What a wonderful surprise in Banff! Coming from a big city, I have to admit that after a few days here, I was still looking for a restaurant that would really impress me. This one absolutely did.
The menu has a great variety, everything we tried was delicious, and the quality of the food was outstanding. But the meat deserves a special mention—it was simply exceptional, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had.

Absolutely fabulous meal. Alberta Beef was worth it! Sides starters service - all top notch. Pricey but very good. Highly recommend!
An exceptional dining experience at 1888 Chop House! The food was excellent, and our server was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. All of the staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend if you’re dining in Banff!
