We were pleasantly surprised and satisfied by the quality of the food. One of our favorite meals during our entire trip! We ordered the mixed plate and the Beef donair sandwich, which were both satisfying in terms of taste and quantity of food. Having this 100% Halal option in the middle of Banff town is a huge bonus. Great location and service, would go again!

Food is OK but 5 dollars for an extra rice ration is too expensive. Also hygiene in the kitchen didn't seem a priority

I recently visited Banff Shawarma in downtown Banff and ordered the falafel plate. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The falafel balls were quite salty and lacked the flavor and texture I expect from good falafel.

The fries were also disappointing—undercooked and not crispy at all, tasting more like they were half-done.

For price it's ok and quantity is good for one person.

In my opinion, this isn’t authentic Middle Eastern food, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

That said, everyone has different tastes, so if you’re curious, give it a try and see for yourself.

I went here with my boyfriend. I got garlic potatoes and a veg samosa and he got a Donaire. He enjoyed his meal and the picked reddish was really good, but I really did not dig in to my meal. The samosa could be used for the puck drop at a hockey game and it was lacking flavour entirely. The garlic potatoes were okay and saved by having sauce added. The saddest part was that they didn't have any of the dipping sauce that usually comes with a samosa. I teared the outer shell off of the Samoa in hopes that it would improve the condition, but what I unwrapped was lacking. So if ur looking for a wrap this is your place, but be weary about the sides and inquire on freshness of the Samosa.
