“Located on a busy highway in a undistinguished strip mall sits a great little bar restaurant. Always busy, but never packed, always warm and welcoming and always personable. Food is good, not great, drink is varied and interesting, but the highlight is always the friendly staff and quick service. Keep your expectations in check and you will never be disappointed. Be ready for a great time. Enjoy.“
“Came here at opening time at 6, but was only able to get in around 6:30 as there is something off with the automatic door's timer. Still the best laundry in. 15 mile radius: spacious, plenty parking, never too busy in the morning, clean restroom.“

“I’m a regular at Barkeaters! It’s a phenomenal restaurant with great friendly staff. I’ve tasted almost everything on their menu and recommend the cheddar fritters, Reuben sandwich, chicken sandwich, and fish and chips!“

“I love this place!! It has an ice cream parlor connected to it!! So it smells amazing together!!!! You walk in and it's a very clean and welcoming atmosphere! Food was amazing and they had plenty of unique options apart from the classics!! Plus a lot of Vermont owned company brands there and promoted!! Definitely recommend if you've never been!!“

“Tried this place on Sunday and the experience was amazing! There was no reservations left so we called when they opened and they told us they have extra spots reserved for walkins at the bar or chefs table. We got a cute little corner area of the bar and it was great! We had the rolls and oysters to start, then I had the scallops and beats for the small dishes and my partner had the swordfish. . The flavour profile of all 3 dishes were soooo good! and we finished off with a soft cheese for desert. We also ordered a smooth red Rioja which just made the night better. Definitely recommend!“

“My son and I ate here Easter night. It was FABULOUS! It had a very cool vibe and the people working there were outstanding, so friendly. Our server, forgot her name (SORRY), was terrific. Great suggestions, attentive but not overly so. The owner Matt was just as nice. Introduced himself, wanted to know how everything was, and thanked us for stopping in. But most importantly - the food and drink. WOW. We were both starving and hadn't eaten all day,so we shared many small plates.....bread, the Basket of French Fries - Melt-em-down, the ham plate, chilled beets and mushroom tartine. All terrific, but we both said the mushroom tartine was our favorite. We ordered potato gnocchi and arctic char for our dinners. Amazing. For the amount of food we ordered, we weren't stuffed, as the portions were just the right size. The arctic char had a maple beurre blanc sauce that was out of this world, so good, I used a spoon to make sure I got every drop! We shared a smallish scoop of pistachio ice cream layered with chocolate chards - just the right size for a sweet bite after dinner. All in all, one of the best restaurants I've been to in while, anywhere, but definitely the best in Burlington. Oh, and the cocktails......divine! Thank you! Can't wait to come back.“

“Food made me giggle it was so good. Super friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall amazing expereince.*First time eating Filipino cuisine.Ordered Vegetable Lumpia to start. Didn't totally blow my mind but it was tasty, I liked the crunch on the outside and the Atchara (the sauce on the side, a pickled papaya) was a refreshing balance. For the meals we shared the Bicol Express and Tapsilog.I tasted the Bicol Express (deep fried pork stew in a coconut milk, shrimp paste and aromatic spices, orderd with white rice) first and was absolutely blown away. I don't normally like shrimp because of the texture but this was excellent because it had the fresh taste of shrimp without the texture, and then it had the sweetness of the coconut and a little kick to it. The pork was perfectly crispy which went well with the wet stew.BUT THEN I TRIED THE TAPSILOG (sweet-salty peppery beef, crunchy garlic rice, and a runny fried egg) And oh damn... immediately made me laugh I was so happy. The beef was tangy, garlicky, rich, addicting. Then the fried egg dripped into the amazingly garlicky rice. The most beautiful flavors blending into one.My friend took the Bicol leftovers but you couldn't pry the Tapsilog leftovers from my posession if you tried.“

“Absolutely a must. If you are looking for a sweet little spot for fantastic comfort food, this is it. The people are so amazing and kind, they help me despite my health/dietary restrictions, this is a breakfast I get excited for. The food is so good, fresh, and the french toast is out-of-this-world fluffy. Looking for a meal made with love, look no further.“

“This is not a deli it's an experience. It is everything that is pure about food and hospitality. OK yes, you will wait sometimes but, what a beautiful gift to sit down in a room full of a lifetime of art, sip a beer and be here now while, waiting for an absolute genius to lovingly prepare a handcrafted masterpiece. You want fast, cheap, and easy? McDonalds would love your business and you would love McDonalds....but for the purists, the artists and the romantics...sit down and breathe it all in and, when your food arrives and the universe kisses you on the cheek like a perfect sunset you'll know you're alive.“

