“We’ve been going to this food truck for years now…. We have tried everything on the menu plus lots of specialty made dishes.. I am a very picky eater, I don’t normally try new things, has branched out and have loved everything they have made for me…. You should try their sloppy joes… unique Smokey flavored yumminess… and my current personal favorites are the Pistolette with spicy rice and the Monte Cristo…. They don’t open until 11am but if you love breakfast food, they have made us amazing breakfast sandwiches… If you haven’t tried them, you are truly missing out… They are amazing people, always kind…. We love going there… not to mention the brewery and other food trucks near them, it’s an all around great place to go.“

“I was there Friday night for my anniversary. One waitress who did well for her situation, she was serving 6 tables. Veggie dip was pureed and disgusting. Shrimp and grits were good but nothing to return for, Linguine dish was mediocre at best. I had a blueberry lemonade that was so sour that I couldn't drink it. I won't be back.“

“First time here. Everything was delicious! But especially the downtown shrimp and grits. I can't wait to come back and try the uptown version. Our server was wonderful and the entire experience was *chef's kiss *! We live an hour and a half away, but I will make the special trip to come back. What a gem!“

“Having already experienced Nola oysters and Cajun food, we were surprised to find a place like that in Portland! But we were happily filled with a variety of oysters and oyster shooters were our favorite! If you want to try oysters I recommend this place!“

“The Chicken and Waffles are fenominal. My husband and I stopped in by chance and I ordered their side of mini sweet potato waffles and they were so good I was chomping at the bit to have them again. We had another flight and we got the chicken and the same amazing waffles. The chicken was fantastic. It was so tender and juicy with incredible flavor. Just the right amount of spice.10 out of 10 highly recommend and I can't wait to eat there again.“

“I'm a few months late writing this review, so it looks like this particular location which was in a cluster of food carts has closed down since. There were some outdoors and indoors tables/benches there if you want to eat at the location.I ordered a gumbo regular with red beans, veg andouille (seemed to be made of baked beans), and Brandon's Nana Pudd'n (banana pudding). I was given an estimate of 5-10 minutes wait but it turned out to be closer to 30, but it seemed like one person was having to take orders and cook at the same time for most of the time before an additional worker showed up and there were some other people ordering around the same time as me since we were all on our lunch break from a conference.Unfortunately, while the food portion was generous for just $10, I found the gumbo to be too salty. I liked the vegetarian andouille, though; the texture actually did taste pretty meat-like, but I think the workers said it was made out of baked beans. The banana pudding was also a very generous portion, and I would recommend it if you have a sweet tooth and like whipped cream and nilla wafers.“

“What can I say that hasn't yet been said in these comments and reviews. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for some time now and it was just the right circumstances to make it a priority. The two ladies working were so friendly and upbeat. The Louisiana BBQ was on point and the portions were INSANE! We spent $80 total and got the BBQ plate which came with 2 pieces of chicken, 2 hot links, I'd say about 1 lb of beef ribs, Mac Cesar salad, corn on the cob, dirty rice, a dessert and a soda . My wife ordered a chicken basket with fried okra and they threw in a desert for her as well. We also ordered the deep fried oreo's. And I also got a chocolate and peanut butter milkshake, best one I've ever had! I strongly recommend this place to any and all of you wondering if you should go. Next time I'm going to try the deep fried pork chop!! Will certainly be back.“
