Reading some of these reviews it’s about time I gave mine. We built a house on the east side in 1989 and the night we moved in we ordered Silver Star Chinese Food. We order the same thing each time ginger beef, lemon Chicken with lemon sauce, salt and pepper shrimp, white rice then usually a green pea noodle dish. Some of the best Chinese food we've had, and with very personable and friendly staff. My favorite dish is the black pepper chicken with mushrooms, which seems to be a house special, I've never seen it anywhere else.
I am so pleased that the buffet at Silver Star is open again. Never Disappoints - good selection. The Satay Chicken skewers are amazing. The staff are very attentive - I'd barely take a mouthful of water when my glass was refilled Buffet times 5:00 - 8:00 on weekends.
