“Best truck in the entire park. I get the pabellon every time and I’m never disappointedETA: we came recently and while I still crave pabellon on a regular basis the prices have gone up so astronomically that I can’t justify the cost anymore. I swear in the 3 years since I went for the first time it’s gone up $5. I know inflation is rough and I’m not taking off any stars I’m just bummed because this was my fave spot and now I can’t afford it anymore“

“Best Venezuelan cheese empanadas in Houston by far!!!! With a Super crunchy outer layer and smooth creamy inside. filled with enough cheese to make you smile for the entire day. Location is a bit hidden but totally worth the drive. It's my first stop in Houston, coming from the Loussiana ports after working with the oil ships. Long live Maracaibo! ! ! Marcial the owner-manager always with a smile will make you feel you are back at least for a moment in El Zulia. I'm left short! The cheese empanada with garlic sauce…he who knows, knows! I recommend with confidence. Thank you and keep up the good work, may you soon have more branches in Texas. Congratulations…! I'll be back for sure. Note: Fast service. Good price and quality of food. And always clean and tidy. So delicious that I even forgot to take a photo!! LOL“

“I have been coming to BITE AND SAUCE since the first day they opened, I have already tried their entire menu and all the food they sell is very tasty, I always start with TEQUEÑOS (with their respective garlic sauce that is delicious) and then the main dish ?? This time I ordered the SUPER PITA WRAP and more garlic sauce?… For me, coming to BITE AND SAUCE is rediscovering the flavors of the authentic street food that is sold in VENEZUELA, they remind me of those nights when I ate before or after going out to party at any trendy place in the city… Good job, guys ?? (Cristian, Carlitos and Geilor)…. “Maryalice had great customer service. She asked, " If it was my first time coming?" She was so helpful! She recommended chicken empanada and tenquenos potato cheese pastelitos. And maltin drink.Everything was great. My favorite was the empanada! I can't wait to try different flavors. I think I'm in love with Venezuelan food!“

“Absolutely amazing! The food was fresh and tasted out of this world. I got the BBQ burger and the mustard and white sauce mix was delicious and it was my first time trying anything that tasted like it. The service was outstanding and the owner personally came around and took our order and explained the menu.“

“We got their 'Crazy Cow' burger, and me and my husband both agree, easily the best burger we've ever had by a lot. This was definitely made with passion, and it shows well in the flavors. Absolutely fantastic, we will be getting more from them very soon. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.“

“They were about to close after a late day of work they still offer what ever they had for me to buy and I can assure you that everything in the menu is worth trying. A little piece of home away from home. ??????Parking: Behind the shell gas station.“

“We’ve always chosen take-out as the place is always empty. It’s clean and has many tables. Maybe people have not realized they’re open as they’re located at the end of the parking lot.The food is absolutely delicious. Everything we’ve tried so far is sooo good. The arepas and the patacones are our favorite. We’ll definitely keep coming back for more.“

“Pastel Gourmet located on Cypresswood at the intersection of Stuebner Airline, next to the Shell gas station. Pastel Gourmet has been in operation since 2015. But I'm going to tell you that I have been to the Shell gas station and never new that Pastel Gourmet was open. My loss. This is predominantly carryout, with 5-6 small tables. The food offerings are based on Venezuelan basis and flair. Beginning with delicious Arepas with filling choices of ham, cheese, beef, black beans, fried plantains, pulled pork or scrambled eggs. Cornmeal or wheat flour empanadas with the same filling choices. Pastries that are lunch base or with dessert fillings. A nice array of hot or cold coffees are available. Today I ordered the Pabellon Arepas - deep fried cornmeal cake filled with tender shredded beef, sweet fried plantains, black beans and deliciously melted white cheese. This is not a snack, this is a full fledged sandwich- but you will need a fork and knife because these are overfilled. I had the Cafe Marron- a 70% coffee from the "little coffee plant" plus 30% milk based froth. This is a strong, dark coffee. I loved the Cafe Marron.“
“Definitely recommended they come try the food at Chamowes. I live an hour from this position but I love it so much that the trip does not weigh me down at all. From the family in charge of the business, to the food, everything was perfect. Order the steak arepa and cold coffee. My order was delivered quickly and everything was very tasty. You can taste the love that they have for their business in the food and feel it in how they treat their customers. This place is number 1 on my list of hidden treasures in Magnolia ??❤️I definitely recommend you come and try the food at Chamowes. I live about an hour away, but I love this food truck so much that the distance doesn't phase me one bit. Everything was perfect, from the family in charge of the food stand, to the food itself. I ordered the steak arepa and an iced coffee. My order was delivered in a timely manner & the food was full of flavor ?The love that they have for their business is felt in the way that they treat the customers & also one can taste it in their food. This spot is #1 on my list of hidden treasures in Magnolia ??❤️“

“Thanks to reading up on this truck after visiting here during my dogsitting adventures in Spring, I found out it's located in the Gosling Express food truck court. How did I not know the name of the venue but knew what the truck was!? Nevertheless, my friend and I stopped here when he returned when I mentioned the food truck court off Gosling. He had no idea this was less than a mile from his residence and was pleased with all the truck options. We decided on this one since I wanted to taste this the moment I saw it. Yes, it's another Venezuelan food option but the eats just keep kicking with street goodies such as the arepas, empanadas, hot dogs, and burgers. Going a bit light, I went with the mushroom and cheese arepa and a shredded chicken empanada. The arepa had the right texture with the melted cheese and light crisp of the shell. The empanada was alright, similar to other empanadas I've had although I liked the golden brown color. My friend ordered the Pepi Primos sandwich which was stuffed with goodness beef, cheese, cabbage, dressing, onions, etc. A messy sandwich but he scarfed it down. like there was no tomorrow. We can't wait to return and try other items and my friend is glad this is near his location!“

“Excellent EVERYTHING! The exquisite empanadas, the dogfish and shrimp one, not to mention, and the service 20 points, this is how a business should be attended to and not having to travel 45 minutes to eat an empanada makes it more special.“
