“For our drive back to San Antonio, Katy was a stopping point for lunch so we thought to try Hubby had seen this restaurant and chef featured by Tanji Patton. We realized after coming home that during our first visit, they were closed for the celebration of life of Chef Alex Au-Yeung, who passed away recently from a battle with cancer. We had long visited Banana Leaf, a restaurant in Houston Chinatown and another restaurant he owned. Hubby had Prickly Pear & Melon drink and I had Pineapple Ginger drink. Dad didn't care for either one. I was excited to see Roti Canai on the menu. I had not had that since my backpacking days in Malaysia. So so good! We had the Award Winning Kerabu Prawn, which was tasty. We then shared the Beef Hor Fun and Billionaire Fried Rice. Everything was fantastic! No wonder the chef was 2022 James Beard semi-finalist for Texas's Best Chef Award.”

“I'm usually not a big fan of Korean food but came here yesterday with a couple friends. Was I amazed! For health reasons I cannot eat spicy foods but they had some wonderful dishes that were not spicy but ohhh soooo good. Great lunch menu. Khai was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. He was personable and friendly. I eat out a lot and he was one of the best waiters I have encountered. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are a little hesitant about Korean food, I say.....give this place a try. I don't think you will regret it.”

“This is the top of my list!! I am in love with this place. Even the the top restaurants in NYC beat these guys in terms of the quality of service and the food. Firstly, I admire and appreciate the fact the owner/Chef Lori herself was present there. They had 15-20 mins wait we didn’t mind. They were packed on Saturday but the service was so fast. Starting from the door host explained the process so well and inside we were greeted by Chef Lori and we ordered and sat. We wanted extra bread and they got us couple more bread and they didn’t charge us. We were happy to pay but that isn’t the point. I am not sure if they are Michelin but if they are not they absolutely deserve it!! The food was warm and absolutely yummy and the price was not expensive.”

“Well this is funny. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I walked in to Pucci. I was going with my family to get coffee and ended up at the Gucci version of a Dog shop. It was definitely the vibe of upscale and glamorous. It was very clean and had lots of interesting dog accessories and clothing for sale throughout the cafe. But what was really amazing is the outdoor patio area! That was cool!The staff were kind, courteous, and attentive. They had a decent selection of sweet treats and drinks. I had the matcha latte and cheesecake. Both were good!Maybe I’ll go back even if it’s not my cup of tea.”

“Went on a weekday to grab some dinner, and I was surprised it was pretty empty. Luckily, more customers trickled in because this place was amazing! Service was great; very warm and friendly vibes! Roti canai was very spicy, but it was so good. The chicken satay, roasted Hainanese chicken + rice, and sizzling tofu were delicious. The stir fry flat noodle with chicken is worth trying once. Overall great experience and we'll be back to try other food items!”

“These are the best healthy meals I have ever had. I have done other meal prep services but often got bored due to the selection and bland taste. Every time I pop open one of my Citrus Blue entrees, I am treated to a spectacular meal. It tastes so good, it feels like I'm cheating! “By far, one of my absolute favorite tea/coffee shops. If you live around Cypress/Katy or even further this is a must try. Their milk teas are so fresh and you can actually taste the tea in it. My favorite is the taro milk tea!! They also have great coffee that can be customized however you want. Of course they have a million other great drinks and food. What I also love about Pu’er is their peaceful atmosphere. I love to come here to study and catch up on some work. Try it next!! ?”

“First time visiting this restaurant. We had the spring rolls for an appetizer. We ordered a kids chicken noodle soup, vermicelli bowl ? with pork and beef lemongrass. All the food was good. The service was good. When the waiter brought the bill, he brought us three teaspoons of a dessert similar to creme brulee. Free treat.Most entrees are in the $15 to $20 range.”

