“We went to Coyotes several mornings in a row for breakfast. Food was wonderful and service was great. Our last morning, we sat at the bar and watched the staff work in tandem to perfection. If we ever return to Banff, this place will definitely be our choice.“

“Maclab is your best choice for food on the Banff Centre campus. The menu is generous, and has options to satisfy many different dietary preferences. The space is very large, bright, and welcoming… and it sports an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. The wine and cocktail list is fantastic🍷- definitely recommend the BC wines. The service was friendly and professional, but keep in mind that Maclab can get really busy at times and so, you should be prepared for slower service. Until next time Maclab!“

It was so good that we ended up visiting all 3 days of our trip to grab breakfast!“

“I ordered the pizza, wings, poutine meal, and I have to say that these food items were one of the best eatings I've had in Banff over the various trips I've made with family. The pizza is crispy and fluffy while still holding the toppings firmly. The wings were extra crispy and delicious and the poutine was my absolute favorite. It's hard finding a good poutine with good gravy.“

“Was just finding a restaurant to eat while visiting Banff with my boyfriend today. We decided to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. The service, atmosphere, and food was a 10/10. Jamie recommended us the Cajun beef short rib and it was perfect. Although we were kind of hesitant to eat the alligator bites, it was surprisingly really good. For myself, I had the crab and corn bisque and it hit the spot! We finally found a place to eat everytime we go to Banff. Thanks Jamie for the great food and memorable experience!😊“

It was incredibly light, almost airy, with a delicate balance of sweetness that allowed the fresh strawberry flavor to shine through beautifully. Nothing felt heavy or overly rich; instead, every layer complemented the next, creating a refreshing and elegant treat. The texture was just perfect—soft, slightly creamy, and subtly crisp where it needed to be.

The Passion Cake was equally impressive, offering a vibrant contrast with its bright, tropical notes. The passion fruit flavor was bold yet refined, delivering just the right amount of tanginess to balance the sweetness. It had a smooth, luscious consistency that melted effortlessly, making each bite indulgent without being overwhelming.

The new hazelnuts croissant 🥐 was a bit too rich but still super unique and worth trying it at least once.

Together, these two pastries showcased a wonderful mastery of flavor and texture. You can tell great care and attention went into crafting them. They weren’t just desserts—they were experiences. If you appreciate pastries that are both refined and full of flavor, these are absolutely worth trying.“

“Went up to Banff with a few friends last Friday and we ended up at Vistas Dining Room for dinner, which honestly turned out to be the highlight of the whole trip. The elk medallions were incredible, cooked perfectly and the sauce had this rich depth that made it hard not to order a second plate. Our server was super attentive without being overbearing, kept checking in just enough and gave great suggestions when we were debating between dishes. The views of the mountains through those big windows as the sun was going down made the whole evening feel pretty special, definitely one of those spots we'll be coming back to.“

“Oh wow... I was honestly treated so much better here than I was at the keg that I worked for personally back in Calgary. Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically!
