Service was awesome like always but the biggest this is you Gotta bring back the og arni!! New one is not as good as the og one!
Delicious food and fun…fun…fun
The lamb shank was so delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly. We also tried the Alberta beef souvlaki—the beef was a bit salty to me, but it tasted great!
We missed the food so much that we returned to the restaurant on our way back to Calgary. The calamari and spiced lamb souvlaki are highly recommended!
For drinks, you should definitely try the chili Pineapple!

The Balkan Mediterranean Restaurant offers fresh, tasty food and a lovely atmosphere. Guests enjoyed the lamb gyro, Alberta beef, Greek fest platter, spicy whipped feta, chicken souvlaki, and Tito’s and Tonic. The food was quite spectacular, full of flavor and tender, with fries described as the best ever. The menu is strong, with many Greek favorites and delicious cocktails. Service is particularly good, with attentive, friendly, and wonderful staff who answer questions and make the experience fun. The atmosphere is superb, and Greek night on Fridays features belly dancers. The restaurant is not as crowded as others, with immediate seating and timely food. Overall, it is a great place with outstanding food, lovely ambience, and a very positive experience.
