Yama Onigiri is a delicious and filling lunch spot in Banff, known for its excellent Japanese riceballs. The onigiri are stuffed with generous toppings, featuring fluffy and perfectly cooked rice. Specific highlights include the extremely delicious Hokkaido Scallop onigiri and the excellent scallop onigiri. The mushroom miso soup and pork miso soup are also favorites. The matcha and strawberry matcha are excellent and delicious. The staff is very friendly, kind, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant has a cute overall atmosphere with a manga corner. It is considered the perfect after-ski food and a top reason to visit Banff.
