“BEST INDIAN FOOD! This northern Indian restaurant was such a delightful surprise and hands down our best meal in Canmore/Banff. There were many traditional dishes with some interesting modern twists that didn't distract from the familiar flavors of India. We had a party of eight so shared a number of dishes and every single one was a standout. We left wishing we could franchise this in Washington, DC so we could access such deliciousness regularly back home.”

My dinner partners had fish and c sweet potato fries and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. We all ate everything on our plates and were too full for dessert can’t comment on wine or drink menu as no one had any. Beautiful view of Three Sisters.”

Everything we ordered had great flavor, and the prices were actually pretty reasonable for the quality. The staff were all very friendly, and our server in particular was SUPER accommodating and really entertaining, which made the whole experience even better. Shoutout to her—I believe her name is Randi, the best server in town. 😎”

The servings are hearty and definitely fill the hunger gap after a day on the ski hill. The service is exemplary with skilled and friendly staff. “We just had dinner at Indian Authentic Cuisine and had a wonderful meal. One of us had lived in India for awhile and said the food was very authentic! I just thought it was delicious. We had garlic naan and rice and samosas and 2 main dishes. It was very reasonably priced and fed 3 of us. I would highly recommend the restaurant.”

I indulged and ate foods I normally can’t eat like ginger beef and certain sushi rolls. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and I loved how the owner personally delivered our food items to our table. Every bite was incredible, and I savoured every minute. Among the chatter of other diners every guest said how good their food was! We had the most lovely server Uka and she recommended a great wine to pair with dinner. What a gem of a place with incredible service! Will definitely be back!”

“We visited CG March 14,2022 for a well deserved Margarita/Tacos after a long day in Johnston Canyon. My wife loved the Peach Pit margarita, very tasty and I had a Hot Tamale’ margarita shaken. The pick three tacos are a great addition too being able to try any flavor of taco you prefer. The fish tacos are by far the best. Definitely recommend the salted caramel cheesecake for your sweet tooth. Friendly, helpful staff. If your craving Mexican flavors definitely check out Cabeza-Grande. Thanks for the experience.”

“We ordered (ahead of time) some Sri Lankan short-eats and Lamprais from Nalaka and crew at Canmore Shawarma while visiting Banff in July 2024. The food was delicious 👌🏼👌🏼 The rolls had the same Sri Lankan goodness to them. 🤤 The Lamprais was out of this world. 🤩 Everything was made fresh and packed for us. Exceptional customer service by the staff as well. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request to pick up the Lamprais early in the morning on our way, even before the restaurant opened. Nalaka was very responsive on text messages and placing the orders and picking up was a breeze. We will be returning for sure and this will be a regular spot for food everytime we visit Alberta. 😊👍🏻”

The outdoor seating was a nice bonus, making for a relaxing atmosphere after hiking all day while enjoying our meal. The store also has plenty of fresh bread, deli meats, preserves, and refrigerated/frozen meats, which would also make a nice meal if you're camping I bet. The store has been open for decades and is family run as well.”

“We showed up for the 3rd time this week to get some amazing ice cream at the scoopin moose. The one Asian, kind of short guy was the best person in Canada I’ve ever met. There card machines were broken and they were only accepting cash, but we showed up with 10 USD and he gave us 4 medium sized ice cream ice cream cups which were like 7 Canadian dollars each! This place is amazing, best location, best ice cream, best service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

She recommended the best option financially for what I was after and joked with my girls as she made their sandwiches, lightening the mood for them and intriguing them as they ordered. She also gave them a pen to write their names on their sandwiches when they were all done. I was so thankful and pleased with our experience here! Enough that I wanted to let others know, if you have kids, this Subway was super great!”

“Honey, I shrunk the Boston Brute. Shouldn't there be a standard across the BP chain for serving sizes? I ordered a Boston Brute and it looked 1/2 size of one I had in Edmonton 1 week prior. Maybe that is a slight exaggeration but it was very noticeable. Service and food was great, and it was kids free month which was nice, but the $4 pop negated some of that, I guess prices are going up everywhere.”

“We had a Monday night dinner special of Chateaubriand, it was amazing! The soup and salad to start were very flavorful, then the main dish, perfect cut of meat with a beautiful mix of vegetables and potatoe! At the end we had an incredible fresh baked chocolate chip cookie topped with salted caramel, ice cream and berries! We highly recommend this dinner and our server, Jess, was excellent!
