“I have been shopping at VT Meat and Seafood Market since they first opened. The selections are always fresh and plentiful. The employees are friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed seeing the business grow and prosper and am glad to be a part of their success.“

“Lovely atmosphere, great location! We got the prix fixe with wine pairing, and appreciated having some options to choose from. I got the lobster creme brulee (a bit unusual but delightful) and my wife got the escargot (best she'd had). The fish was a delight and the moule frite were as expected. Not too notable except the huge portion! Then finished with chocolate mousse and the tarte citrine, which was effectively a lemon square pudding in a jar, which i loved. If we find ourselves in burlington again we will come back here for sure!“

“The food is AMAZING! Hot, fresh seafood. The service was friendly, flexible and fast! The portions are huge! They used gluten free batter for us for the fish and shrimp! The French friend were hand cut and crispy! Delicious!! I will eat here again and again.“

“We were in Burlington for a week and ate here twice. The menu had a large selection of dishes, from your typical curries to momo dumplings and more. Our favorites were the bhindi masala (some of the best we've ever had), momo and the unique coconut chicken curry. prompt, friendly service in a cute restaurant.“

“Crab dip special was fantastic, french onion soup was delicious, braised short rib was tasty. Portions were a little small for the price but the taste is worth the value. (We liked the chocolate mousse too!) Would reccomend! Service was friendly and fun!“

“Wow! We've been loyal Tiny Thai customers for years, but decided to try Suvi's because it's so much closer. The rice is fluffy, the vegetables are cooked perfectly. Very fresh tasting. Love the yellow curry dish, the stir fried chicken with cashews and pad thai are sooo good. And the spring rolls and crab ragoon are just lightly fried. Deelish. Husband wife team are super nice. New favorite place for take out.“

“I’ve ate at Bleu a handful of times and have always had a great meal! I really like their burger, lobster roll, and oysters when they’re on special. The salads are all delicious and the view of Lake Champlain is beautiful. I usually choose Bleu over the neighboring Juniper and Hen of the Wood.“
“food is excellent . service is ok. they are so busy so they can't provide a good service.atmosphere is busy nice class . too loud that you can't hear yourself talking . that could be why service is just ok . I asked for pinto noir she brought me pinto grigio . then she was going to bring me pinto noir and she never did . I reminded her at the end of my meal that I did not get my wine I order and she just dist it off her shoulder with a fake smile and apology . I like to go but I make sure that same waitress won't be handling my drink. food is important but service is very important“

“I rarely give a five star review from my first visit. But based on the crowd, the service and the quality of the food; I think the experience would be the same the next time. Upon entering there were two hostesses, one asked me If I wanted to eat upstairs or downstairs. It was such an odd question to me so I asked the difference. The upstairs is loud, is like a pub, and has casual foods ( like sandwiches and such); the downstairs is the nicer/fancier fare. Downstairs first date, special night, date night; upstairs been dating a month or more, married and have to eat quick for your date, hanging out with friends. Food: 5 stars. I had the New England Clam Chowder and their french dip sandwich. The chowder was the best I have had in a very long time. If I was local, I'd get it on the regular. The sandwich was also really good! This sandwich hits every category for me when rating a sandwich: 1 - the bread, 2 - the quality of the ingredients, 3 - does it stay a sandwich or fall apart into an open faced sandwich. The bread was tender, crispy and resilient; it held the ingredients even after it soaked up the au juis for the next bite. The filling was excellent, the right amount of meat-to-cheese-to-horseradish sauce! The fries were great too! Service: 5 stars. My server was quick, got my order right and was very friendly. The place was completely packed so I was impressed with her efficiency.“

“I’ve only had authentic Mexican food a handful of times, but can say that based on those experiences Casa Real is on target! Great flavor, not too spicy or salty, and enormous portion sizes. We had to wait about 30 mins for a table at 6pm on a Saturday, but the service from the minute we sat down until we left was spectacular. Highly recommend!“

“This is hands down the best seafood restaurant in Chittenden County. They have been around forever because they put out a great FRESH product. My friend was craving a lobster roll. I went with the fish N chips. She said the Lobster was fresh and excellent. I could tell because she ate the whole thing. My meal was very good as well. I highly recommend supporting this restaurant.“

“The lemongrass pork banh mi was delicious - bread was nice and crispy but soft on the inside, meat seasoned and grilled perfectly, and the pickled radish added a crunchy tang that really balanced everything out. All for a great price point! I also got a passion fruit black tea with boba, which was only average. The pearls were unevenly cooked, so some were fine and most were still a bit hard in the middle. The search for great bubble tea in VT continues! All that said, it paired great with the sandwich and my lunch was a very enjoyable experience.“

“We had our first meal here as an engaged couple! Our server did a phenomenal job and made our special evening even more special with how kind she was. In fact everyone in the restaurant was so incredibly kind and helped us celebrate our engagement, which made the entire experience at Shanty on the Shore shine like the diamonds on my fiancée's ring. We had the lobster (lazy man style) with the mac and cheese, clam chowder, and Wild Maine and PEI oysters which were all amazing. The view of Lake Champlain was breathtaking, the food was spectacular, and being able to enjoy the whole experience with my fiancée made this the best experience ever. They also gave us a piece of the key lime pie on the house as a congratulations on our engagement. Honestly, if you are in Burlington and you don't have a meal here, you have done yourself a great disservice. This place is 10/10.“

“It is literally fine dining by the interstate highway. The menu was most excellent. But my party went there on the day of the total eclipse, so the place was full of families with infants ready to go home. I would advise anyone to try it under other conditions.“

“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“
