Honestly I used to come here all the time before the name change and owner change and have only come maybe two times after and today was quite unfortunate. I felt so uncomfortable with the staff working, I stood there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged at all and continued to smile and try to not be an annoying customer by hassling them so I waited until someone approached me. I always had amazing experiences here before never making me feel different because of my skin color but today I could tell my service was like this due to my skin color. The people previous to me were acknowledged kindly and treated with great service and I was looked at like they did not want me there. Unfortunately airdrie isn’t what it used to be and the racism has become an all time high but to experience this from staff at a place I used to love coming is unfortunate. I hope you guys can do better and learn that just because I have different skin than you and maybe there’s a lot happening in the world and racism is very prominent against brown people right now does not make ok.

My friend and family went here last night for the 1st time. We were so overwhelmed by the huge selection that we took a long time to decide. But the staff (girl in pink uniform) was very nice and patient with us, she answered our questions and gave some recommendations. My daughter loves her kid vanilla cup, we also enjoy our mixed drinks and ice cream. ? Will be back!?

Pops are delicious! As someone who gets popcorn anywhere I possibly can I was shocked by how this popcorn left both my boyfriend and I so sick. I would go back for the drinks but stay far, far away from the popcorn.

Edited to respond to owner: we are not lactose intolerant. Why would we go for icecream if we were?! We are in our 40s, plus a teenager, so this is not our first time having icecream or dairy products. Your comment is daft.
We wanted to love it so bad we drove from Calgary to try it! The sign on the door said the icecream machine was broken, so our initial thought was "oh no..." After making the drive. They said the machine had just been used a lot that day and that it would probably work now ... It did. I heard the young gals complaining about being at work and one consoling them 'only an hour to go"... Not great to let your customers hear that - are we inconveniencing you? I honestly wondered if they shut down the icecream machine so they didn't need to make any more as they seemed displeased to be there.
We ordered: Fruity cereal, rootbeer & cake batter.
Each of them were bland, not much flavor at all and a horrid aftertaste. We realised after we ordered that they make all the soft serve (and likely everything else!) with Torani syrups which is why they were a little off tasting. Super artificial and had watery aspects to it like it wasn't mixed in properly. None of us finished our icecream, it was that bad. Price: 3 soft serve ice creams = $20 + tip.
We barely made it home before we all needed to use the bathroom! The soft serve gave us soft serve.
What a waste of time & money. If you're in Calgary save your time and hit up a local place like my favorite icecream shop, village or made by Marcus. At least those places don't make you sick immediately after consuming them.

Stopped for the first time tonight…won’t be the last! Had just finished supper so my Daughter & I just had cones…grape & black licorice …sooo much to choose from…the menu is eye popping! The smell of movie popcorn in there…ahhhhh! The shop is immaculately clean, the staff fabulously friendly & professional. Go! And go often!

My second time coming here. The drinks were great and service was too. I just didn't think the cookies were worth it. We got the classic and red velvet. Both were quite dry and crumbled alot. Maybe it's the batch we got.
Very cool flavour combinations. Excellent soft serve. Incredible staff. You might say this place is Over the Top in customer excellence.

We live in SE Calgary but love trying different food places. I had seen Over the Top on fb so on May long we drove out to Airdrie. What a cool place! The menu is huge and I felt like I was walking into a movie theatre. The pocket dog was awesome and so were the milkshakes. Everyone was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try more food!
