I paid $8 for a little piece of chocolate pie that looked and tasted like I could have picked it up from a grocery store...and for that price I could have received the whole pie.“

“This bustling little bakery is so cute with a cozy and Parisian vibe. Their desserts are all gorgeous and taste incredible. They had such a wide variety and something for everyone. Their coffee menu was also extensive. We got a Raspberry Love and Ultimate Bon Bon and they were both incredible. The employees were so sweet to us and the service was very quick. Definitely a must stop for dessert lovers. They had tons of French desserts as well as crazy croissants and breads. An incredible little place.“

“This was incredible. We went for date night and I was so impressed. I got the Spicy Strawberry Margarita and my boyfriend got the Coast Crisp and the Marboun Bourarita. We started with the Sweet Onion Hush Puppies and the Crab Cake. Both were absolutely unreal. I liked that the Crab Cake wasn’t too heavy. For our entrees we had the Salmon and the Pan Roasted Shrimp Cavatappi. Unreal. The shrimp gave me goosebumps (see picture). We couldn’t help but get the coastal coconut cake for dessert. It did not disappoint. It was superb. Not too sweet and was light. “We are back in our happy place here in Hilton Head. We decided our first stop would be Reilly’s because we had enjoyed it in the past. We shared a Caesar salad and it was well dressed and very cheesy. I had the shrimp in vodka sauce. The sauce was robust and flavorful. The best part was the shrimp was completely shelled so I was saved from putting my fingers in my meal. Hubby had the fish and chips. A large delicately battered and fried filet was not greasy and very delicious. He tasted mine and I tasted his and we both agreed to return and switch meals. Great service!“

“We were looking somewhere to eat crab legs while we were visiting Hilton Head and the staff at the resort recommended The Crazy Crab. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with great views and they have live music. We got the crab legs pot and they were great. A lot of time when eating crab legs, the shells open easily when they're hot but as they cool, the shells get a little rubbery and harder to open and get the meat out but not the ones we ate at The Crazy Crab. The shells opened easily and the meat came out in one big piece. Everything tasted wonderful and the service was great. The next time we're in Hilton Head, we'll definitely eat there again.“

“This was some of the best food I have had on the island. We sat inside but explored the outdoor part. It was incredibly speedy service and delicious food. They had live music playing and it was the most stunning setting. I got the lobster bisque and jalapeño hush puppies to start. Then had the scallops. They gave me goosebumps they were so tender. They were delicious and served with risotto. Oh and the jalapeño margarita was heavenly. Will definitely be back.Parking: Parking is just out front!“

After having a somewhat negative experience I received a prompt follow-up email from the GM who was sincerely concerned with my visit. She made up for it with a gift card and an apology. “Great place to go and have some low key fun. This place serves great food without the high brow pretentiousness. I had the voodoo pasta and my wife had the catfish. Both were very good but be prepared for large portion size. My only criticisms were the corn bread it was more like cake, not bad just not my favorite. Owner created a great place but wasn't the best at taking the orders.“

“This is beyond and above any bakery on the island! And I have tried them all!! We have stopped here for years! Starting back when they only had one location at Shelter Cove! Never disappointed!This trip we brought back croissants to freeze and for our grands. HHI bakery wrapped up the croissants to freeze/cook when we got home, included instructions and gave us an ice pack for the travel. Grands loved theirs as did we. And we have 4 waiting in the freezer. In addition, we grabbed some fantastic desserts like salted caramel and the Chocolate Bon Bon.If I had one suggestion, it would be that they stagger their closed days so that one of the locations is open every day. It is so disappointing when we come for a short visit and can’t visit the bakery!!!Go visit!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed.“

The menu has a nice range of options--at a range of prices (from moderate to expensive)--and all our choices were excellent. “This little gem is just that. Easily missed but highly recommended. Food and margaritas are delicious. Service is good but has changed. Most don't speak English well so you have to repeat your order and ensure its correct on payment. Mine wasnt. They are very strict on alcohol consumption rules despite selling it/carding everyone. Manager watches every move you make if you dine outside. I assume he's worried about you leaving with the drink. This has been consistent x 4 years. So, hope for table inside or just get food to go if that makes you uncomfortable. A bit pricier now for a party of 4 but offer happy hr specials. 4 people cost me $107 with 1 margarita. At least everything is cooked in front of you and fresh off the grill. Overall, I took away a star for the current changes to staff, service and pricing but still a must-go.“

“We came to HHI for vacation and were pleasantly surprised to find this ramen place. Its soup base was thick and flavorful, which says everything about the authenticity of its food. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen, takoyaki, and jinya bun. All were great. The restaurant was fully packed. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. Highly recommended!“

