We got to know our server and we shared a very delicious multi entree meal that filled us and left us with plenty of leftovers. I don't plan to go anywhere else for authentic Indian food. Our waiter was knowledgeable, made great suggestions and checked with us periodically to ensure we had what we needed. The tea is REAL sweet but really good.“

“It had been years since I ate at an Applebee's, but this location has made us recent regulars. We've ordered ToGo through the drive thru 4 times now, and it is EXCELLENT every single time. Order is correct, on time, easy to pick up, and the person working the window (like tonight) is always so friendly. A very easy 5 stars!“

“Visited here yesterday from Charleston. The food was made with love. I got the shrimp pasta 10/10. My boyfriend got the ribeye steak with a side of macaroni and mash potatoes. The only complaint was the mash. The steak was seasoned very well and very tender!!!! The patron flight was definitely not worth the $60. We was better off just buying regular drinks. The live Dj was a vibe but was kind of too loud around the time we were eating dinner. We sat next to each other but it felt like we were yelling over the music to hear each other. Went outside to the patio to finish up our drinks. The bartender was nice. But the heater outside didn’t work because there was no propane so we ended the night a bit early. Overall experience 8/10 and we will definitely visit again when we are in the Columbia area.“

“Lovely place, Wednesdays at Jakes is a must! Fair price great atmosphere and nice people. I just don’t understand why they don’t let more people outside even though there is plenty of space (and they should definitely work on the toilet situation)“

“I only rated a 4 because I didn't actually go in. While waiting for my passengers, however, security checked on me frequently to make sure everything was fine. After checking on me, they ensured my passengers and let them check on me themselves and allowed reentry after a security check and pat down which was greatly appreciated! They only allow members after a certain hour which is great for added security! Definitely recommended as far as going to a safe space. I'll have to check back in if I ever actually enter the building. Oh, parking ? get there early!!“

I wasn’t going to eat but the food looked and smelled so good, I was encouraged to try the soul food buffet. At the Buffet, the chef makes the plate, which I prefer vs everyone touching the utensils. I told the chef just to add a small portion of a couple of items and she said, that’s it. I said yes, I don’t want to waste anything. My GOODNESS! S Bar n grill with “grandmama-like” hospitality and service. The green beans and fried chicken were amazing, my late grandmother, who was an outstanding cook, would approve.I would drive the nearly two hour distance again to experience the vibe and food.To the restaurant owners- keep this formula and the success will follow. “I usually do a much better job taking photos, but since I got this to go I was a little behind. The onion rings were excellent and a good portion! My wrap was tasty, but just a bit soggy even though I ate it right when I got to my destination. The bartender was quick and attentive and got our orders right. I wish I would have been able to dine in because I liked the atmosphere.“

“My husband got nine wings. Five hot and four with a rub that the waitress recommended. He loved the rub better than his hot wings which is all he ever eats. I got the lunch special, salad, individual pizza and drink. The only thing that disappointed me was, there was no onion in the salad but that won't deter us from going back. The food was very good as was the service.“

I definitely got my money's worth and everything tasted great! I ordered thru GrubHub and had it delivered to my job but it was still hot and fresh when it arrived.“
