“Absolute MUST GO. We drove 30 min out of our way to go and it was well worth it. Amazing atmosphere, incredible customer service and the food is to die for. If you haven’t been here, put it on your bucket list. We will back soon and often!“

“What a wonderful and amazing place! I am celiac so the thought of a whole restaurant being gluten free was absolutely incredible. I indulged and ate foods I normally can’t eat like ginger beef and certain sushi rolls. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and I loved how the owner personally delivered our food items to our table. Every bite was incredible, and I savoured every minute. Among the chatter of other diners every guest said how good their food was! We had the most lovely server Uka and she recommended a great wine to pair with dinner. What a gem of a place with incredible service! Will definitely be back!“

“The Rodízio experience at El Gaucho is genuinely impressive — the meat quality is outstanding and the all-you-can-eat format is fun and well-executed. The Picanha and Rib Eye are absolutely worth it, and the service was attentive.
That said, I want to leave an honest note for groups with mixed dietary needs, because this is something no other review mentions.
The menu is built almost entirely around beef and pork cuts — no fish, no seafood, and the only poultry option is chicken hearts and wings as part of the Rodizio rotation. There is no à la carte option whatsoever — meaning you cannot simply order a chicken dish, a single cut, or a regular plate if the full Rodizio format doesn’t work for you. It’s the full experience at $75 per person, or nothing.
Our group of three included a guest who doesn’t eat red meat but does eat chicken and fish — a very common dietary preference. There was nothing suitable for her. The restaurant did not charge her for the Rodizio, which was fair — but she still had to sit through the entire dinner with nothing to eat while the rest of us were served. That is an uncomfortable experience for everyone at the table.
A simple chicken or fish plate option, or at minimum a clear warning on the website, would make a big difference for future guests.
Bottom line: if your whole group eats red meat and wants a full feast, come without hesitation — you will love it. But if even one person in your group has dietary restrictions or simply doesn’t eat red meat, plan accordingly or choose a different restaurant.
4/5 — Exceptional meat, but a rigid format that doesn’t work for everyone.“

“This is my 3rd visit to Market Bistro! It has been completely renovated since the last time I was here. It's lovely, clean and modern looking! Truthfully I think I miss the more eclectic vibe from the place but it's beautiful now too! The food never disappoints here. I had the Tuscan salmon, my sister had the salmon salad and my mom had the lasagna. They were all delicious! The service here is exceptional. They are so on it. Service also kind of felt like a collaborative effort instead of just one server, which was really nice. They seemed to work together very well and we were always so taken care of. We were a tiny bit disappointed with the carrot cake at the end but after my sister kindly informed them, they wasted NO time in rectifying the situation. We didn't want or need a solution, but they insisted on sending us home with a replacement dessert of our choosing. Everything is top notch quality here! Highly recommend!!“

“We were in Canmore for 48 hours and went to JK’s three times. As a vegetarian I appreciated the veggie options (hello protein tomato and lentil soup!). The bread was AMAZING. I had the ciabatta egg salad, quiche, and pretzel baguette and all were amazing. I haven’t stopped thinking of that pretzel baguette….“

“Canmore Panago Pizza is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! The quality of their pizza is top-notch, with fresh ingredients that make every bite incredibly flavorful. The crust is just right – perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which really makes the pizza stand out. The store itself is always spotless, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming. Plus, the staff are so friendly and efficient, ensuring fast service even during busy times. If you’re in Canmore and craving a delicious, reliable pizza experience, I highly recommend stopping by Panago!

“Honey, I shrunk the Boston Brute. Shouldn't there be a standard across the BP chain for serving sizes? I ordered a Boston Brute and it looked 1/2 size of one I had in Edmonton 1 week prior. Maybe that is a slight exaggeration but it was very noticeable. Service and food was great, and it was kids free month which was nice, but the $4 pop negated some of that, I guess prices are going up everywhere.“
