“Absolutely recommend this place. We ate there several times during our holiday in Banff. Guys, thank you so much for the delicious, not greasy, not overcooked food, no oil (except for hot dogs, they are for the bravest), very balanced bowls, I was mega pleased that there was the kind of food that I needed. So if you are on pp like me, feel free to go to this place and try different bowls. And of course, every time we took one glass of strange Korean desserts for two, they were all tasty and interesting. Service 5⭐️!!
I'm taking off stars for cleanliness and this does not apply to the employees, but rather to the visitors who cannot take 2 steps to the serving table and clean up after themselves. We had to clean the table ourselves after someone to eat. Be more cultured people. Thanks again to the establishment for being you, don’t give up your position.”

“I recently had the immense pleasure of experiencing the 7 course tasting meal with wine pairings at Eden. It was truly a transcendent experience. This is going to sound hyperbolic, but there is no easy way to describe how thoughtful, elegant, and surprising are all of the ways this team was able to deliver such an amazing sensory experience. Incredible presentation, texture, balance, subtlety. Sublime! Transcendent? Ok, I know, it sounds over the top, but it has to be said. The Sommelier, (I think his name is Robert but I had 7 tastings of wine) is an absolute marvel of knowledge, playfulness and astute storytelling while leading you on a truly singular and expansive tasting experience. And, all of this in an unfussy, warm and fun atmosphere. If you have a chance, go here and experience this! It will be a memory you will want to revisit often. Truly a rare gem.”

“Brazen should be at the TOP of everyone’s food list in Banff. The atmosphere, wait-staff( Rylee rocked!), and Chef Dan were amazing! The food and drinks were phenomenal and first class. We ate at many restaurants in Banff and none touched the quality and taste of Brazen. We started with drinks of local beers from the rotating tap and the Garden Tea Party cocktail. We then moved on to the food portion of the meal. We had numerous dishes (mushrooms, ribs, potatoes, duck, gnocchi, and the ginger beef) and were pleased with the bold and flavorful taste of them all. We topped off the night with the house special Creme Brûlée and it was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Do yourself a favor and try this excellent restaurant!!”

“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.”

And the roasted carrots were simply next level. Coming from a small town where restaurants with this quality of food don't exist, Juniper Bistro was such a treat. “A local we met hiking recommended we try this place and we are glad we did! Excellent views from the bar overlooking the street, glass ceiling up top, super cute decor all make it great. The food though is on another level - beats brewed in house, fall off the bone ribs, excellent wood fired pizza, and the BEST waffle fries I’ve ever had in my life. The service was also a bonus and we really enjoyed the knowledgeable Irish waitress and all her recommendations.”

“Visiting from Texas and stopped by to have lunch with my husband celebrating his birthday. The hotel interior is currently under a renovation . The restaurant was beautiful with spectacular views. Our service was attentive and refreshing. I highly recommend the King Crab Chowder soup! Not only was it delicious, but the presentation was perfect!”

The staff is super kind and attentive we have some weird severe allergies in our party and they went out of their way to check ingredients on everything. Deemed “best cheese pizza ever” by multiple of our crowd (Quattro Formaggi). We got one of each of their desserts - lemon merengue was super rich and tiramisu beignets were perfectly not too sweet and light.

And they played Harry Potter audiobooks in the bathroom so a pretty perfect dining experience.”

“Our tour return was delayed and we missed our reservation time. The Primrose was so understanding and was able to give us a small window to get dinner. The entire staff was so so pleasant and friendly and put us at our ease after a long day. We had a lovely and delicious dinner!”

“We had a simply beautiful visit at La Terrazza another night. If you are looking for a romantic spot for two to celebrate a special event, this is a great consideration. The greenery in the restaurant is rich, the lighting is soft, and the music is tasteful and non-intrusive.

We had a very attentive server with a warm and kind heart by the name of Aleska (I hope I am spelling her name right), she is from the Czech Republic.

The food was very good, classic Italian. Expect medium sized portions and home-made pasta. We were able to share three different dishes (one being a salad) and enjoyed two complimentary buns with maple pumpkin butter and olives. I’m glad to notice that nothing was over salted, which is important to me.”

Super tasty food, cheese and wine boards are on point and the cocktails are brill (the extra dirty martini was ?). The setting was also lovely and our server Kylie was the cherry on top - very friendly and made our visit extra special! Highly recommend!”

Happily answered my questions and when I came back for lunch he remembered how I liked my tea. “Everything is freshly made daily including the bread and English muffins used for breakfast items, to the pastries and chai tea, also serve locally brewed coffee! The breakfast sandwich was such a pleasant surprise, it seemed simple at first glance but what a perfect combination of flavors and whatever seasoning was used blew me away. We also got the avocado toast which was elevated with a poached egg, goat cheese, and balsamic on freshly baked sourdough. The homemade chai tea like the owner’s grandma used to make was amazing. I normally don’t drink chai but loved my husband’s so much I had to get my own cup. It’s just a short drive from downtown, we noticed mainly locals and regulars coming in to this husband and wife owned shop. Update: After trying some other breakfast spots in town, nothing can compete with Bare Bistro so we revisited today getting to try to eggs benedict and omelette, the sauce used for the benedict was amazing (homemade of course). We also tried some of the pastries which were all perfectly baked and delicious. We’ve tried just about everything on the menu and haven’t been disappointed in anything. We will be back tomorrow to finish trying everything (mainly pastries left). Very friendly owners and you can tell they take pride in what they do (as they should). “I can’t say enough good things about Alpha Bistro. We stayed at RMR for a family vacation and went to Alpha Bistro for my wife’s birthday. We were initially somewhat apprehensive because it seemed quiet (off season) but Kelly made us feel so special and really hit the nail on the head. Dinner was phenomenal… we both ordered the steak. It was absolutely delicious and truly exceeded our expectations. Kelly made us laugh more than a dozen times and really made my wife feel special on her big day. We couldn’t be happier with this place. It will be a go-to for us in the future.”

“Bread is good. Been buying at Safeway. I was however surprised and disappointed when I noticed the size of the loaf this morning was much smaller. I looked at the label and saw it has gone down from 850g to 650g (almost a quarter less) for the same price (so 24% price increase).”

Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically! The vibe in the restaurant is nice, and the table service is good as well. The Crawfish Shrimp Étouffée is a little bit spicy (Spicy level 3.5/5), but it still tastes delicious! And the drink is nice too, at first I thought it would be sour, but then it turned out not too sour nor too sweet. The texture of corn bread is soft, not too dry.
If you want to come here as a large group of people (5 person or above), I would recommend you book a table first.”
