We always come to the Balkan when we visit Banff. And we always try for a Greek night. The food is so delicious and the service is great. My kids had lots of fun dancing and plate smashing too. Highly recommend it for everyone.

+ve's Quality (tasty) food, good portion sizes; friendly, accommodating professional staff; variety of menu options, but not overwhelming; seats near windows, interesting view of busy streets. Areas to work on: Cleanliness of menus (probably due to popularity), prices high, but that's the case everywhere in Banff. A little loud, but again, lots of people due to popularity.

The service is excellent and personal. We had the calamari and souvlaki, both tasty and fresh. The Greek wine recommended by our server was a perfect choice for pairing. We always go to the Balkan when we stay in Banff and have never been disappointed. Make it a must either for lunch or dinner on your visit!

Best Greek food I've had outside of Greece!  Our servers were lovely. The ambiance was really nice. The whole experience was very welcoming and delicious. 
Food was great and we had dinner and a show! Show started at 8:30. Belly dancer performed and involved the audience...some plate breaking too. Opa!

We really appreciated our server, Olivia! She was very attentive and kind. We enjoyed the space for our large party and loved the food. We split a dip duo for the table and were all really impressed by the pistachio hummus and whipped spicy feta. The pita bread was excellent! We also all loved our individual dishes. Our table thought the lamb dishes were well done.
