“I really enjoyed the Hankki Combo Bop. The Korean BBQ and spicy pork combo hit the sweet spot for me—savory with just enough heat, nothing overwhelming. I liked that the spices stayed mild, so the flavors came through without burning out my taste buds. Paired with the rice and veggies, it felt filling, balanced, and super comforting. Definitely something I’d order again when I want a satisfying Korean-style bowl.”

“Great experience at Lion Head Pub!! We really needed this in sunset. We came in last Thursday night and there were what looked like only 2 people serving and a jam packed place!! Our server, Kendra was friendly, upbeat and seemed to handle the rush like a pro! The food was amazing! We will definitely be back and asking for our new favourite server!”

“Probably the best tacotime in or around the Calgary area. STORE- Clean, and tidy. FOOD- always great quality. STAFF- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We drive from out of town just to go to this tacotime, because it’s honestly worth the extra time to eat here. We love the open food prep area out front and taking the extra tom to ask if we want all the toppings as listed makes us feel as though the staff really care and take the time to make our food fresh. When we eat in the staff comes and asks if it was good and is always smiling. What a great place.”

“Food was fresh and excellent. Customer up as I am recovering from major surgery. There were some items missing from the order so I called the restaurant and explained the situation. They were very responsive and within 20 minutes the missing items were delivered to my door. Thats customer service and that earns loyalty and kudos. Definitely will support and recommend this restaurant in the future. They are a five star gem.”

“Every single time I go buy a sub here.. staff is miserable. The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious, but the staff hates their life, it’s almost like they are doing you a favour by preparing the sandwich for you. Perhaps they are overworked ? I don’t know…. But it is so off putting.”

“There is only so much that you can expect in a sandwich shop. But I was a fortunate patron of the River Heights Drive Subway this afternoon. I look for a clean, bright and fresh atmosphere with an attentive staff member to make my sandwich with the freshest ingredients. This Subway meets all these concerns ten out of ten.”

“Fun way to start Saturdays. A short 25 minute drive from Calgary for coffee on their cozy outdoor deck. The inside is old timey wooden beams. Baking is really tasty too. Went with friends and then walked over to the used bookstore and more visiting.”

“Great service. There was only one waitress when I visited with ny family, she handled multiple tables all by herself and was awesome and timely in getting us our drinks and food. My burger was actually so good and decently priced. The fries were awesome, and all in all it was a great experience. I don't always have a good time in Cochrane restaurants and i gotta admit the Venue definitely surpassed my expectations. Also thanks for offering so many non alcoholic beer options!”

When I told Rayanne she said everything is made in house, even the sauce. I told her I found the sauce to be the best one I have ever had. “We had a great experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and we especially want to appreciate the shift manager on duty at the time (we regret not remembering her name). She was extremely helpful and kind—she offered us a great deal that included the popcorn shrimp, and the quantity she suggested was just right.

She also recommended we try the chicken dippers, and we absolutely loved them! We were so impressed by her customer service and friendly attitude that we wanted to come back and thank her in person—but we’ve already left for our vacation.

“Went here on a Saturday evening with a couple of friends a few weeks ago and honestly it exceeded all our expectations. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with just the right amount of char on it. Our server was super attentive without being overbearing, which really made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Cochrane doesn't have a ton of options for a solid sit-down dinner but Yoshi Grill is definitely one we'll be coming back to.”

“We have visited this restaurant everytime we think of going for breakfast! The owners have made such an above and beyond atmosphere we will not go anywhere else. They greet us everytime, they stay and chat and catch up with our family and when we return the conversation picks up right where it was left. The food is also amazing but to be honest we come for the welcoming, family like energy that we receive everytime.

Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy that cozy feel like home meal.”

“I don't know why there are negative reviews, but it has been positive for me each time. I normally order on the mobile app and pick up in store. I always saw the boy serving or taking my orders (if needed), and he's one of the best staff out there.

Dine-in is quite quiet, and I love that.

Food is freshly cooked and have never disappointed me. Highly recommended!”
