“Whoever was working today was a pure angel. My three girls are usually a bit tough to order for, and the lady working was so kind and accommodating. She recommended the best option financially for what I was after and joked with my girls as she made their sandwiches, lightening the mood for them and intriguing them as they ordered. She also gave them a pen to write their names on their sandwiches when they were all done. I was so thankful and pleased with our experience here! Enough that I wanted to let others know, if you have kids, this Subway was super great!“

“When it’s not overly busy it’s 4.5/5. When it’s peak hour it’s 1.5/5.

- Interior is a little outdated, too cramped when there are 30+ people inside, which in the summer, is all the time. The patio is nice.
- Plenty of free parking at main lot and adjacent lot.
- Scenery here is 5/5. The scenic backdrop is Rocky Mountains.
- The washrooms are shared with the Petro CAN (closed currently due to renovations) gas station that’s connected to McDonald’s. When busy, it can be a 5-15 minute wait. Due to high number of people using it, it’s messy at times.

Still, I always pit stop here, the alternative is McDonald’s in Banff but it’s much worse in every way possible.“

“We grabbed a quick bite at A&W on our way to the hotel and, honestly, really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were great, and the cheeseburger good too. Service was friendly, the place was reasonably clean, and the food hit the spot. Exactly what we needed after a drive.“
