Looks like a tiny house from the road, but the back half of this little country chic gem opens into a large patio filled with sitting under or out of the sun. The wine is delicious, and the owner is friendly. If you are looking to explore the Texas hill country, Joanne Marie and Me is a MUST. This place is meant to be savored not rushed. Last time, I was here they had a live band; yesterday, they had a great 80s playlist.”

“I've now been here 3 times in the past 2 weeks so figured it was time to post a review. I took some pictures during my first visit which I'd shared with family. So far I've tried dishes with 3 of their proteins: asada in a classic burrito, pastor in a taco with cilantro & onions, and amazing carnitas for lunch today on a carnitas plate with rice, beans, & pico de gallo. All were very tasty and tasted like they were served hot off the flat top. Also haf a chile relleno lunch plate which was excellent, coated in egg batter and filled with white gooey cheese and ground beef. Their refried beans are great as is their rice. Chips and salsa are complementary. The table salsa is very good, a bion the mild side. They also have red & green hot sauces which are exactly as they should be: hot! Hint: add a little of the red hot sauce to the sauce for the chips. It really wakes it up.”

“In town visiting family and wanted to support a local spot rather than a chain. DEFINITELY glad we did!! Beyond the atmosphere and cuteness of the space, the notes of flavor in the coffee are unique and worth stopping in. It’s not a “cookie-cutter” cup of coffee… it’s a treat. They also have some uniquely beautiful tea kettles, tea cups and a few other things. Give them a try!!!”

“Chris and Miranda make a great team. They served us the holy trinity of meats along with some great tasting sides. The location is great with a nice view of the dam. Brisket was tender along with the pork ribs. Their sauce has a nice tangy flavor that adds to the meat. The snap on the sausage was great and the had a great flavor profile. There is no beer or wine but you can byob. Thanks again Chris and Mirando.”

“Has been my place for like 7 years now! I don’t get to go as often as I want, but every time I go it’s a chill environment with great bartenders, friendly customers, awesome games and music. Also amazing live bands! 10000/10 recommend!”

Garden center is beautiful and inspiring with many fascinating design details - chicken coops were unreal!
