AMAZING FOOD!! We ordered the slow cooked lamb and the alberta beef souvlaki and a geek red wine. They also had a live dancing and plate breaking show on Thursday which was super fun! Loved it.

The food was good, but I think it was a bit expensive for the amount of food. The hummus/tzaziki platter was almost CAD 30. It might be a good place for larger groups: long tables and dishes that can be shared. Stay near the front if you want to view the street (particularly nice if it is snowing)

Fantastic experience, from the minute we walked in. We visited Banff for a quick getaway and this restaurant stood out, not just for Banff, but across the board. Our server, Zack, was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. The food was amazing, and priced so affordable, we actually felt like we should’ve paid more, portion and quality were top notch. We will make it a point to come back.

We had dinner at The Balkan restaurant in Banff last week. The food was incredible! Every bite was enjoyable and had great flavour. After a week in Banff eating at several restaurants this was by far the best.
Our server, Carson, was so friendly and able to recommend certain items from the menu to suit what we wanted. He provided some history of the restaurant and which items on the menu had been there since it opened 40 years ago. All the staff was attentive and helpful.
The decor is very comfortable, while we were there, there was a Greek dancer and music performance which just added to the ambience.
We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again! Thank you

This restaurant is a complete money grab. The prices are insanely high for what you get. We ordered just two items (shown in the picture), and the total came to $70—for two sandwiches with a small side salad. And one of the sandwiches had only two tiny pieces of meat inside. Definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend.
We went for Greek night and had the local special. The calamari was not good. The rest of the food was OK at best. Felt pre-prepared. The service was outstanding. Being Greek night they had belly dancing, plate, smashing, and zone dancing, which made the atmosphere a lot of fun. It's a shame about the food, but the service staff were awesome.
