“This area has lots of Asian themed restaurants and tea places. It’s currently under expansion, so the parking lots are full of cars and dust.That aside, the noodles here are pretty good. We had a good time visiting while on way to Houston. Been to this area several times, and always lots of food to eat.Staff is friendly. Service quick.“

“This place was really good! This was my second time eating here and everything was a 5/5. I came in with a party of 7 and was able to place myself on the waitlist through Yelp. We did have to wait for about 30 min when we got there, but that was expected on a Saturday night for 7 people. When we got seated, we were promptly greeted by our server Davis! He was SO helpful and attentive. He helped us with our orders, changed out our waters if we had a problem with it, and helped us in any way he could all with a smile and positive attitude. The ambiance was that of a Japanese style restaurant.“

“For our drive back to San Antonio, Katy was a stopping point for lunch so we thought to try Hubby had seen this restaurant and chef featured by Tanji Patton. We realized after coming home that during our first visit, they were closed for the celebration of life of Chef Alex Au-Yeung, who passed away recently from a battle with cancer. We had long visited Banana Leaf, a restaurant in Houston Chinatown and another restaurant he owned. Hubby had Prickly Pear & Melon drink and I had Pineapple Ginger drink. Dad didn't care for either one. I was excited to see Roti Canai on the menu. I had not had that since my backpacking days in Malaysia. So so good! We had the Award Winning Kerabu Prawn, which was tasty. We then shared the Beef Hor Fun and Billionaire Fried Rice. Everything was fantastic! No wonder the chef was 2022 James Beard semi-finalist for Texas's Best Chef Award.“

My husband ordered the bulgogi and he said it was the best he has ever had. The kimchi was also the best we have sampled. “We really enjoyed our lunch here. It's inside the H Mart food court, and the air conditioning was pretty cold, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. We got the fried squid and the curry cheese donkatsu. Both were excellent. The fried squid had an excellent savory seasoning blend. The curry cheese donkatsu had a perfectly crispy crust, melty mellow cheese, and flavorful curry.“

“Believe the reviews! I never leave restaurant reviews, but felt I had to after our meal. Fantastically well balanced, delicious flavors, friendly staff, and beautiful environment. The wonderfully warm, personable, and welcoming Chef Lori came out and spoke with us multiple times, sharing that she has completely removed wheat flour from the kitchen portion of the restaurant. There is wheat used in the separate bakery portion but she does as much as she can to avoid cross contamination. As someone who cannot eat gluten without very painful consequences, this restaurant was an absolute delight. I was able to pick from nearly everything on the menu, with the very few exceptions being there are no gluten-free bagels and cookie butter must be subbed for Nutella. The fryers are completely gluten free. Highly recommend the Magic Mushroom Benedict! And our son rated the (non GF) liege waffle (cooked on a separate waffle iron).the best he's ever had! The fried chicken portion of chicken and waffles was fantastically seasoned and coated with rice flours, so also GF. Our drinks were wonderful as well. I had something very intensely spiced (in a good way) called mud water, which tasted like a cross between hot chocolate and chai. My husband had a cortado which was also delicious. Absolutely not the kind of high-end food you would ever expect in a strip mall. I know the seating and ordering seems a bit unusual, but it absolutely works. They really have the process down and it goes so smoothly. The hostess documents what your allergies are, and everyone is aware to be sure your food is ordered properly. Our food came much faster than a traditional sit and order restaurant and everyone working there was very friendly. I'm blown away to also see gluten-free cakes and cinnamon rolls on the regular menu. So sad we are coming from out of town or I'd be tempted to eat here every weekend. I can't think of a single thing we didn't enjoy. Highly recommended!!“

“I went to Gringos to order the taquitos. I frequent the Gringos Pearland, Texas City, and sometimes Fuqua (Houston) locations for work. I always substitute for flour tortillas and fajita beef/chicken. This location stated they couldn’t do it and never heard of it and they only had the premade versions. There should be some way that all locations can be informed of the substitutions available. Call the other locations and confirm. They will tell you they do it all the time.“

“By far, one of my absolute favorite tea/coffee shops. If you live around Cypress/Katy or even further this is a must try. Their milk teas are so fresh and you can actually taste the tea in it. My favorite is the taro milk tea!! They also have great coffee that can be customized however you want. Of course they have a million other great drinks and food. What I also love about Pu’er is their peaceful atmosphere. I love to come here to study and catch up on some work. Try it next!! ?“

“I was looking to try something new as I am new to the Katy area. After seeing all the great reviews I had to check it out for myself and I was not let down! The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and feels very intimate. The moment I walked in the door every person I spoke with was friendly and the service was phenomenal. I didn’t catch my server’s name but I think on the receipt it said Mabe. She was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the shumai and 2 sushi rolls. I was not expecting the rolls to be so large! They were delicious and I was stuffed! This is a bit of a higher price point but it was worth every penny! I will be back!“

“Great value for a great pizza. Most places charge you for toppings. Not Crust Pizza. The Build Your Pizza is unlimited toppings for no charge. Their other pizzas are quite creative with their topping combinations. Their Hawaiian pizza adds cranberries and cashews for the win. My whole family enjoys their pizza.“

“We flew into Houston area to drive to San Antonio to chase the total solar eclipse last month. On our drive, we stopped at Adriatic Cafe after refueling at Buc-ee's next door. Wow! We were impressed! The garlic knots were amazing. I hear som many people rave about Olive Garden's breadsticks but I find them just ok. These were so soft and wonderful! I had a sausage pizza which was great! I actually forget what my son and wife had but they loved theirs as well. The dining room was nice. Our server was attentive and our meals arrived in an expected amount of time. I also think the prices were great for what we ordered. I will definitely remember Adriatic Cafe and will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Oh, a funny thing: while we were enjoying our wonderful meal, we noticed a picture on the opposite wall. Our other son had been in Italy for Spring Break and sent us a picture from Cinque Terre a few days prior. As we looked at the picture, we noticed it was the same pic! So cool!“

“This hidden gem has one of the BEST burgers I have ever had in my life! That is no exaggeration. You can order it just how you like it. It is made to order, so no frozen patties and the fries are delish as well. Maybe a little over seasoned, but good. If you haven't already you must try this place out. You will not be disappointed. “I was looking for a new spot for brunch and didn't want to go to the usual places. I found Astor on Yelp and I was sold when I saw the menu included South African, Latin American flavors. My party snd I arrived at 10:30 in a Saturday. There were customers on the patio but we were seated inside immediately. The restaurant is cozy with beautiful pieces of art and quite a wine selection. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs. The mystery mimosa was excellent and although the price for one may seem high, we had additional mimosas for a penny each. The margaritas were excellent; we tried the mango, the strawberry and the peach. The food was deliciously seasoned and freshly prepared. I had the peri peri wings and they are as delicious as pictured on the website. The Belgian waffle was the best I've ever had. My son had the deep fried chicken, which was still steaming when it was brought out. This chicken was not sitting under a heat lamp. The shrimp and grits was a feast for the eyes and palate. Chef Casey came to our table to see how we were doing and walked through the restaurants speaking with customers. In our way out, he thanked us for coming and assured us that as family, we were welcome to return anytime. It is this type of personal touch, in addition to the great food, that will bring me back.“

“It was a new place we found in Katy and has a very nice atmosphere. I like that you can get a gallon if wanted. The staff is very nice and I like that they have mini games you can play while you enjoy your food & drinks. I liked the Pineapple green tea more than my Vietnamese coffee. My Veit coffee wasn’t as strong as I thought it be and tasted abit of chocolate lightly. But overall a great place definitely want to try the food next time we go.“
