“After a beautiful day exploring the downtown heart of Banff, it was time for a break and we discovered Bear Street Tavern. The place is warm and rustic with patio seating when the weather is inviting. The barkeep was engaging and the hummus exceptional.“

“So delicious!! Must get the arancini they are perfect! The staff is super kind and attentive we have some weird severe allergies in our party and they went out of their way to check ingredients on everything. Deemed “best cheese pizza ever” by multiple of our crowd (Quattro Formaggi). We got one of each of their desserts - lemon merengue was super rich and tiramisu beignets were perfectly not too sweet and light.

And they played Harry Potter audiobooks in the bathroom so a pretty perfect dining experience.“

“Where to enjoy bowling in Banff! It also sells a variety of food, including pizza, wings, beer, and cocktails. It is a great place to take advantage of the menu discounts that change each day of the week and the happy hour (bowling price half the price) held from 4-6 p.m.“

“We were craving deep dish pizza (chicago style) and asked around. A friendly server at another pizza restaurant suggested visiting this place as they had deep dish..kudos to him (i wish i knew his name to thank him)

This place is a GEM for deep dish!! I personally felt they were better than the Chicago deep dish to be honest - the crust is made in-house (as per the server), the pizza was sooooioo delicious

We were 2 people, ordered a large - plain cheese with black olives and finished the whole thing!!

For the main course, we shared the Rigatoni Carbonara—rich and flavorful with pork guanciale and reggiano—and the Dry Aged Pork Porterhouse, which was perfectly seasoned and tender after 45 days of in-house aging. To finish, we indulged in 'The James' Tiramisu, a delightful twist with decaffeinated coffee and espresso vodka. The ambiance was excellent, and we highly recommend reserving a table, as this popular spot fills up quickly. A must-visit!“

“I recently visited to banff and this shop absolute a gem. I was greeted with warm smiles. The pizza was simply phenomenal. The crust was crispy, with the right amount of cheese. The toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor.
The staff is so friendly and quick, despite of being busy they make sure everyone was well care of. waiting time for pizza was minimal. Staff was also knowledgeable about their menu and offered great recommendations. Considering the quality and the portion size the price was worth every penny. It’s a must visit if you’re in the area, whether you are pizza lover or just looking for a great meal. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to BANFF.“
