“Haidilao lives up to its name in terms of service, quality and of course amusement. We went with the whole family close to opening time and got in without a wait. Ordering was a breeze on their tablet, and items came out almost instantaneously-- before some of us even had a chance to make our dipping sauces! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We used the English version of some of the "secret phrases" for some goodies. If you're wondering, they do do the ke mu san dance that's gone viral on TikTok. In terms of food-- everything was excellent, from the side dishes to the hot pot items. Presentation was always stellar, especially the "dancing noodles" XD The one thing I wouldn't bother with are the dessert mousses-- they came frozen and stayed that way for a good 20min, and don't have much flavor and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. Then again-- you probably didn't come to Haidilao for dessert.“

“For our drive back to San Antonio, Katy was a stopping point for lunch so we thought to try Hubby had seen this restaurant and chef featured by Tanji Patton. We realized after coming home that during our first visit, they were closed for the celebration of life of Chef Alex Au-Yeung, who passed away recently from a battle with cancer. We had long visited Banana Leaf, a restaurant in Houston Chinatown and another restaurant he owned. Hubby had Prickly Pear & Melon drink and I had Pineapple Ginger drink. Dad didn't care for either one. I was excited to see Roti Canai on the menu. I had not had that since my backpacking days in Malaysia. So so good! We had the Award Winning Kerabu Prawn, which was tasty. We then shared the Beef Hor Fun and Billionaire Fried Rice. Everything was fantastic! No wonder the chef was 2022 James Beard semi-finalist for Texas's Best Chef Award.“

“We had great service here, our waitress Rosa was very helpful with the menu and very friendly. Made us feel like we were at our family house. Food was served in a timely manner and Hot. “The best restaurant I have eaten in in years, I came to Houston on vacation and I can assure you that there is no restaurant in Miami that surpasses this one. We were assisted by a girl named Xitlaly, who was very friendly, professional and attentive. “It is one of the best Gumbos and beer micheladas in town. I love that everything is very fresh, it's because their menu is not that big so it's constantly cooking fresh. When I go there, I start with a pacifico michelada and add a boiled shrimp in the glass, then I order a bowl of Gumbo and 6 half shell oysters I finish with a texas mini or catfish fillets. I recommend this place for drinking beer and eating Gumbo and Oysters.“

“Me and my wife walked into the establishment and we loved the vibe the restaurant was given. Very ambient and relaxing, a good place to talk. We went ahead and sat at the bar and through the whole night we experienced amazing service from the bartender Emiliano. We couldn’t have asked for better service as he was very attentive with anything we needed. The food was nice, hot and tasted amazing. Danny the Owner was also around and he came and talked to us and we couldn’t be happier with this establishment. Definitely a 10/10 and we will be coming back frequently.“

“Hands down the BEST crawfish in the Katy, TX area. I had the "house special" sauce and it was just the right amount of spice with great flavor. The size was medium to large and if you buy 5lbs you get 1 free. We also tried the beignets & gumbo which were amazing. I'll definitely be back SOON for more crawfish and to try the other menu items. They should add other hot sauce options like (Louisiana, Crystal or Cholula) and please get some mustard. A for sure MUST have if you eat crawfish. The service could've been better we kept having to ask for refills and it wasn't overly crowded. The food came out fast and the order was correct. The ambiance was very nice, small & quant with a glass kitchen for added viewing for those who like to see their food prepped.“

“Wow - that's the best way to explain the service provided here - They are super friendly to military families here. The owner is very proud of his place and it shows. He is super friendly and very accommodating. The wings were extra crispy and I love love love the Greek style wings. The Greek wings are basically a combination of Lemmon pepper , butter and feta cheese simply wow and unique. Cooked to absolute perfection I asked for extra crispy. Everything was made to order and quick.This place in my opinion is better than pluckers, wingstop, and several other wing places ice tried over 35 years of living here. Highly recommend you all try them out.If you enjoy whole in the wall places that are friendly clean and offer a unique taste try them out for sure!!“

“As the kids say! This place hits !!! I love love love seafood ! Unfortunately my husband doesn’t so when I go it’s a real treat. Lately I’ve just been making my own ceviche and cocktail at home. My friend stayed recommending this place and I finally joined her!!! I’m glad that I did! I got their seafood tower, a Mexican coke, and the shrimp tacos. The seafood tower was delicious!!! It had tons of seafood especially octopus!!! Everything tasted very fresh and clean !!! (Nothing smelled fishy). They offer large variety of different dishes and a small selection of drinks (no alcohol. If you are into Micheladas they offer the mix and you BYOB (bring yo own beer). This is a food truck so need to be dressed fancy. They have plenty of seating (outdoor). It’s a super casual place to go on the weekends with your friends. Go treat yourself!!“

“My wife is a big fan of this spot and she tried a few places around the Katy/Cypress area. I do have to agree on the weight concern of the crawfish. I've weighed my order on a few occasions, I would say 70% of the time it's correct.Hard times man and buying crawfish at $8-9lbs ain't cheap. Especially with the shortage in the crawfish industry.Kid-friendliness: They have a small playground and a lot of space to run around for the kids.“

“Went to this place first time today with my wife and it was really good! My wife got the pork katsu with curry and I got the got katsu ramen. Both were excellent! I really enjoyed my ramen. “Our favorite place! We moved here from an area that had plenty of options before, and it has been a pain point for us to find a decent drive option for good curry. We're so lucky to have such quality food, and so close! You have to try their garlic Naan as well, totally fresh and not that reheated garbage some restaurants try and use. (That was our first sign we were in for a treat, when we ordered it on our first visit!)Now, it's more than just a mood food for us; it's become our go-to restaurant for dine in eating.
