We randomly selected this café as part of a stop from our Airbnb to the lake Louise ski hill and are in love. When you first drive up you might think, hmmmm was this it? And yes it is! This lovely spot is owned by two chefs who take pride in the quality of their food. We had delicious eggs Benedict and then filled our bags with delicious pastries to indulge on the ski hill. What a hidden gem! I was so surprised by the quality of food in this unassuming part of town. The chef was sou chef at the Fairmont for 14 years, I can taste the quality in the smoked salmon egg Benedict I ordered. I don't usually like the potato hash but you can tell the chef actually put efforts into these potatoes bites, they are delightfully tasty! All their pastry is handmade, their christmas special Panettone is unlike anything I have tasted. You have to try it yourself!
What a gem of a restaurant! The moment you walk in, you can feel the love and care they put into everything, the food tastes fresh, homemade, and prepared right there with attention to quality. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You will outgrow this location for sure.
