“BEST INDIAN FOOD! This northern Indian restaurant was such a delightful surprise and hands down our best meal in Canmore/Banff. There were many traditional dishes with some interesting modern twists that didn't distract from the familiar flavors of India. We had a party of eight so shared a number of dishes and every single one was a standout. We left wishing we could franchise this in Washington, DC so we could access such deliciousness regularly back home.”

“Sharing this late, as we were there in May, but the experience has stuck with me.
We came in on a Saturday night as a group. The space felt cozy and it was very inviting. I started with the Carrot Cake cocktail-OH.MY.GOD, it was so delicious. I still think about that drink. Perfectly sweet and bursting with flavour, it was a perfect cocktail and I almost ordered another for dessert.
For appetizers we ordered the Pine Flour Brioche, Foie Gras & Elk Shortrib Croquette, Bison Tartare & Wild Boar Belly. Every single dish was a delight-the plating was gorgeous and the food was incredible. All stand outs, but the brioche was the star (I'm forever a bread girl).
For mains we ordered the Duck Breast, Pan Seared Trout, Baby Carrots & Frites. The Duck was so tender and juicy (and you could eat the mini pine cones-surprisingly delicious!) and the trout was probably one of the best I've ever had. Of course, the fries were incredible (that sauce!!!) and the carrots a perfect balance.
We were full, but shared the Bergamot Curd and it was a perfect end to the meal.
Sauvage is an experience from start to finish-not only does the food look like art, it was absolutely incredible tasting. The staff were also wonderful and made great suggestions. Thank you chef Tracy for an amazing culinary experience!”

“The Mediterranean hi Ken was really good with tomatoes, spinach and goat cheese. It doesn’t come with and any carbs so if you’re hungry you’ll want a side. My dinner partners had fish and c sweet potato fries and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. We all ate everything on our plates and were too full for dessert can’t comment on wine or drink menu as no one had any. Beautiful view of Three Sisters.”

The meats from the rodizio were really tasty, the sides as well. And you see the mountains from most of the tables, which is such a nice add on.

But the true highlight of the experience was the service. Esteban was our waiter and he was super attentive all the time, brought us everything we asked for super fast, and overall made our experience super pleasant.

Highly recommend it if you’re looking for good food and a memorable experience!”

“My friend and I tried this Filipino-fusion restaurant recently and had a really great time. The food was delicious and the drinks were surprisingly good too. Everything we ordered had great flavor, and the prices were actually pretty reasonable for the quality. The staff were all very friendly, and our server in particular was SUPER accommodating and really entertaining, which made the whole experience even better. Shoutout to her—I believe her name is Randi, the best server in town. 😎”

The dining area has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to start the morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service from start to finish. “We just had dinner at Indian Authentic Cuisine and had a wonderful meal. One of us had lived in India for awhile and said the food was very authentic! I just thought it was delicious. We had garlic naan and rice and samosas and 2 main dishes. It was very reasonably priced and fed 3 of us. I would highly recommend the restaurant.”

“Yes, I understand when you’re in Canada, you must try A&W, but I’ve been pretty meh about them in the past. This visit definitely changed my mind. We actually ventured here around midnight after our flight landed. Although the dining room was closed and you can only order from the walk-up window or drive-thru, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious, much better than my past experiences at other A&W’s.

* Nashville Hot Chicken Cruncher: who would’ve thought A&W would be the place to order Nashville hot chicken? However, this was actually better than a lot of chains we tried in Nashville.
* Root beer float: Yay, it’s back and so good! A classic and their claim to fame.
* Smash Burger: I usually don’t care for smash burgers, but this was even better than the Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
* Fries: You can never go wrong with fries.

Glad that this location was open 24/7 to save us from hunger before heading to Banff for the night.”

“What a wonderful and amazing place! I am celiac so the thought of a whole restaurant being gluten free was absolutely incredible. I indulged and ate foods I normally can’t eat like ginger beef and certain sushi rolls. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and I loved how the owner personally delivered our food items to our table. Every bite was incredible, and I savoured every minute. Among the chatter of other diners every guest said how good their food was! We had the most lovely server Uka and she recommended a great wine to pair with dinner. What a gem of a place with incredible service! Will definitely be back!”

“After a long day of hiking we went here for a pizza dinner. It was a great experience staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered a pepperoni and chicken pizza. It definitely surprised me how good the pizza was. It tasted similar to a wood oven pizza and not like a frozen pizza. I guess it depends what pizza you get, I liked the pepperoni pizza more but that’s just my preference. Overall great experience!”

“We visited CG March 14,2022 for a well deserved Margarita/Tacos after a long day in Johnston Canyon. My wife loved the Peach Pit margarita, very tasty and I had a Hot Tamale’ margarita shaken. The pick three tacos are a great addition too being able to try any flavor of taco you prefer. The fish tacos are by far the best. Definitely recommend the salted caramel cheesecake for your sweet tooth. Friendly, helpful staff. If your craving Mexican flavors definitely check out Cabeza-Grande. Thanks for the experience.”

“We ordered (ahead of time) some Sri Lankan short-eats and Lamprais from Nalaka and crew at Canmore Shawarma while visiting Banff in July 2024. The food was delicious 👌🏼👌🏼 The rolls had the same Sri Lankan goodness to them. 🤤 The Lamprais was out of this world. 🤩 Everything was made fresh and packed for us. Exceptional customer service by the staff as well. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request to pick up the Lamprais early in the morning on our way, even before the restaurant opened. Nalaka was very responsive on text messages and placing the orders and picking up was a breeze. We will be returning for sure and this will be a regular spot for food everytime we visit Alberta. 😊👍🏻”

“Honey, I shrunk the Boston Brute. Shouldn't there be a standard across the BP chain for serving sizes? I ordered a Boston Brute and it looked 1/2 size of one I had in Edmonton 1 week prior. Maybe that is a slight exaggeration but it was very noticeable. Service and food was great, and it was kids free month which was nice, but the $4 pop negated some of that, I guess prices are going up everywhere.”