“4. Great cafe with a big menu for breakfast and lunch and lots of amazing looking baked goods. Friendly staff and big open space. The door kept being left open so it was really cold inside. My partner had the breakfast sandwhich which he said was really good but could have benefitted from bacon (not just bacon jam). I had the chickpea salad which was good but there were a number of wilted lettuce pieces which was kind of annoying. They make their chai in-house and it’s great. They only have one alternative milk (oat) and the only option for regular milk is whole milk. They use vegetable oil on their cooktop so not great if you have an allergy to soy.No vegan options in the baked goods section except for the bread which was yummy!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians- not a ton if you’re vegan!“

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. I cannot recommend highly enough. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed!“

“My wife and I have gone to Bluebird multiple times in the past few years. We’ve had very mixed experiences, some great and some not so memorable. However, my wife and I went recently and had the bbq for two. We had the brisket, smoked turkey and smoked chicken. The brisket was juicy, had a great bark and was super tender (best one we ever had). The chicken was unbelievably moist, fall off the bone, and a delicious smokey taste. The turkey was tender and had a great smokey taste. As for the sides we had the Mac and cheese (perfectly cooked, seasoned and creamy), the coleslaw (creamy and fresh), the braised kale (really well cooked down and perfectly seasoned), and the broccoli (was nothing really special and I would opt for a different side next time). Their maple lemonade was refreshing and a little tart and their bbq sauces really complimented all the meats super well.Whereas I would have rated my food a lot lower in other visits, their food today has redeemed itself and I’m confident in recommending bluebird to anyone visiting Burlington (or lives in-town or nearby). My wife also has celiac disease and they made sure to be careful in the kitchen, and brought the Mac and cheese separately to prevent any cross-contamination, which we greatly appreciated.“

“The reviews on this place did not disappoint. Our service was good and the food was delicious. I got the meat skillet and my wife got the vermonter corned beef hash skillet. Mine was excellent and my wife enjoyed hers as well. It's not a super big place and got busy quick but there was no wait to get in when we arrived. Definitely stop to check this place out.“

“My Fiancee and I had lunch here today. We got there at about 11:30 at Union Jacks this place gets to be very busy considering that we were fourth in line. But when we were about to placed our order I saw the line behind us grow to 6-7 people in line. From the counter to the entrance door. So my advice to you all to either get there when they open or call and order ahead. My fiancee had the Fish and Chips along with a large side order of Fried Pickles. I had a Pastrami and Swiss Panini style on jalapeno bread. My side order was a large order of onion rings. We ate our food there and it was brought out to us at our table and you could see the steam coming off our food.I really enjoyed seeing Union Jacks staff knowing their "regulars" of what they want to eat or just seeing on how their well being.Union Jacks has been in the same place for the last 26 years and still going strong!Vegetarian options: The menu at Union Jacks is broken down on their website and also on the menu board at the restaurant.Parking: It's a shared parking along with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: Yes, Union Jacks has a kid friendly menu.Wheelchair accessibility: All of the businesses have wheelchair accessible to their entrances.“

“By walking by I thought this was only a walkup Creemee location because the line was always long. This store has so much more to offer once you step inside! I would recommend anything on the menu with local maple syrup. The staff were friendly thoughtful and helpful. A bonus of great sunset seating here as well!♡“

“We really enjoyed the food. The server was apparently very Burlington and was a bit unpredictable. We were late in the evening diners, which doesn't bode well for downtown Burlington - we had no idea. We enjoyed every minute of our dinner outside, but know for future visits that early is the way to go.“

“We stopped here for dinner and had all around great meals. We had burgers and chicken fingers at our table and they were all good. I had the maple cheddar bacon burger and was not disappointed. The house made chips were really good too. The parking is a little tricky buy manageable. The best part of our dinner was the very friendly and accommodating waitress. She was very friendly and had a great personality for serving people. I'd definitely go and eat here again if we go back to BurlingtonParking: Parking on the side of the building“

“Consistent and reliable comfort food, with Greek options to boot. Competent and friendly staff, and a nice community scene. I’m so glad this gem exists. They also absolutely and deliberately understand gluten-free needs (their baked haddock is a g-f staple of ours).Dietary restrictions: They understand gluten-free. Not a huge list of options, but the staff won’t steer you wrong either.“

