“I had the honor of being the second customer since they opened under new management and they are EVEN BETTER than before! The staff/owner are super friendly and caring, they are cleaning the place up very nice and the food is to die for! I wish I would have gotten a picture for you of my plate (CO3) before I devoured it but trust me… the pork was tender and the sauces, pork, and fried rice were all well seasoned. Can’t wait to come back and try the Boba Teas, which will have fresh fruit in it now! “CLEAN! BRAND NEW INTERIORS! Without a doubt this is the best Asian food in the Woodlands area. I'm part Asian and this is the best Asian food I have had in a while. Great well-rounded Asian menu and everything tasted awesome. I don't know whose Asian Grandmother they have tied up in the kitchen, but I sure do hope they don't let her go. No kidding, we'll be back next week.“

“This is my go to sushi place. Every time I order a pick- up order, it is always ready by the time I get there. The sushi is very fresh and always delicious. My favorites are Tiger- Eye Roll and Orange Dragon Roll. It was my first time dining in last night with my family and it was amazing. Micheal our server was attentive and had a bubbly personality. He was always there with a new drink refill. This was surprisingly for me, because I drink my sodas very fast. We got a couple of dishes and all of them were amazing and were not greasy. Will definitely come back to dine in and will always come back for pick up orders.“

“My family & I went to dinner at Asian & Mini’s Seafood tonight. The name itself was intriguing and it’s hidden in the corner of a shopping center off Telge (near Jarvis). Stop by & eat to satiate your curiosity. We were greeted & seated right away by the friendly owner himself, Mr. Kim. He & his wife are from Cambodia and they work at the restaurant 7 days/week - 12 hours/day. Their two kids come after school and help out at the restaurant on weekdays & all day on the weekends. We all know the restaurant industry is brutal, exhausting and it takes a toll on families, but Mr. Kim always keeps a smile on his face and he always treats his customers like gold. Tonight, we ordered fried okra, egg rolls, fried fish & shrimp, grilled salmon and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious & tasty! Each plate came out steaming hot and fresh. The breading was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. You can taste that the fish was very fresh - it was the best grilled salmon we’ve tasted. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the prices were. Our entire family ate for $50 total! We came late in the evening and there were several tables full in the dining room and it was refreshing to know that tons of people ordered take out. Next time you’re in the area and you want delicious fresh seafood, swing by Asian & Mini’s and you’ll discover a hidden gem in Cypress. You’ll also be supporting a small, local family who works tirelessly and endlessly in a vicious and unforgiving industry. Come give them a try, you’ll love them!“

“We visited the week they were first open . It was good but you could tell that everyone was new and things were just so so .We went again tonight and say at the sushi bar. The sashimi we had was salmon , tuna , and peppered tuna . All of them were excellent .Other things*Fresh wasabi* 3 kinds of white wine*Edamame ( we had the spicy which was not *spicy at all but it was still quite good )*Chicken fried rice I wouldn’t order again . It was just to salty and soaked in chicken broth .We will go back !“

The prices are a little higher than some of the other Thai restaurants in the area, but that’s because the food preparation and ambience is up a few notches from the other Thai restaurants in the area. Came here with my lady a couple of days ago and thought we would give it a try. We were very pleased with our food, and the staff are very attentive. We will be back.“

“Maybe we're boring people, or maybe we just know a good thing when we find it. Every time we have a date night we choose Umami. I love this place, I love Eddie and his family, I love that atmosphere and the food and the early menu! My husband and I will occasionally contemplate trying another place, and then just forget it and go to Umami because we love it so much. Our son and daughter have chosen to have their birthday dinners here because of how much we rave about this place. It's a gem!“
