“5 years after leaving a 5 star review, here's my update (still 5 stars!!!):We love Gauchos Canmore so much. It is our favorite date night out, we just wish we could afford to do it more! Yes, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for!!! The food is absolutely delicious & the service is top notch!!! Even though we only go a couple times a year, the servers recognize us & remember our preferences. They are personable, friendly, & super helpful. Keep up the good work!!!“
“A truly hidden gem in Canmore. Our child asked how we booked the entire restaurant for us? Such an amazing view of nature, with snowflakes upon us, while enjoying the warmth of a real fire. The service was impeccable, and meal very tasteful. Steph has been one of the best in Alberta to take care of us. From a well travelled individual, highly recommended!“
“Our server Chris was amazing very knowledgeable and offered samples on things we were unsure which only made us want more! We were very full and satisfied off of the few items we ordered and will definitely be back to try more rolls and different sake!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options“
“We absolutely love this place!! Its one of our must stops when we are in the mountains. Our fav - mountaineer bagel and caramel macchiato. The carrot cake is a great “to go” option for a mid day treat! Their bagels also amazing and we always grab a bag as we head back home. It is always busy with a long lineup but the line moves quite fast so don’t let that discourage you! It’s worth the wait!“

“Great tasting food and the service was excellent, Atmosphere needs more ventilation.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian food was available to cater my needs, we asked the server to make it spicy and it was well done.Parking: Limited street parking, on a narrow street.“
“Best coffee in Canmore!This location is also perfect for kids and babies. There is enough space across the two floors that everyone, whether you have kids or not, can I’ll enjoy their coffee and snacks while the kids can be kids as well :)“
“My fiance and I come to Alberta at least once a year on a ski trip, and after a long day of skiing, we ALWAYS make sure to stop by this amazing cafe in Canmore to get some protein shakes! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The smoothies are OH SO GOOD! We have also tried some of their lunch items, and they were tasty! 100% recommend. :)“

There's comfortable seating ourisde with music, sadly it's right on the main highway so that's rather noisy and the crosswalk beeping is obnoxious.Chai latte was good and fairly priced for Canadian standards (high)I'm on a mission to visit the best coffee shops (atmosphere)Parking: Free parking with 10+ spots“
“The baked goods I've had have been delicious, I especially love the Carrot Muffin & Austrian Apple Struedel.I find that the service can be hit or miss, I have had incredibly friendly service (yesterday morning) or been treated as if I'm bothering the person.“
“We visit Canmore a couple of times a year and always call into this bakery. Their sausage rolls are excellent, I usually eat mine cold on the road and they are definitely better than grocery store sausage rolls. The cookies are great, I love the energy cookies, and they have a very wide selection of other sweet and savoury treats.“
“Our vegan options here in Canmore are limited, especially for takeout. I love getting their impossible nuggets with cheesy bread for only $14! They have a large selection of pre-selected pizza toppings combos or build your own! Vegan fake-meats are great.“
“Went there on Wednesday, the food was good although waited about 20 minutes for just a wrap and there was only 1 other person in the restaurant. The couple at the counter were so cute and gave great service, so nice to see happy, smiling faces at a cafe.“

“The hostess & server were both wonderful. They were friendly and checked in on us often.Just be warned, they have a period between breakfast and lunch where you have to wait for the change over & can’t order.So we just went for tea and came back.I’m glad we did!I decided to go for a Game Changer burger with a GF bun. It was so good! The burger patty alone was one of the most delicious I’ve ever eaten, and add in the Brie, BBQ sauce and Brisket; It’s amazing.We’ll be back Graze ?- It would be nice if the staff have somewhere else to hangout when on break instead of on chairs in front of the bathrooms…haha. “This place was really cool and a good place for breakfast with LOTS of options. Very trendy, unique little place. Only downside is it’s crowded and you’ll struggle most times to find a place to sit. But that’s just cuz they’re successful! It’s really good, try it!“
