Banff Poutine is located one street over from the main Banff Ave, which means the sidewalks are far less crowded and there are shorter waits for the restaurants.
Staff here are friendly and efficient.
Food was tasty and came out quickly.
There is limited seating inside, so best for take away or the warmer months when you can sit at a picnic table in front of the establishment.

Had the poutine here a couple of times during our visit to Banff four years ago and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. Came back this week and couldn’t resist stopping in twice! It did not disappoint. Just as delicious as we remembered. A must visit every time we’re in Banff!

This looked authentic and different to other poutines. The gravy not too salty, curds were great - chewy and creamy. The fries were on the dark side which I personally didn't enjoy as much but I'm not sure if this how they are originally done.

I ordered a large putine, honestly i was disappointed by the quantity of meat on it.
We wait like 20 minutos for the putine and the stores was empty.
But in general the flavor is meh, price to experience ratio is not good.

It was okay but the fries really hold the poutine back, in my opinion. Really disappointed honestly. If you're willing to go out of the way, I highly suggest Poutine Queen in Invermere.