“This place has incredible food. It has a huge selection, and it is truly gourmet quality. I got a Curry bowl with brown rice, which is very unique, and it's the best thing I have tasted in about a year. It was so good I made my wife go back again the next day and ate the same thing. We sat outside with our dog although the interior is very warm and welcoming. It's a pretty good looking crowd too. The staff is super friendly and attentive, but not annoying. The place isn't that big inside, although beautifully decorated, so for selfish reasons I hope it doesn't get too too popular. The owner came by our table and we found out that he's going to try to fence in the front sidewalks on the West and South sides, and on the backside he's also going to a have a whole fenced section for outdoor dining. Absolutely one of our favorite spots on the whole West side of town now and you'll be seeing us there often.Vegetarian options: Use tofu as your "protein'" if you want to eat heart healthy.”

“This steakhouse is a diamond in the rough. After traveling in the world and looking for the delicious flavors that we have had in South Africa and various parts of Latin America, we definitely found them here. The African Sampler was perfect because it reminded us of the authentic flavors of Cape Town. The bobotie was perfect and the billtong was actually real and so delicious. We also enjoyed the king clip, the seafood platter, and the Churrasco steak. All of them or magnificent. We all cleaned our plates completely. I will definitely return to this establishment. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and the ambience was like an old NYC restaurant and made us feel super comfortable. The live singer was a nice touch and the patio made us feel like we were not even in the city.”

“The ambiance is very cozy and small almost like a Chinese restaurant when we first enter. I wasn't expecting much from it since we were hungry and didn't want to drive into town to look for good ramen and sushi. I was very surprise that every dish we order was very good. The hot dog has a nice crisps on the skin. I would say is one of the best I had so far. The ramen did not disappoint either. The flavoring was just right not too salty. The sushi rice can be better but the fish quality was good. The service was outstanding. I would definitely come back when I'm too lazy to drive far for good food. Overall experience was great!!”

Had a classic waffle (it was flaccid, yuck), hashbrowns smothered/covered/chunked (with onions cheese & ham) (OK, but thought the texture of the potatoes was oddly pasta-esque), and biscuits & gravy (the best of the bunch, biscuit was warm and pleasant, gravy had good sausage flavor). Coffee was good, unsweet ice tea also good. Server was very nice, and was definitely the best part of the whole experience.”

“Update: you learned from CFA about putting staff out in the drive thru so now learn from them and move the new mobile pick up parking signs for cars to sit and wait to the side spots and not the spots right in front of the main door!!!!! I will still park there, they can find somewhere else to park. If they are too lazy to come in or whatever, they can park farther away. what an inconvenience to your walk in customers!!! And your staff can take the extra steps instead of your customers. Old post: Yum. One of my favorite places to get a quick burger. They have a great salad too. Better than many fast food places. “I have been wanting to try SomiSomi for so long and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. There was a line out of the door but it went pretty quick. They even had shelving to stand by and eat. We got the soft serve cups (milk/ horchata swirl & cookies and cream/ ube swirl) plus two taiyaki (Oreo and Nutella). We absolutely loved it. Probably some of the best ice cream I’ve had in the states. The horchata/milk was top tier, every bite tasted like cinnamon toastcrunch cereal milk! Plus they let you add simple toppings at the end. The taiyaki was everything I was waiting for and I wish we got more. 10/10, 100% recommend!”

We had a happy hour starter before ordering main course and were really impressed with the “taco” particularly the octopus, we have had many octopus over the years but this one was tasty and one of our favorites, also enjoyed the blue fin tuna taco - very fresh and balanced with some avocado and cucumber wrapped in the seafood. We followed with Teishoku ( a tray consisting of a main course and some sides) one was the sashimi (bluefin tuna, yellowtail, Scottish salmon) all high quality fish served with a bowl of soup, a bowl of rice and two veggie sides (seaweed, daikon) but the best was the fresh wasabi which has has much more depth. Our other main course always the House hamburger served on a bed of onions and the same sides (we swapped the rice for a side of Okra) and very thing is presented with attention to detail from the tray to each dish - very pleasing to the eye.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight and will be back.”

