“The food is excellent. It's helpful to have patience and the wait is long. The cashier and ones handing us the food were super nice and courteous.There is no selection for mushrooms suggestion, let me tell you they are delicious! We ordered 5Lbs of crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausage, and mushrooms. We added a pound of shrimp and sodas.It's outside. I have 4 stars for atmosphere because even though it's outside people will smoke no matter where they sit. There should be smoking signs. My daughter and I had to inhale this man's smoke while we were eating. We are outside but his smoke directed at us the entire time.“

“Went to Little Woodrows off of 249 and Gloria Mae's had a food truck set up there. Staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. I ended. Up ordering the spicy chicken strip dinner with toast and okra. It took about 15 minutes for my food to be ready and it was worth the little wait. The spicy chicken strips had a nice little kick to them and their dipping sauce was a perfect compliment! The toast was nice and buttery and the fried okra was some of the best I have ever had! Highly recommend Gloria Mae's if you're looking for some southern fried goodness!“

“This was our first time here, and we will definitely be back. It wasn't too crowded yet, and the lighting was perfect..not too bright, but not too dark. We came Saturday, April 20th around 4:30pm. Our server was Megan, and she was AWESOME! She stayed on top of everything and was very friendly. Our drinks were never empty and we never needed to ask for anything. The food came out hot and full of flavor. We were all very impressed.“

“So I've seen these restaurants here and there since moving to the Houston area from Baton Rouge in 2018, and my barber told me they were really good. I finally gave them a try May 18, 2021 and I was very satisfied. Rather than fried chicken, I tried the two piece fish with mashed potatoes (no gravy). Basically, it tasted like TeTe Kim's soul food; you know those ladies soliciting to-go plates at the barbershop--like, what she's doing is hella illegal, but everybody flocks to her? That's this: EXTREMELY good. So my order included to pieces of catfish, a cup of mashed red potatoes WITH skins and a roll, piping hot, all for $7.57 including tax. The roll was definitely a generic roll, and the fish frozen. Like I said, the food reminds you of solicited to-go plates. And it was so, so good, in my opinion, definitely a nice lunch spot. So I'll be back there to try some shrimp and eventually some wings.“

The atmosphere is very sexy & welcoming & the hostesses were beautiful and friendly. While sitting at the bar like the bar princess I am, I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Roberto the handsome refined bartender. He was the added bonus we needed to end our night. Now, this visit's meals consisted of a bunch of fried items that needed a bit more seasoning. With that being said, the fried pickles were DELICIOUS! The fried mushrooms were ok. We love fried mushrooms, but these didn't have a lot of flavor. Now the brisket Mac n cheese bites, unfortunately, fell SHORT... ? they were an unpleasant surprise. NO flavor at all. The Pontchartrain dish was ok, just my opinion. I was not mesmerized by the flavor of this dish. The Cajun feast looks delicious but also lacks flavor. The flaming hot Cheeto chicken tenders looked just like the plain chicken tenders. I know because the 2 guests who ordered them sat next to each other. The point is, there was barely any flaming hot Cheeto. My seafood platter was ok. I absolutely LOVED the fried fish on the platter! It was delicious and very crunchy, the shrimp were good, and the fried crawfish tails needed more seasoning in the batter.“

“Willie’s is worth a visit. They have really good food. The fried shrimp was excellent. And many people recommend this place. Catfish can be a little hit or miss and it was just decent tonight, but just because it didn’t wow me doesn’t mean I wasn’t impressed with Willie’s.“

The chef was friendly and the portions are huge. Not many people. The "Hostess" did not want to seat me. I looked around the empty restaurant and asked why she would not seat me and told me the wait would be 20 minutes. I called the manager. And he gave me an excuse that they were short in personnel and I have to wait, instead of seating us and committing to provide a good positive experience regardless as they have always done it. My positive experience has not been the same and they keep raising their prices to a point that it’s ridiculous high. Lunch for three people, a beef quesadilla, two tacos, a small tortilla soup, water and two drinks $40 per person? Something in their management has changed.“

“We had my bday dinner there and my son in law wanted crab legs but was worried bc he is allergic to only shrimp. He ordered crab legs and the manager came to our table and said they would separately boil his order so that it was not cooked in the same water as shrimp. “My family & I went to dinner at Asian & Mini’s Seafood tonight. The name itself was intriguing and it’s hidden in the corner of a shopping center off Telge (near Jarvis). Stop by & eat to satiate your curiosity. We were greeted & seated right away by the friendly owner himself, Mr. Kim. He & his wife are from Cambodia and they work at the restaurant 7 days/week - 12 hours/day. Their two kids come after school and help out at the restaurant on weekdays & all day on the weekends. We all know the restaurant industry is brutal, exhausting and it takes a toll on families, but Mr. Kim always keeps a smile on his face and he always treats his customers like gold. Tonight, we ordered fried okra, egg rolls, fried fish & shrimp, grilled salmon and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious & tasty! Each plate came out steaming hot and fresh. The breading was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. You can taste that the fish was very fresh - it was the best grilled salmon we’ve tasted. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the prices were. Our entire family ate for $50 total! We came late in the evening and there were several tables full in the dining room and it was refreshing to know that tons of people ordered take out. Next time you’re in the area and you want delicious fresh seafood, swing by Asian & Mini’s and you’ll discover a hidden gem in Cypress. You’ll also be supporting a small, local family who works tirelessly and endlessly in a vicious and unforgiving industry. Come give them a try, you’ll love them!“

“The service was fantastic! The place has a great ambiance, we sat on the patio and met a beautiful little cat named Estrella. We ordered two Shaggy Dogs ($16 each) - they were great! We also got the Spicy Shrimp and Chicken Pasta($16), the 8 piece fried shrimp($18) w/ fries and kids shrimp w/ fries($10). Although they were all generous servings, we were expecting them to be a bit more flavorful.“

I'm generally not a fan of Pho, but theirs was amazing. The brisket fried rice easily one of the best friend rices I've ever had....... in general all the food we ordered was really very good! The only thing that put me off was the attitude of the waitress who not only behaved like it was a bit of a hassle attending to us - and the very few tables that were occupied - but she literally behaved like she was an owner of the restaurant. At one point I in fact even asked her casually if she was an owner of the restaurant (she wasn't!). Bottomline - this restaurant would do a LOT better if it was in a better location and had more better staff. Many other restaurants have come and gone in this location. As the old adage goes, in the restaurant business, it's all about location, location, location!“
