“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.“

my one gripe is my cab driver called this place affordable when it’s absolutely not, prices seem to have risen over the years. attached is the new menu prices which has an almost $10 increase compared to the last one i saw on google reviews. but, the burger is worth it and the space is decent.“

“Derrek was our server and I need to mention him first because he made our first visit an amazing one. A server has a huge impact on the overall experience and Derrek was warm, welcoming, attentive, informative (knew the menu well) and had a great sense of humour. “We were there for lunch passing through Banff. We were seated at a table with a fantastic view. The service was very good and the steak frit was excellent. My wife had the beef rib sandwich that also was very good. Quiet in the restaurant, but just visiting the old hotel was worth it.“

“I ordered a lavender honey latte and was patiently waiting at one of the window seats. I noticed one of the baristas make a hot drink and set it at the drink stand. She took the drink ticket and placed it on the metal stick where the finished drink tickets go. She then continued to talk to her coworker. No name was called out and I waited a few minutes until I had to go up myself and look at the drink ticket pile to see if it was my drink. I found this odd because prior drinks the barista would call out the persons name.. other than that the lavender honey latte was good“

“came here for the pub on valentines just to sit by the fire and have a delicious beer. always great service here and clean refreshing beer every time and they always check on you outside lol they don't just forget you are out there they check to see if you need blankets and make you feel warm and taken care of. thank you for making the night special and we recommend you all the time as a stop to banff“

“Oh wow... I was honestly treated so much better here than I was at the keg that I worked for personally back in Calgary. Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically!
