“Always a favorite when we come to town. Fresh local ingredients. The menu is small so each dish is done well. We almost chose somewhere else tonight and I'm so glad we didn't as this was one of the best meals we've had here! Fresh heirloom tomato salad on a bed of arugula with feta and a balsamic drizzle. Mahi Mahi special with a lovely couscous and the best salmon ever.“

“Well, Hendrix is my favorite place in Columbia SC! I always order the half chicken and old fashion! They never let me down, always fresh and delicious. Their sides are fantastic. After dinner the rooftop is the place to be. The service in the restaurant is excellent the rooftop bar could be better....the bartender just simply don't care. You should go and enjoy the place.“

“I got married there today and the staff was amazing in accommodating our small and intimate ceremony. We weren’t expecting anything AT ALL except some good tapas, drinks, and great vibes. We were given a bottle of bubbly to pop once we said our I DOS and a round of shots for us and our guests. I couldn’t be happier. Market on Main was already a great place that I’d experienced wonderful service and food each time I’ve gone but they will forever be an amazing memory for us as we shared the most special day of our lives. Thank you all so so much from the bottom of our hearts.“

“Overall everything was delightful but server was pushy with tip and not honest about gratuity that was included and fabricated that gratuity went to the bartender. I played his game as I will not be returning again after spending over $300. The owner was semi apologetic but didn't offer any resolution.“

“Saludas was a really nice restaurant. The ambiance was amazing. Nicely organized. Semi private seating, quiet enough you could carry on conversations. Just perfect for out post grad dinner. Service was awesome. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. She was attentive and polite. Now, let's get to the food. I highly recommend Saludas for any special event.“

“The salad I got was delicious. I chose the Strawberry salad they have and added the salmon to it. Loved the berry dressing. It wasn't too sweet. 3 out of the 5 of us got this same salad and we all loved it! This is a great spot for a business lunch or a fun girl's luncheon.“

“Great surprise. Was looking primarily for food, and found a gem of a bistro bar. Eclectic setting with funky vibe attracting all ages and cultures... quite fun for a date or friend outing. Ordered appetizers mainly... the Brussel Sprouts were so good we ordered another. I was disappointed by the mussels, but could have been a fluke. It's the only reason I didn't give it a 5. My biggest surprise was the Philly sandwich. Growing up in Philly, I can't help to sample out of state versions always disappointed. Goat's with it's namesake cheese was special... it didn't attempt to imitate and created something all their own. If you love steak and melted cheese, go for it. Last but not least was the great service and the amazing menu of cocktails. Will definitely come back. PS: don't come here if you want a big table and a lot of room to spread out... this is quaint, cozy and intimate. Loved it.“

“It's a cool bar/restaurant in an old repurposed building. Dark and rustic on the inside with an interesting menu and their own craft brewed beer. We ate and drank prior to a performance at Drayton Hall and will do so again. Frankly, I can't wait to go back.“

“I have never had anything bad at Rush's. Its just really good comfort food. Chilicheeseburger is wonderful. Beware that they put Lettuce and Tomato on it. I just prefer mayo, onion instead. The place isn't anything fancy but it is a very friendly atmosphere. They also have vinegar on the bar where the napkins and straws are. I mix a little salt and pepper with vinegar and dip my fries in the mixture. Actually it's pretty, pretty good...Parking: Rush's are all over Columbia and Lexington and while they are always busy, there is lots of available parking.“

“I waited a little longer than expected for my food due to a little hiccup in the kitchen but everyone FOH bent over backwards to make it right! My pup and I enjoyed a little more music than planned and loved every minute of it. Visiting a restaurant in Columbia with an engaged team and caring owner was a lovely surprise! The pizza was very homemade and very delicious. Artisanal maybe?“
“Everything I ate was great. Shrimp and grits or some of the best I've ever had. Desserts were very tasty. The macaroni and cheese was to die for and I'm not macaroni and cheese person but I loved it. I don't see how anybody could be disappointed in the food“

“I love their wings and what a friendly neighborhood bar! I took my 82 year old Mom here for a drink and everyone was so accommodating to her. A gentleman got up from the bar and offered her his chair. We really felt welcome. Dave, the owner, is there to be sure everyone is taken care of . Their service is outstanding. Now, for the wings. There are so many different sauce choices and they come out piping hot and crispy, with the perfect amount of sauce. The fries are crispy and seasoned great. Burgers are juicy, flavorful, and delicious. We've been back several times and we'll continue going back.“

“I purchased a mixed basket of liver & gizzards & a large fries. The fries were older than me & I turned 64 a week ago. She should be ashamed of herself. I noticed no one was hardly there and I see why. Oh I called her to complain naturally she wouldn't answer. Byotch charged me $17, that's it for me.“

“Busy Sunday Brunch with Mixed Results -We visited Tazza Kitchen for brunch on Sunday around 1:30 PM. The restaurant was initially busy but cleared out quickly. While we were seated promptly, our server didn't inquire about drinks and seemed more focused on closing up, as they close earlier on Sundays. The breakfast burger was delicious, but the Baja bowl lacked flavor and seasoning. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot our Bloody Mary order. Overall, it seemed like the staff was ready to end their shift. On a positive note, once we were able to get someone's attention, they were happy to help. Salt and pepper shakers were missing from our table, but a staff member readily provided them when requested.“

“Polliwogs in a low-key gem. A local place just off the busy road (Two Notch) full of chain restaurants. I've never had a bad meal here and their Thursday night crab legs (reservation required) are some of the best I've ever had for flavor and how well they're cooked.“
“Hands down the best food I have had in a while! We went here with a group of family. Everyone in the party enjoyed their selection!we all recommend the food here! I had the sliders and truffle fries! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Come with an appetite because the portions are large!most selections can be shared!“
“Located on the horseshoe of UofSC campus McCutchen House was a delight. The model is that the students run the restaurant process. You get an app, soup or salad, an entree and dessert. It was wonderful. I'm gluten free so they recommended what I should have. I couldn't eat everything but at $13 bucks for food and drinks I don't care the price cannot be beat. Because it's student run the opening times are limited and making a reservation is preferred. They don't take cash so walk with your physical cards. I think everyone should visit if they can! And I will return when I can.“

“I would love to give a special s/o to Marco a.k.a Marco Polo, he was hands down the best server I’ve encountered in a while. Although we had a rough time with seating accommodations the managers were very understanding and made sure that my daughter enjoyed her 17th Birthday!! Thanks again for all your helpParking: N/A“