“I went to Gringos to order the taquitos. I frequent the Gringos Pearland, Texas City, and sometimes Fuqua (Houston) locations for work. I always substitute for flour tortillas and fajita beef/chicken. This location stated they couldn’t do it and never heard of it and they only had the premade versions. There should be some way that all locations can be informed of the substitutions available. Call the other locations and confirm. They will tell you they do it all the time.”

“Snappy's is not your typical small town diner, as the food is exceptional!Large, thick pieces of bacon, pancakes that cover your whole plate (so you'll have to have a second one (plate).The eggs are real, not some liquid concoction. My Araina loves the grits.The waitresses are exceptional and work together as a team to move things along quickly! They take your order and get your food to you very fast. Place is always packed in the mornings. (Wish they opened at 4:00 a.m.!) Even if there's a long line, it's definitely worth the wait!”

We had a large salad, 2 bottled sodas, no other choices, and 2 lunch sized personal pizza. Total for all was 36$. My mind was blown away but we wanted to see if it was worth it. The salad was okay, nothing to write home about and certainly not worth 9$. The 2 sliced thick pizza came out hot and fresh. It was very good, however it is served steaming hot on a paper plate with a piece of parchment paper. Now as you try to cut or eat the pizza, the paper is coming with it. This was really odd, why put steaming pizza on a piece of paper? This was just odd. All in all, the pizza was good and fresh but I found it a little pricey. The staff was very friendly and nice. I just feel like they need to revamp some of the lunch prices and specials.”

“Got to check out Mazajj Organic Coffee today and it was a pretty nice spot. We ordered a Hazelnut Latte, Sana'ani coffee (medium roast with Cardamom), and Adeni Chai (Yemeni black tea, Cardamom, nutmeg, and milk). For dessert we tried their Pistachio Tres Leches and Honey comb slice, a pastry stuffed with cream cheese. Everything was great! Very nice chill atmosphere for a coffee date or a place to study. Check them out! I'll be back to try their Spinach roll, I love pastries with spinach!”

Definitely ask for the fatty part of the Brisket if ya know anything about meat fat is flavor!! The ribs are fall off the bone and done and smoked right. The jalapeño coleslaw is a must have get a large and the sweet potato cassarole is omg taste amazing!! For desert the peach cobler with cinnamon home made ice cream is the best desert I've ever had!!! So in short UBB is a must stop and eat and try everything you will not be disappointed!!! “Epa Burger was very good! I got the epa burger and it did not disappoint! The flavors were there and it had a ton of meat on the burger. They also had other options, but I tried the tequenos or Venezuelan cheese sticks and it was really good with a lot of cheese if you are into that. I ordered a 25 tender party tray, a gallon of lemonade, and a party tray of fries, and I felt as though they forgot about my order. After waiting 43 minutes inside, I received my order, and the employee behind the counter handed me a free box combo card and said it was from the manager. Although im grateful the manager didn't even acknowledge us. Since we love the food, our issue was resolved as soon as we ate but as stated before the service was no Bueno.”

“this is one of my favorite sweet places in the world. I really enjoy their macaroons and also they have a lot of different sweet options. I have tried some of their cakes before and I’m sure they have drinks as well, but it is kind of expensive, which gets a little frustrating.I would say that I would come here a lot more of the prices were less, but it definitely feels like special occasion kind of treats. And also the people that can afford it probably live near here in Katy so it must be a good location. If you have not tried this place before I definitely recommend you to try it. When we walked in, the first thing you noticed was how clean everything was. We were greeted happily by the young man behind the counter. He asked if it was our first time visiting. We said yes. He proceeded to explain the menu and the current specials. I was taken back by huge slices. We ordered 2 slices and garlic knots to go. I was bety surprised. First, it was a great value second the pizza reminded me of a large New York slice. It's just a little bigger. We will definitely be back. This is a must try. Great topping great pizza .”

Ranking the sides from best to worst would be the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and then lastly the peas. Not saying the peas were not tasty, just a different take on peas. With how flavorful the chicken is, I don't see a point of using their sauces. Overall, meal was great and we will be back in the future.”