“Awesome local brewery! We had stellar service and delicious beers. We sat at the bar on a rainy day and played the board games they had on-hand. There's an outdoor food truck as well. You place your order with the server, then they text you when the food's ready. Unfortunately, we didn't get the text (likely due to poor service), but staff graciously remade our food so it was nice and hot! Super relaxed vibe with delicious beer and cool merch. “I had intended to go to the Black Marlin, which is a restaurant next-door to Carolina Crab. David the host was most welcoming and sat me at a table. Once I looked at the menu and heard David’s recommendation for the crabcake I decided to stay and I’m sure glad I did. I lucked out with the server— Sam as in Samantha was most accommodating and one of the best servers I’ve ever known.I ordered the she crab soup with Sherry, which was thick creamy and calorie free. Sic. Followed by the duo of crabcake and scallops —both of which were delicious. I highly recommend Carolina Crab to anyone seeking a excellent seafood meal in a casual environment with superb service.“

“I really liked the bar food vibe of this place. We went on a Saturday early evening and our group thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The deviled eggs with 'chicharron' you simply have to try. I had a salad with southern fried chicken breast for protein, simply moist and yet crunchy. Others in the party drooled and ranted about the seafood Mac n cheese with ditalini pasta. So decadent. “Food and service are definitely five stars. Had to give atmosphere a lower ranking because I absolutely got eaten up by the sand fleas here. I stayed a week in Hilton Head with my family and this was the only spot on the island where the sand fleas were really bad. If your planning to visit here gets some Skin So Soft by Avon. I should have brought some. They issued this to us in the Marine Corps just for sand flea protection.“

My drink was syrup (from the outside bar), my husband ordered a shot, but when the bartender seen the drink my husband ordered, he was quick to top him off….. (No Diddy) ? “My sister and I had lunch at Street Meet today for the second time in two weeks. We loved it the first time we got lunch here, but I forgot to leave a review. I would have given our first visit the same outstanding rating as the food and Service were top notch both times. At this visit, my sister ordered the Skinny Bowl with Grilled Vegetables on Spinach and Field Greens with Salmon on top. The salmon was perfectly cooked and she thoroughly enjoyed the bowl. I ordered the "House" Burger. The burger was cooked exactly as I ordered it (Medium) and the Cole Slaw side was very fresh. At our first visit, I ordered the Salmon BLT Wrap with their Soul Sauce. That was one of the best wraps of any kind that I have had. The salmon was perfectly done and the soul sauce was a very nice touch. My sister ordered the Chicken Gyro and was very happy!The service by Danny and his team both visits was attentive, accurate and timely. Was one of the few places still open after dinner. P.S. Must acknowledge that the store is located inside a community (Palmetto Dunes) so there is a gate attendant at entrance.“

“This one is a bit difficult. First, the service was fantastic! Very polite and prompt. The atmosphere was pretty nice, too, especially if you like the beach. But of the four of us who ate together, I was the only one who enjoyed my food. I got the Angus burger with a pickle wedge and chips; it was quite good. My daughter got the avocado BLT and said that the tomato was slimy and the avocado seemed days-old. Neither of my sons seemed overly happy with their meals, either (good thing they chose the place!). On the flip side, we got a house salad with grilled chicken to go for my wife, and she enjoyed it.“

“This is such a great restaurant, bar, and music venue. The live music was phenomenal and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. My wife had blacked mahi tacos and I had the island salad with blacked mahi. Both were amazing— super fresh, expertly prepared, and very nicely seasoned. Ingredient choices were spot-on, from the aioli in my wife’s tacos to the lemon vinaigrette, quality unique Italian cheese, and sunflower seeds in my salad. The house Chardonnay was surprisingly good. Then came desert— key lime pie— which as you can see in the picture had an amazing presentation and tasted as good as it looks. Our server was perfect, we weren’t rushed, the outside seating was beautiful, and everyone that worked there was super friendly. For the quality and experience, pricing was very reasonable. Pretty odd, but not bad. The chicken chimichanga was not what I think of as a chimichanga, but again - it wasn't bad, just ... not really mexican. not sure what to call it.The drinks were good and the atmosphere is great. If you go in looking for good mexican, probably not going to meet your expectations, but if you go in expecting decent food that's ... kind of near mexican with good drinks and guy playing music outside on the patio, you're good to go.“

“The Sandbar! What a great experience. We just finished a Day at Harbor Town watching the 3rd Round of the RBC Heritage, it was a beautiful day, but it was hot - 90 degrees of low country hot! When we departed from the shuttle bus we had hopes of eating somewhere, but had no idea that we could get a table. We pulled up the Sandbar on google and walked straight over. The service was great and they had indoor and outdoor seating. They were well staffed and everyone was welcoming and kind. The orders came out fast and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the fusion of outdoor and indoor and dual bars gave it an extra set of beach panache! If you are looking for a great spot with great food and aura the Sandbar is for you!“

Nice southern feel to the menu and inventory, good people. Love the flavored ice lattes too (personal favorite is the almond joy). Can't go wrong with a trip to C'est Bon, especially if you're already in Sea Pines.“

The servers were friendly, but it did take too long to get our check. They did a good job with drink refills.“
