8 Best Japanese Restaurants near Airdrie

“Just wanted to do a BIG shout out to ZENBU sushi restaurant! My boyfriend and I went there the other weekend while we were in town and they were SO GOOD. Lots of the menu can be made gluten free. You HAVE to state what you want made gluten free so that they know to make the right modifications. They even have gf soy sauce. I would definitely call this place celiac safe as they were very careful. Some of the BEST Sushi I've ever had! We will definitely be going back and I recommend you try it out. My favorite restaurant in Airdie by far!“

“The best bento box lunches we’ve had in a while! Friendly, fast, fresh and top quality, from the roasted brown rice green tea to the flaky tempura, crispy skin salmon teriyaki, perfect sticky rice, overstuffed cali rolls, fresh salad, and mild miso soup. All for under $40 with tax and pot of tea. Inviting environment and soothing music made it easy to linger after our delicious meal. What a pleasure to have Mio in our neighborhood in Airdrie.“

“We come here quite often and the lady who works there regularly is always pleasant. Today though makes me want to leave a review. I came during busy lunchtime. I expected to wait but everything was so fast from taking order to getting my meal. Once everything calmed down, the lady came out to the floor to clean tables, and she asked all customers including me how the meal was :) Who does that at fast food restaurants!! I was so impressed that I had to write a review. The food is edo, but the service is amazing!“

“I just want to thank Kinjo for their exceptional service! We had a little mix app with our order tonight and the management/staff went above and beyond to help! I'm truly grateful, what they didn't know is that it was my 9 year old son's special treat for doing so well in school which he was looking forward to all week so they just made his day (and mine)! “It's unfortunate to see rude comments and hear about bad experiences. Personally, I found this place to be fresh and welcoming. They make everything by hand, and the fridge is always stocked with delicious, ready-to-eat sushi. I loved their Crazy California roll!“

“I had ordered here from skip the dishes and unfortunately the courier threw my food at the cashier and kicked her. The cashier immediately called me and told me to download their app and she will throw in extra food for me for the inconvenience even though it was not her fault. She was the sweetest woman and super thoughtful, and selfless - Even though she was assaulted, she was still more concerned about the customer. She deserves more pay.“

“My Grandson and I and one of his soccer teammates were in Coventry Hills for a game and had no idea where we could stop for lunch, so we stopped at this spot and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. I ordered a Teryaki Chicken dish. My Grandson ordered the Sushi with 2 Sides. The other boy got one of the Yakisoba Noodle Bowls. We all thought that the food was great and the service was very good as well.“
