbia SC! I always order the half chicken and old fashion! They never let me down, always fresh and delicious. Their sides are fantastic. “I came here on a girls night with my friends and we were very happy with our orders. The ambiance was perfect and we loved having a corner booth with pillows by the door. The scallops were served with three sauces. One was a creamy dill sauce, another was a savory balsamic sauce and the other was chive oil with drops of cholula hot sauce. Out of the three, all of us loved the chive oil with hot sauce the most! It was divine and even complimented the Brussels. The service we received was great! The wine was flowing and very good as well. They have a great wine list!“

“I got married there today and the staff was amazing in accommodating our small and intimate ceremony. We weren’t expecting anything AT ALL except some good tapas, drinks, and great vibes. We were given a bottle of bubbly to pop once we said our I DOS and a round of shots for us and our guests. I couldn’t be happier. Market on Main was already a great place that I’d experienced wonderful service and food each time I’ve gone but they will forever be an amazing memory for us as we shared the most special day of our lives. “I've been wanting to try this place for a few months and man I'm so glad I had the opportunity to stop in today! There is seating inside the restaurant however, We ended up eating in the car (I'm pregnant and a little sensitive to various food smells) they brought our smoothies and food out separately so everything was fresh, and the rigtt he temperature which was really nice. I ordered the loaded chili dog with Mac n cheese and fruit salad. The chili dog was so delicious it had like bbq style baked beans on it as well as traditional chili beans and the chili dog had like a breakfast type sausage with a hint of maple idk it was mf delicious. The Mac n cheese was also pretty good and well seasoned. My husband got the wings with Mac and cheese and fried okra. Okay the fried okra was soooo good! Still crispy and fresh at the same time! Husband said the wings and Mac and cheese were also good. (This means a lot as he is NOT vegan) We also got smoothies I really enjoyed the dragonfruit smoothie and hubby is enjoying the tropical. I wish they had seamoss but they were out today. The woman helping us was so helpful and kind! She was very knowledgeable about their menu and did not hesitate to make recommendations. She was so good at her job we nearly got dessert also! Because we ended up eating in the car she even came back out to check on us which was really sweet.“

“First time trying Kao Thai. It on a nice spot on Main St. We had dinner on a Monday. It wasn’t that busy and we had the option to sit on either the patio or indoors. We chose the patio since it was a nice day. Our waitress was so sweet and consistent, she kept us in the loop about everything going on like happy hour and the prices during it. We tried the Bangkok Shrimp and Pork Gyoza as our appetizers. They tasted so spot on and delicious. Then right after we finished with our appetizers, our meals came out right in time. I got the Pad Kapow and my boyfriend got the Pork Belly Ba Mee. The Pad Kapow was very good, it has marinate chicken with bell peppers and some other vegetables. It not spicy, instead its very sweet and savory. The Pork Belly Ba Mee has very thinly sliced marinate sweet pork belly, with savory sweet noodles along with the topping of a kick of spicy chili. I very much recommend this place if your looking for trying something new and interesting along with trying something sweet & spicy. ?️ ??“

“I had lunch at your hey 76 location. The omelet served to me was overcooked with maybe a half teaspoon of tomatoes 2 sparse pieces of spinach. I could not find the avocado I ordered. I paid 10 dollars for a substandard meal at best. I will not eat there again“

Love that part..The produce looks and is really fresh, you'd want to pick it up and start eating. I was looking for celery which I got and chicken sausage patties, they did have the patties but did have links. I ended up with apple cider ginger which was cheaper than any other store. Karob covered peanuts, to die for, they didn't make it home.They also have a deli section, a wine section, candles and lava lamps. Any kind of healthy skincare that you can think of. Hair products, candles, incense.Healthcare items. I know I've named a lot of things, but please, this is a don't miss out on store!“

I am from up North and have to say it has been very hard to find GOOD authentic food that is not traditionally southern, since I moved here. However, this place does not/will not disappoint. The flavor, spices and care that goes into making this food is commendable. I know good food and consider myself a "foodie" and anyone who says the food is bland, must not have taste buds! Luv this place and was so happy they brought back the buffet on Sat evenings! “Za's has been around Columbia since the end of the last century, and the fact that it's still operating says good things. And there are a lot of good things here starting with the people who work here. We showed up one recent evening with a couple of handicapped people as our guests. Rendell could not have treated any of us with any greater dignity and courtesy; he was a gem in getting us seated conveniently and quickly. And he made sure our server Collette was every bit as kind and helpful. We are much appreciative. Za's has always been fun to some degree because it has a lot of shaded outside seating (and dogs are welcome). But it also has a good beer and wine list and some good food including lots of varieties of brick-oven pizzas. Yum. We especially loved the charred okra, spinach and artichoke dip, the hummus and a couple of the aforementioned pizzas. We came away very happy. “Publico is a staple in Columbia and I always love when I get to go! The service is always consistent along with the food quality. One of my favorite things to get is their waterline margarita. It's super cute casual spot in Five Points. There's mainly street parking but I've never had an issue finding any on a Saturday. I highly recommending coming especially if you have a group friends that can't decide on what kind of food they want. Publico is very diverse!“
