“Service was good just like the enchiladas and queso. FYI, our party of 2 arrived at 6P on a Friday and waited an hour before being seated (totally reasonable). So be prepared to grab a margarita from the bar and relax on the porch or kill some time wandering the aisles at Terra Toys down the road. We ordered two plates of the Dart Bowl Enchiladas, a small Eldorado queso, and 2 house margaritas for $64.95.“

“We showed up without reservations and opted to wait. We're seated on patio which was fine but noise from the road. The inside is much nicer. The server was very helpful and attentive.Mixed drinks were on the sweeter side.Spring rolls were delicious and fresh.Pad thai was the right level of spicy but noodles a bit overcooked.Overall, would recommend.Parking: Free parking garage across the venue.“

“Walked up to the window and ordered a medium pizza to go. Also ordered beers while we wait. Pizza came out before beers were gone. Pep&mush. Pep was a little spicy, but the pizza was really good. Not greasy. Thin. Perfect for after a night out. Would definitely try again“

“Terry Black's is a must when visiting Austin! Don't be overwhelmed by the long lines, it moves very quickly and is set up cafeteria style which is brilliant for a restaurant that is in such high demand. The brisket was my favorite part of the meal, it's so juicy and tender. I also tried the ribs and they were great. The red labeled sauce was my favorite as well, I regret not buying a bottle to take home with me. I loved the Mac and cheese as well, but my Austin resident friends agreed the green beans were having an off day. They were a bit crunchy and not very flavorful. I know how good they usually are so I won't hold it against them. Can't wait to go back!“

“We sat out on the patio. It's a little bit of a high traffic area, since it's just off the side of the sidewalk. There were also some flies and gnats around, but that's not the restaurant's fault... The food was good. We ordered almost every roll on the menu and several appetizers. The stand outs for us were the chicken karage and the transformer roll.“

“Dang good burgers and especially love the tots. Not a big fan of the onions mixed in with the beef, but I suppose if we asked they could do it without. We never do, tho. Love that they serve Celis White beer. My family always loves coming here, which is great because it's one of my favorite places when I visit Austin.“

“Whew, pricey, but excellent upscale mediterranean. Terrific waitstaff, beautiful dining area. Parking is problematic, but not too difficult. Had the chicken kebabs and lamb/beef kafta. Well cooked and presented -- the lemon/onion beautified basmati was excellent. The sticky date cake is killer good!“

“Honestly wonderful, very tasty. I came because every weekend, the place is packed with Indian and South Asian folks. I've had a little Indian food before, but I'm out of my depth past samosas and chicken tikka masala. Sumit was very friendly and helpful in guiding me to a really terrific dinner! I especially loved the Gobi Manchurian.“

“It was extremely busy when we went, but everyone was still very friendly! The food was AMAZING! Corn fritters were a 10/10, the karaage was amazing, the brisket sandwich with red onions was perfect, and the Kyuri Mule was an awesome take on a Moscow Mule. The pricing was also extremely reasonable (surprisingly so for the quality of the food)! I'll definitely be back and would recommend it as a great place to bring your out of town guests!“

“For our bachelor party in Austin, we decided to switch gears from the traditional Texan BBQ scene and opted for some Japanese cuisine at Uchi. Initially hesitant about finding top-notch sushi in Texas, I was pleasantly surprised by the impeccable quality of fish and craftsmanship on display here. While the prices may lean towards the higher end and the portions are modest (as is customary with fine dining), the food quality and ambiance are truly unbeatable. Our waiter, who was nothing short of exceptional, guided us through the menu with expert recommendations. He even treated us to a delightful surprise--wagyu nigiri (which we devoured and I totally forgot to document)--knowing it was a special occasion for our bachelor party. For larger groups like ours, I highly recommend going the à la carte route rather than opting for omakase. Not only do you get more value for your money, but you also have full control over your dining experience. We indulged in a variety of cuts of fish, unagi nigiri, wagyu nigiri, shishito peppers, salad, and mapo tofu. To cap off our feast, we indulged in some tapioca and candy bar desserts, which we inhaled in record time. In the heart of Texas, Uchi stands as a testament to the diversity and excellence of the Austin dining scene. Try it out - you won't regret it! Tip: I recommend making a reservation before visiting to ensure you secure a spot at this gem of a place.“

“Haven't been here in a few years and the neighborhood has changed. Lots of high-rise skyscrapers surround this great beer garden. Food was still wonderful, beer selection was huge, and outdoor seating always reminds you of Old Austin. Ride a bike or Uber here. There is no parking.“

