Got the smoked meat poutine. It's not bad. The meat tastes like ham. The guy said it's brisket. Does not taste like one tho. Gravy is tasty. Generous serving of cheese curds. Nice outdoor seating. Serving time around 15mins...
The poutine tasted ok. The fries were floppy and a little dark. I got the smoked meat poutine ($19) and it tasted like corn beef or ham. The food came out pretty quick and the service was great. A small size is plenty for one person. There's limited seating inside and some tables outside. They also offer a to-go option.
Banff Poutine is located one street over from the main Banff Ave, which means the sidewalks are far less crowded and there are shorter waits for the restaurants.
Staff here are friendly and efficient.
