The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.“

“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“

“I've been here dozens of times and it's always top notch. The space is open and friendly, bright and cozy. Love the mismatched sofas and chairs and high industrial ceilings. It's great for meetings, working by yourself, or catching up with friends. The drinks are always delicious and high quality crafted by skilled and friendly baristas. The banana bread is reaaaallly good, especially if you ask for it to be warmed. You can also pick up some vegan breakfast tacos from La Plantaqueria on certain days while they last!“

“Each time I have gone here, the service was excellent. What made this even more 5 stars was that this location donated Playa Bowls to my school for teachers during teacher appreciation week. They were delicious! It came to us as a catering/buffet style with all that we need. Would be great for a party or to treat a group! They gained many new customers today!“

It has a rich, umami flavor and the mashed potatoes were incredibly crispy and good. “Me and my partner first came in when we saw stuff about their coffee flights and interesting flavors. We tried them and had the baristas make us whatever drinks they thought were going to be good. All of the staff are super friendly and work hard to make sure each customer is cared for. They all know my order as soon as I pull up! I had my 2 yr old with me as my husband was talking with him but he made a point to talk to my son and interact with him while he was playing with their connect four game. Most employees just ignore us and only talk to the parent that's not holding the child.“

“I am a big craft beer fanatic and a bit of a snob. I make it a point to visit as many craft breweries everywhere I go. I've been to breweries in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, and Maryland. This is definitely a solid brewery. Nice beer selection, excellent service and friendly people. My only complaint was that they don't offer beer flights! This is the only craft brewery with this many beers to choose from that I've been to that doesn't offer flights. If I were a local, I would certainly make this place a regular to visit.“
