“One of the first places I ordered from when moving to Cochrane. Ordered for lunch and it was so good that I also ordered for dinner. Since then, this is the go to place for quick delicious food!

The staff are welcoming and the owner (I think) is genuinely happy to welcome each guest into the establishment when he’s there.

Never had any issues or problems with picking up food ordered online and it’s always done within the time or before and still hot and fresh when I get home.”

“We had supper at the shire pub tonight, it’s been many years since we’ve been there. The service was very friendly and the food transported us back to England. Really enjoyed the fish and chips, the stuffed Yorkies with Guinness stew was delicious! And the sticky toffee pudding was soooo good! Highly recommend!”

“Such a great spot in Cochrane. I absolutely loved it and ended up going back three times.

I love that they have outdoor spaces in both the front and the back with different options for sitting. The flat white was just beautiful. It had that perfect bold coffee flavor with a smooth, thin layer of microfoam—literally exactly how a flat white and a perfect cup of coffee is supposed to taste.

Highly recommend checking them out.”

“We visited Cobs at the Quarry with our Brownie Group, and it was such a wonderful experience! Derek kept all 20 of our girls engaged, and interested, and they learned so much about how a bakery works. As a bonus, each girl got a yummy treat, and a takeaway bag with a coupon, colouring and a balloon. So much fun! Thank you Derek, and your team, for providing excellent service, and a great learning opportunity for our group.”

“Great experience at Lion Head Pub!! We really needed this in sunset. We came in last Thursday night and there were what looked like only 2 people serving and a jam packed place!! Our server, Kendra was friendly, upbeat and seemed to handle the rush like a pro! The food was amazing! We will definitely be back and asking for our new favourite server!”

“Probably the best tacotime in or around the Calgary area. STORE- Clean, and tidy. FOOD- always great quality. STAFF- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We drive from out of town just to go to this tacotime, because it’s honestly worth the extra time to eat here. We love the open food prep area out front and taking the extra tom to ask if we want all the toppings as listed makes us feel as though the staff really care and take the time to make our food fresh. When we eat in the staff comes and asks if it was good and is always smiling. What a great place.”

“Food was fresh and excellent. Customer up as I am recovering from major surgery. There were some items missing from the order so I called the restaurant and explained the situation. They were very responsive and within 20 minutes the missing items were delivered to my door. Thats customer service and that earns loyalty and kudos. Definitely will support and recommend this restaurant in the future. They are a five star gem.”

I look for a clean, bright and fresh atmosphere with an attentive staff member to make my sandwich with the freshest ingredients. This Subway meets all these concerns ten out of ten.”

“Great service. There was only one waitress when I visited with ny family, she handled multiple tables all by herself and was awesome and timely in getting us our drinks and food. My burger was actually so good and decently priced. The fries were awesome, and all in all it was a great experience. I don't always have a good time in Cochrane restaurants and i gotta admit the Venue definitely surpassed my expectations. Also thanks for offering so many non alcoholic beer options!”

“Every single time I go buy a sub here.. staff is miserable. The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious, but the staff hates their life, it’s almost like they are doing you a favour by preparing the sandwich for you. Perhaps they are overworked ? I don’t know…. But it is so off putting.”

“We are from Medicine Hat. Our first visit May 15. We had exceptional service from Rayanne and in all honesty yours was the best pizza we have had in many years. When I told Rayanne she said everything is made in house, even the sauce. I told her I found the sauce to be the best one I have ever had. “Dined at this restaurant, today, July 3 after 5 pm. Thank you to Samantha at Original Joe’s in Cochrane! We sat outside and this server couldn’t have been more kind and efficient. She was so pleasant to all of us, checked on us constantly and was incredibly sweet to our grandchildren…she has a great rapport with kids.
The food was excellent, large portions and quick to arrive at our table.

“We had a great experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and we especially want to appreciate the shift manager on duty at the time (we regret not remembering her name). She was extremely helpful and kind—she offered us a great deal that included the popcorn shrimp, and the quantity she suggested was just right.

She also recommended we try the chicken dippers, and we absolutely loved them! We were so impressed by her customer service and friendly attitude that we wanted to come back and thank her in person—but we’ve already left for our vacation.
