“I really enjoyed the Hankki Combo Bop. The Korean BBQ and spicy pork combo hit the sweet spot for me—savory with just enough heat, nothing overwhelming. I liked that the spices stayed mild, so the flavors came through without burning out my taste buds. Paired with the rice and veggies, it felt filling, balanced, and super comforting. Definitely something I’d order again when I want a satisfying Korean-style bowl.”

“We had supper at the shire pub tonight, it’s been many years since we’ve been there. The service was very friendly and the food transported us back to England. Really enjoyed the fish and chips, the stuffed Yorkies with Guinness stew was delicious! And the sticky toffee pudding was soooo good! Highly recommend!”

My one gripe is that there is one female employee who is pretty unfriendly and borderline rude, was travelling here in May as well, and had the same issue. Other than that, everything else is fantastic and it’s still my go-to place when visiting!”

“Probably the best tacotime in or around the Calgary area. STORE- Clean, and tidy. FOOD- always great quality. STAFF- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We drive from out of town just to go to this tacotime, because it’s honestly worth the extra time to eat here. We love the open food prep area out front and taking the extra tom to ask if we want all the toppings as listed makes us feel as though the staff really care and take the time to make our food fresh. When we eat in the staff comes and asks if it was good and is always smiling. What a great place.”

“Still Water Tea catered for our first Cochrane Business Network lunch and it was amazing! Sandwich platters, charcuterie board, dessert platter and tea - all at an affordable price! Angela is absolutely lovely and easy to work with and we can't wait to use their catering services again! I've also personally purchased the teas and sat in the cafe with a chai latte and I will certainly be back again and again!”

“We visited Cobs at the Quarry with our Brownie Group, and it was such a wonderful experience! Derek kept all 20 of our girls engaged, and interested, and they learned so much about how a bakery works. As a bonus, each girl got a yummy treat, and a takeaway bag with a coupon, colouring and a balloon. So much fun! Thank you Derek, and your team, for providing excellent service, and a great learning opportunity for our group.”

“Every single time I go buy a sub here.. staff is miserable. The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious, but the staff hates their life, it’s almost like they are doing you a favour by preparing the sandwich for you. Perhaps they are overworked ? I don’t know…. But it is so off putting.”

“I would like to share so much gratitude for this Subway being in town and a bonus for being so close to our home. We have made special trips just to go to this subway because of the incredible customer service. They know us by name and on some days remember our subs better than we do. SHOBIT is our ultimate favourite person to deal with, he connects with us, asks us questions and it's like a short visit with a friend every time we visit when he is there. The owner is extremely kind as well and treats his employees really well from what we can see at the front. The place is always so clean and top notch service.

“I really like this place. It has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere that makes it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The matcha latte is delicious, and the muffins are very well made.

The upstairs seating area is especially nice if you want to bring your laptop, as there are outlets available for working. The café is also clean and has a warm, welcoming feel.

The only downside is parking. There are only a limited number of street parking spots, so it can be difficult to find parking during busy times. If possible, it’s better to go earlier.

Overall, I really enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend it”

“This CPU location is by far our favorite. The owner Khalid and his staff are so friendly. We have been customers here for over 10 years and everytime we visit this location he is so personable and makes your business feel so appreciated. The Tastey bread is one of our favorite items from here. Always delicious. The chicken and Samosas are amazing as well. And the pizza is alway perfect. Sometimes I order half with toppings and half just cheese. If your ever in the sunset area or anywhere in Cochrane actually I recommend stopping in there for something to eat. We are so lucky to have such a great pizza location here in Sunset.”

They were very responsive and within 20 minutes the missing items were delivered to my door. Thats customer service and that earns loyalty and kudos. When I told Rayanne she said everything is made in house, even the sauce. I told her I found the sauce to be the best one I have ever had. We will make this our favourite choice for Chinese Food take out in Cochrane. Portions were very large, we could only eat half of what we ordered.”

“We had a great experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and we especially want to appreciate the shift manager on duty at the time (we regret not remembering her name). She was extremely helpful and kind—she offered us a great deal that included the popcorn shrimp, and the quantity she suggested was just right.

She also recommended we try the chicken dippers, and we absolutely loved them! We were so impressed by her customer service and friendly attitude that we wanted to come back and thank her in person—but we’ve already left for our vacation.

“Our food was good. We always get the kids bowl. Teriyaki chicken bowl. We've had it at 3 other locations in Calgary but at this location the bowl had very little chicken. Also it was not very hot. I don't mind waiting a little longer for food as long as it is hot. But this one wasn't.”

“I don't know why there are negative reviews, but it has been positive for me each time. I normally order on the mobile app and pick up in store. I always saw the boy serving or taking my orders (if needed), and he's one of the best staff out there.

Dine-in is quite quiet, and I love that.

Food is freshly cooked and have never disappointed me. Highly recommended!”