“I didn't have any expectations coming here, but wow - this place is insanely delicious for modern Caribbean food. Everything that my party ordered was so good. The jerk chicken, was extremely flavorful and it had the right amount of spices. If you like coconut curry, you must try the tilefish! The coconut curry was amazing and the crispy kale added some texture that made it fun to eat. The wild boar was good and the pieces just melted in my mouth. I would've liked the sauce to be a little thicker so I could dip my roti in it. The ceviche was light and flavorful. I love that they had dragonfruit in it. It was a different flavorful profile and I really enjoyed it. The roti was literally the star of the show. Everyone needs to order their own roti because you're not going to want to share it. The parking situation is a bit rough if you don't want to pay for valet. Street parking in that area in general is hard so good luck!“

“A place to find a delicious chicken sandwich—but it’s on a biscuit, so what’s not to love? The fries were also good, so what’s not to love?Well, it’s the small swarm of bees that show up the minute you open the spicy honey dip. Eat at your own risk.“

“Came to Austin on holiday and over 6 days tried all the top rated BBQ stops in Austin - Franklins, Terry Blacks etc....Stiles was by far top of the list! 11/10 in all departments. Met the owner Shane we even showed us round the kitchens and pits.“

“Absolutely love this spot: it's my home away from home and I am here at least 2 times a week. The bartenders are so helpful and lovely, the pizza is great and the vibe cannot be beat. Whether you are stopping in for happy hour, dinner, or a workspace during the day, don't sleep on Pinthouse :)“

“Our first visit but won’t be our last! After a LOT of research we made our way to Interstellar on Sunday. We had read that queues can be long and that sometimes when you get to the front items have run out, so we decided to do the waiting earlier in the day to ensure we were sorted. We arrived at 9am and were first in the line so were able to have some great chats with the staff (in particular how they had weathered the storm the previous night ensuring all smokers were tended to so that we could eat today!).It did not take long for others to arrive and by 11am the queue was LONG and the anticipation was building! Once the doors were opened (by John Bates, no less!), we ordered Half a pound of Brisket, Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly, Half a pound of Pulled Lamb Shoulder, Smoked Scalloped Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Jalapeno Slaw, Banana Pudding and Mexican Chocolate Rice Pudding. From the first bite we knew why this restaurant is currently Texas Monthly’s #2 for the state - it truly is next level! The brisket is amazing and the pork belly bites well, let’s just say I will still be talking about those for some time - they were that memorable!! And the sides and deserts were also in a class of their own. In particular, the potatoes are not what you’d expect at a standard barbecue joint, they were creamy and seriously so delicious and the Banana Pudding - I just wished we’d ordered two so I had even more to take home!Whilst we were eating we were visited by the man himself, John Bates, and he genuinely was interested in how we liked our meal and also discussed our travels. I thought it was a nice touch that he said hi to all his customers and took time out of his day to do so.With very full bellies and our leftovers packed up, we left having absolutely no doubt that we will return one day - although I expect the lines will be even longer next time!“

“The line out door at 10 was a good sign. We were lucky we got seated right away at the bar. But recommend getting there early so you don't wait too long. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The food was unique and tasted delicious. Highly recommend this location !!“

“This was a suggested location by the local bomb squad and man was it the BOMB! Great set up and outside atmosphere. The owner/operators were fantastic, happy to see us and offer opinions for 1st timers. “This place is now my favorite spot in all of Austin! The food was incredible; we had the horseradish salmon and the buffalo Salisbury steak, and would highly recommend. Not to mention the free popcorn. Our server, Jamie, was absolutely perfect; our needs were anticipated before we could even ask, and our interactions were efficient, personable, and enjoyable. 6/5“

“My husband and I placed a pick up order for some breakfast tacos and not only were they crazy efficient (ready in 15 minutes), they were also so nice, and everything was packaged very nicely. My only complaint is that they forgot chips for our salsa and queso. Food: The bean and cheese taco was my favorite by far. I know it's simple but it's a classic for a reason and they've perfected it. The salsa was also amazing. You can tell it's fresh. Parking: Small parking lot and street parking nearby.“

“Saw this place walking by while day drinking on SoCo. We spotted the bar and went in. Our bartender Sydney was incredible. She made us very good drinks and was amazing company. She was working harder than anyone I’ve seen making all drinks in the bar. Without Sydney our experience would have been diminished.“

