“Believe the reviews! I never leave restaurant reviews, but felt I had to after our meal. Fantastically well balanced, delicious flavors, friendly staff, and beautiful environment. The wonderfully warm, personable, and welcoming Chef Lori came out and spoke with us multiple times, sharing that she has completely removed wheat flour from the kitchen portion of the restaurant. There is wheat used in the separate bakery portion but she does as much as she can to avoid cross contamination. As someone who cannot eat gluten without very painful consequences, this restaurant was an absolute delight. I was able to pick from nearly everything on the menu, with the very few exceptions being there are no gluten-free bagels and cookie butter must be subbed for Nutella. The fryers are completely gluten free. Highly recommend the Magic Mushroom Benedict! And our son rated the (non GF) liege waffle (cooked on a separate waffle iron).the best he's ever had! The fried chicken portion of chicken and waffles was fantastically seasoned and coated with rice flours, so also GF. Our drinks were wonderful as well. I had something very intensely spiced (in a good way) called mud water, which tasted like a cross between hot chocolate and chai. My husband had a cortado which was also delicious. Absolutely not the kind of high-end food you would ever expect in a strip mall. I know the seating and ordering seems a bit unusual, but it absolutely works. They really have the process down and it goes so smoothly. The hostess documents what your allergies are, and everyone is aware to be sure your food is ordered properly. Our food came much faster than a traditional sit and order restaurant and everyone working there was very friendly. I'm blown away to also see gluten-free cakes and cinnamon rolls on the regular menu. So sad we are coming from out of town or I'd be tempted to eat here every weekend. I can't think of a single thing we didn't enjoy. Highly recommended!!“

“Snappy's is not your typical small town diner, as the food is exceptional!Large, thick pieces of bacon, pancakes that cover your whole plate (so you'll have to have a second one (plate).The eggs are real, not some liquid concoction. “The wildcatters saloon in Katy is a place I like as one of my favorites because they have the best bands and groups and they have this small and cozy bar and you can dance all you want and they always are ready to ask you what you would like to drink. You can reserve a table most of the time for no fee. People who go there are friendly. The bathrooms are always clean. You can get free water in a cup. They have plenty of parking lot. And it’s a little “speakeasy”. I go there with my friends all the time.“

“Hands down the best BBQ EVER!!!!!!!! Tonight I had the turkey breast and it was the best I have ever had. Amazing flavor and so juicy. The brisket and sausage are my other favorites. The meat falls apart and I can’t say enough about the flavor. Generous portion sizes, I always get a couple of meals out of. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed every minute. Amanda and Uncle Bubba are the nicest people and always make sure their customers are well taken care of and happy. If you haven’t ate here yet please go ASAP. I promise you won’t regret it!!!“

“I was hesitant to go because I never really liked it previously. Had their buffet. I have to say the service was great, the food has improved by leaps and bounds. The food kept coming, they chose the first round then you order as you finish. There was nothing we had that wasn't great. I'm not big on sauce, and they do put a bit more than I usually like on my food, but if you ask them to put it on the side or put less they are extremely accommodating. Someone complained about the 15% service charge - it's a tip to ensure his servers get a tip. I can respect a business owner that wants to take care of their employees. My only complaint would be the water bottles that you get charged for which is not clear unless you ask. But over all it was an exceptional experience. Great food at a reasonable price. $20 everywhere is a dish for one at this point, for the same price you are getting a lot of protein not filler dishes.“

“We have been to this location a number of times and will return. The service is always friendly and mostly prompt. The food is tasty and the bar drinks very good. My only complaint is the same as with many places that serve something like hummus or cheese spread/dip/"fondue" - the amount of bread/pita/whatever that comes with it is ridiculously small. Last night we ordered the goat cheese fondue for our table (there were 4 of us). The amount of cheese was just right to nibble on and have with drinks before ordering our main dishes. However, the dish only came with 4 little slices of bread. So with each person having one piece, we would have to have put a huge heaping blob of cheese on each in to eat all of the cheese with in one round. On the positive, our waiter asked if she could get us more bread - which was nice - but then she only brought 3 pieces rather than one more per person. Come on, bread is cheap. Serve enough to service the dish.“

“While on a small road trip to Katy with the family, we decided that we needed a bite to eat before we took the 2 hour drive home. We came across this restaurant just searching for restaurants nearby us. Every single thing was amazing! Nice sized portions with enough leftover to bring home for dinner. We very rarely ever get dessert at a restaurant, but because of how yummy the lunch was, we decided to go for it and brought home 3 different types of dessert! The service was all around awesome, especially the best waiter ever, Cody! While I wished I lived closer to eat there more often, I am so glad I do not because I would have to buy an entire new larger sized wardrobe! Really truly enjoyed every single thing about our lunch!“

“This is one of the friendliest places I have been to for dessert. When I am in Katy and after a meeting and I need to do some work I grab a piece of pie and sit at a booth. There were only two people in the restaurant, possibly because today was Easter Sunday, which surely contributed to the longer-than-normal wait for the three tables in the restaurant. The hamburgers were delicious, and the pizza received no complaints from my nephews, but the Argentine empanadas were miniature. Despite that, I will return someday when I crave a tasty burger.“