“Very recommend !!!!!!I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The burger I ordered was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted—fresh, juicy meat paired with homemade sauces that were absolutely delightful. Even my child ordered the burger twice because it was that good! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for more.“

“I’ve ate at Bleu a handful of times and have always had a great meal! I really like their burger, lobster roll, and oysters when they’re on special. The salads are all delicious and the view of Lake Champlain is beautiful. I usually choose Bleu over the neighboring Juniper and Hen of the Wood.“

“We visited in mid April and called ahead to make sure we could still dine with our dogs after reading they were dog friendly. The hospitality we were met with was exceptional! Deb answered and told us they "would love to have us!" That response made us feel welcome right away before even setting foot in the place. They served us on the patio and brought water out for us and our dogs as well. A lot of other restaurants listed as dog friendly in the area would not serve us stating their patios were not open yet. But the Vermont Pub and Brewery went above and beyond! The burgers and beers we had were delicious! Even though we were the only patrons dining outside the staff checked on us frequently everyone was so friendly! They have a decent selection for gluten free options including beer if that's something you need. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available“

“We enjoyed our dinner at this nice upscale restaurant. The atmo was refined with understated wood interior accent and relaxed lighting. Very nice server, just attentive enough but not intrusive. Meal quality was excellent, portions are modest, so you'll have enough room for dessert. Prices reflect the quality of preparation.“

“Came across this in Burlington next to the lake as we were coming to get beers at Foam Brewers. Deep City is their concept restaurant in the same building, with a bigger food menu. It has some pretty impressive things. A lot of it's meaty but not all of it. There's plenty of plant based choices that replicate the meaty stuff. After seeing this place open we changed plans and went here instead. It's a fancier looking place than the brewery next to it. The prices unfortunately reflect this. It's about $16 for typical items. They got rid of the half portions they had, and now only have the bigger more expensive ones. Boo. There's plenty of plant based options including the Vegan Poutine. Looks a lot like the real item. This instead has cashew squash queso and maitake mushrooms. Good but expensive. This is the only big issue. For sure the food is good. It's just pricy, and they now only have the big portions. These may cost too much, but the good thing is there's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

“We had a great experience at E B Strong's. We lucked out on a busy night that someone didn't show up for their reservation! Sat at a very cozy table and enjoyed 4 delicious courses (soup/salad/entrée/dessert). They had a maple Crème Brûlée... The wait staff was overwhelmingly friendly and added to the all around great experience. Highly recommend!“

“First Yelp review I've written, and it is the easiest five stars I could ever give. I got a turkey BLT with a side of onion rings, and it was HUGE, delicious, and the Korean BBQ sauce I got with it was IMMACULATE. Second, all the workers were SO nice, they got it done fast, and chatted with me throughout the process. A very welcoming, cozy environment where you feel right at home, but here's the kicker: I'm not sure what the name of the program is, something close to suppers for neighbors or along those lines, but they offer the ability to donate to a fund, which allows for people to come in and order food if they are in need and cannot pay, and the fund pays for it. Absolutely marvelous, 100/10, will absolutely be returning and you should definitely try it out“

“Food was delicious!! 10/10. Dined in on a Saturday night, it wasn’t too busy and I appreciated the quietness and the lighting is chef’s kiss. However, the service was seriously lacking idk if it was just our server and they were new, totally could be the case, but they need more training. They didn’t have many answers to basic questions, a few different times they stood there smiling/laughing saying “I don’t know” instead of offering to ask someone else (the kitchen or a manager ?). I literally had to ask THEM to ask someone else multiple times. Kind of strange imo.“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“

“My wife and stopped in for a beer. We are from Oklahoma. They have locally made drafts. My wife had the Mexican Lager and I had the American. Both very good.We tried the chili and the clam chowder. Never thought to put sour cream on chili. It was surprisingly delicious. The clam chowder was tasty. For me, I would of cut the potatoes a little smaller. That goes back to my Momma saying, "You know if I love you or am mad at you by the size of your vegetables." The service was very good. We would definitely stop in again. Probably later today after the museum.“
“The new Arts Riot is vastly improved! Stop in for a fun, unique cocktail, an app (we had delicious fried Artichoke with "fancy yogurt") and pizza. We had a slice of local mushroom pizza and a more traditional pepperoni. Taste buds are dancing! I even ate all my crusts (very unusual for me). So glad we stopped in to check out the new situation. A+. We'll be back.“
