Disappointing and Unpleasant Experience on Canada Day
I recently had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience at Maple Leaf in Banff on Canada Day. We went to the restaurant to celebrate and to watch the Euro 2024 soccer games. Upon arrival,we asked if we can watch the soccer game. we were told there wouldn't be any audio for the game, but we were still welcome to watch. We ordered our food, paid over $100, including a tip, and then my husband briefly left to get...read full review

Based on the reviews, The Maple Leaf Steak & Seafood in Banff is a top-notch friendly brunch venue and a fantastic steakhouse with downtown views. The first-touch welcome is friendly and chill, and the service is excellent, kind, efficient, and awesome. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, making it a great place for a relaxing meal. The food is next level delicious, insanely delicious, and completely delivered. Highly recommended meals include the cast iron crab gratin dip, Alberta beef tenderloin, hot chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream, Alberta Beef Tartare, and the special spring three course dinner. The bison spare ribs are fantastic, and the tenderloin filet is wonderful with house garlic butter glaze on top. The breakfast is very yummy, and the restaurant is famous for breakfast too. The views are excellent, especially from the upstairs seating along the windows. It is a sister restaurant to PARK Distillery Restaurant and Bar. The service is friendly and attentive, making the experience feel relaxed but polished. It is a standout dinner and a highlight of any Banff trip, easy to recommend for any Banff visit.