“Where to begin with this bastion of pie. You can not go wrong with any of the specialty pies, the honey pear with its sweet and savory pairing of pears plus prosciutto, topping it with a drizzle of honey To the shroomin goat with goat cheese, mushrooms and garlic. The pairings might sound like they don't work but they are all delicious. If you're not feeling so adventurous they have classics such as pepperoni and basil or margherita All New York style thin with the best crust in the game. Then you get to the vast selection of beers they brew themselves and plenty of other locals they sell. If you're feeling an ipa the electric jellyfish is a hazy, hoppy glass of goodness. If you're not feeling an ipa they have many styles to satisfy your thirst. The staff is friendly if not rushed sometimes since it's a popular spot and it is more often packed out. Inside is communal bench seating if that's your thing and you want to be a social butterfly, who knows you might just find a best friend or the love of your life over a slice of pie and a cold beer.“

“We ran over to Leroy and Lewis at 11am after Franklins sold out before even opening. The line was out the door, but just barely. Within 15 minutes, it was wrapping around the corner! Someone frequently came down the line with menus, water, and to take drink orders. By 12:30, we had our food and easily snatched a table outside. They only have brisket on Saturdays so we got the sliced beef (+ extra) and beef barbacoa (Sunday special) with the Kale Caesar Slaw and pork hash and rice. The pork was not what I was expecting and not my style, but my husband enjoyed it. The slaw was very good! We loved the sliced beef - it's one cut below brisket so it doesn't fall apart, but is still super tender. The barbacoa was good, but we wouldn't order it again. We also got the L&L burger and it was fabulous with an amazing pepper crust.Probably my favorite part about this place (aside from the wonderful service) is that they source their meats locally ❤️“

“Firstly, I want to talk about the idea and concept of this restaurant. Vegan mexican food!! Omg so so good.I got the vegan birria taco. It’s my first ever time trying the birria taco concept as I don’t consume beef. I have to say the food was really really good! The only thing I wish though is if the meat was well seasoned it would be TOP NOTCH!I would definitely come here again!“

“The food was amazing. You're served with chips and salsa when you get seated. The food wait time was great for it to be so packed. I had the Beef Fajita with double rice and queso, and my bro had the Chicken Fajita salad. There's not a lot of parking, and the inside is very compacted. If you're a person that's uncomfortable being shoulder to shoulder, with in arms reach to someone you're not eating with, then you might wanna order yours to go. It's definitely time for them to get a bigger space and another location. However, you won't be disappointed with the food which I was there for. Authentic Mexican food frfr. I'll definitely be back. It's so much on the menu I wanna try and you will too. Check out, Juan in a Million, if you're pass through.“

“I am unsure as to a review of Qi as a vegan. Nothing is marked vegan on the menu, although our waitress said there were a few things that could be made vegan. We were told the fried & steamed dumplings, scallion pancake, and tofu/rice dish were all vegan, but Im just not sure as our waitress seemed a bit confused at times would really be nice to mark items as vegan on the menu, especially for allergy sensitivities. I did think everything was delicious though and very creative.“

“Great news location with very clean, well decorated, comfortable and pleasant dining room! The Pho was great! I travel around the United States always looking for a tasty bowl of Pho and this is one of the best in Austin!Very light and aromatic traditional broth that was great until the last drop! You can upgrade your bowl to an extra large size for only $2.50, great for sharing. The Banh mi has wonderful toasted bread and was the perfect size with the perfect amount of meat and filling. There was at least 10 staff members working to keep the food flying out of the kitchen. They also offer scissors for parents with children to cut their noodles which I found adorable. They also have highchairs for your children. On top of that they serve bottles (instead of cups) of water at the table no extra chargeI will certainly come back again.PRO TIP: If you plan to visit on the weekend, get there as soon as they open at 10am. There was already a wait at 10:30 but service moves fast and they can swipe your credit card right at the table(The dining room photo was taken at 10:45am on a Sunday Morning)Kid-friendliness: High chairs and scissors for parents to cut the noodles.“

“I like it when the menu is simple, contains a few things, and it is done quickly and well. Sitting outside is the only down side, but the burgers are delicious. “Stopped by here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. The lady that took the order was very friendly. Only waited for about 10 minutes and our order came out. We ordered 3 slices of pizza and an ice tea. The price was $21 with tip. And I'll tell you-it was more than worth it. To begin with the slices are HUGE! And the crust is so crispy. They had tables set up in the shade which was really nice considering it was a little warm outside when we visited. On a side note- this was the only pizza that didn't give my husband heartburn“

“Seriously the best subs I've found in Austin! We ordered the turkey sub and Italian sub and both were so good it's hard to say what the favorite was. I actually love that the Italian comes with mayo not oil/vinegar. The lettuce is shred so thinly as it should be. The bread has a slight crisp and wasn't too bready at all. Perfection! The pizzas pretty good too.“

“I can't believe it's taken me 10 years to finally visit this much raved about restaurant -- in my defense, I had a lot going on. In any event, I plan to rectify my absence a lot more in the future. This dining experience is every bit worth the hype, and then some.
