“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.”

“Brazen should be at the TOP of everyone’s food list in Banff. The atmosphere, wait-staff( Rylee rocked!), and Chef Dan were amazing! The food and drinks were phenomenal and first class. We ate at many restaurants in Banff and none touched the quality and taste of Brazen. We started with drinks of local beers from the rotating tap and the Garden Tea Party cocktail. We then moved on to the food portion of the meal. We had numerous dishes (mushrooms, ribs, potatoes, duck, gnocchi, and the ginger beef) and were pleased with the bold and flavorful taste of them all. We topped off the night with the house special Creme Brûlée and it was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Do yourself a favor and try this excellent restaurant!!”

If you're looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and a touch of magic, this place really delivers. “Stopped by as we were a bit hungry while visiting banff.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were sat right away and placed our order. Sashimi was great and I really liked my unagi nigiri.

Java Lift at Sunshine Lodge is a really nice cafe to grab good coffee and pastries in the morning. They also have a nice small outdoor seating area to enjoy your drink.”

“Great bar! It is the only one up tunnel mountain which is great for anyone who doesn’t want to venture all the way downtown and worry about getting a taxi back later when the buses have stopped. The live music and activities keep it fun, with karaoke being a big hit! It also has Free pool and darts if you want a more chilled night. Decent priced drinks so you don’t break the bank. The staff a fun and friendly too 🙂”

“Hidden gem in Banff!!

One of my favorite spots for breakfast, with an incredible view of Cascade Mountain. The food is just as impressive as the scenery!

Chef Raj absolutely outdid himself with the new summer menu. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

Save yourself from finding a parking in downtown to go to a restaurant and go here instead. Free parking and great food!”

“After a tiring day of hiking in Banff, all of us were hungry and looking for a good place to eat. We headed to Cascade Mall and came across Yan’s Bistro. They offer a great variety of food, and we were happy to give it a try.

I ordered the stir-fried chicken with fried rice, and it was absolutely delicious and savory. The meal was hearty, satisfying, and exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking. I also tried their mango boba, which was a refreshing and delicious treat!

There’s nothing overly fancy about the place, but everything was definitely worth it—from the tasty and generous food to the friendly and attentive staff. The staff were truly top-notch and made the dining experience even better.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Yan’s Bistro. If you’re visiting Banff and looking for a satisfying meal with great service and good value, this place is definitely worth a try.”

I’ve been eating here a while, and I noticing the last couple of times, there’s no vegetables and very little meat in the dish. I’m getting noodles with sauce. It has shrunk to the point that I’m considering not going. I know prices have gone up for business but getting two plates with no broccoli and a couple shreds of cabbage is not OK. Also, the meat has been very tough lately. A couple years ago this place was my fave grab and go in town so I hope they can make a couple of adjustments.”

After hiking almost 30 to 60 minutes to get to the gondola, it was the perfect place to grab a good coffee and some pastry options before heading up on the gondola chair. They had great seating, good coffee, and friendly service.”

“This is the perfect pizza place under very specific circumstances:
1. You'd rather skip Banff but you're hungry and you don't want to brave the Canmore/Louise maze.
2. You just want bread and cheese, pepperoni optional, and the quality is less important than the ease of access.
3. You think having proper Indian (like from India) chai from the hot chocolate machine is a cultural wonder and a delicious way to spend the rest of your drive.
4. You like money and would rather keep it than eat it.

Then this is your spot! You get 15 minutes free parking just to the right of the pumps! Just walk into the gas station side if you want quick access to pizza by the slice, excellent spiced honey tea, and some beautiful brown eyes and friendly smiles.

To be just a bit more clear, I recommend just eating the cheese and toppings off the pizza. Cheers!”

“Oh wow... I was honestly treated so much better here than I was at the keg that I worked for personally back in Calgary. Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically! “I've been going to The Grizzly House for years, and my visit last week reminded me why it's still a favorite for special occasions downtown. We split the exotic meat fondue like always, and the rattlesnake skewer never fails to get a reaction from first timers at the table. The dim lighting and old wood booths give it this cozy, almost cabin-like feel that makes you want to linger over dinner for a couple hours. Our server around 7pm was sharp and funny without being pushy, which made the whole evening feel effortless.”

“Had an incredible experience at Waldhaus. It was the last meal on our trip and exceeded expectations. My wife and I split the steelhead trout, a salad and the flatbread. They were even kind enough to throw on ESPN for a college football game.”

“A very busy McDonald’s in Banff. It was heavily crowded when we visited, with a long lineup and a busy dining area. If you’re stopping here during peak hours or the summer season, expect a wait.

I would recommend ordering through the McDonald’s mobile app in advance and selecting pickup. It can save you quite a bit of time compared with waiting in the regular lineup.”
